We tried this restaurant today and it was amazing! Megan was a great server, and kept our drinks topped off and always made sure we were happy. Both of us ordered an onion burger, and we split the onion rings. I have to say it was the best onion burger I've ever eaten. It was huge! The place is not fancy inside. Twice now I'm going with some people to try to eat here for a late lunch. You walk in, you see a little walkway to your left. You see tables and stuff ahead and to your right. There are people working at the bars who don't even acknowledge you. No one greets you as you walk in. No one tells you where to sit. It's a terrible experience. I can't believe I went back with some other people a second time. This place sucks. I've also heard the food is very greasy. I'll never go back... I actually used to go here often! The prices of the food overall is affordable. Their menu options are better than most bars I bet. They have things like wings, sandwiches, and more. There is an outside patio area. I noticed during the day hours you could bring children. There was a pool table and it was spacious inside. I visited recently a couple times. Okie Tonk This was once my favorite place to go. The food is consistently good and prices are competitive. Entertainment is consistently good and the servers are solid. My recent experience was sadly disappointing. The condition of this establishment has gone way down hill. The chairs and tables are wobbly and sticky. The floor is sticky. The bathrooms are filthy and the entire place stinks of rotten beer and trash. Even the outdoors tables and bar smell bad. The food is still good but the fact that you can't scoot anything across the table and you silverware sticks to it will put you off. This is a nice place but obviously is not being taken care of. All the food I've had there is good, their fried catfish is exceptionally good, probably best I've found in town so far. I always get great service and the staff have been nothing but kind and engaging with me. The bar itself, how it's set up is awesome. I honestly don't understand why this place isn't busier, especially of an evening. It's a little pricey for the kind of bar it is for sure, especially some of their shots and beer, but hey where isn't in the metro area now. Not a huge fan of the name Okie Tonk, but who cares as long as the owners dig it. Those are about the only negatives I can find. Before that last tornado that destroyed so much of the south side of Moore, particularly 19th street, there was a pub called MCconnells (I'm positive that's not spelled correctly). My mom and I would order the fish 'n chips. It was the BEST! We were so sad foremost over the loss of anyone's business and there were so many. But, It's take this long to find the same quality. It seems maybe this might be the same place with a different name after they rebuilt. I don't know for sure either way. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia almost 4 years ago and she's in my care so I try to get her whatever she wants and she was so happy to have that fish again. It's really good for those who haven't tried it. So I thought I would try the okie tonk cafe as I noticed they had Indian tacos on their menu and the wife loves Indian tacos. We walked in with my service dog which normally always brings attention to me. Nope not here. Neither me nor my wife could seem to get the attention of any kinda of waitress, hostess, bartenders. There was a nice gentleman who complimented my shirt as he was a fellow wrestling fan. Other than him no one even acknowledged us. So after 10 mins or so I left. You could have the best food in the world but if the staff won't help you, your not going to stay in business long. read more

Service was friendly but slow on a Saturday at lunch time. There were 3 tables of customers, so it wasn't busy. The ambiance was cozy. The food was... well... bar food. We weren't drinking, but if we had been, we might have liked the food better. !!UPDATE!! It is now NON-SMOKING inside!! It is so much more pleasant to be there without all the smoke! Unfortunately, my experience with the Thursday night Singo was not good. I'm not sure if the guy running singo or the manager/owner is in control of the volume of the music but it was so loud in there, you can't hear the person talking right next to you, much less hear anyone yell "SINGO"! The guy running the singo was extremely rude. He told (yelled at) me that since I wasn't playing singo, it didn't matter if I thought the music was too loud. Ordered a pick up order from Grubhub, but was notified as we were pulling into parking lot that order was canceled. I called restaurant to find out why and they said their Grubhub portal wasn't working. We were ordering on Grubhub because we were trying to use a gift card we received. Since we were already there, we went ahead and placed a phone order and paid for it. It's the first time we've had food from this place, and we were pretty disappointed. Ordered an Indian taco. Someone needs to tell them that Indian taco has fry bread, not a taco salad shell. It barely had any ingredients in shell. I guess this place may be fine as a bar, but not for food pick up. We were trying something different with Covid pick up, and trying to support local restaurants. We paid $10 for each "Indian taco". At lunch today, I ordered my usual lunch and although prices have not been changed on the menu, my bill was almost twice what it normally was. The entertainment was okay music was fun, but the service was awful the bartender threw our drinks away our drinks away because my sexy husband And I went to the restroom at the same time. He had our bank card and still charged the drinks he didn't even let us finish...he "assumed"we were finished. The service was bad , hard to get them to serve us drink. Instantly hit in the face with cigarette smoke. No one at the front entrance directing people to the dining area or bar. There are "social distancing reminder" signs all over, yet absolutely no enforcing of it or masks. Why didnt she tip out on St. Pattys Day?? Cause she's cooking her drawer and messed it up somehow so needed to have time to get in the comp and void some stuff. You should check your void reports (which conveniently doesnt show up on a regular Z report). Where should I begin? The dog in the bar or the onion burger says "fried onions" that doesn't come with fried onions? Asked our server and she said that it's called the onion burger, but it comes with grilled onions. She doesn't know why it says fried onions. We asked for a side of fried onions and they have yet to come. The orange crush drink was pretty bland. The panty dropper was delicious. The burgers were greasy. Bar is full of regulars which were give all the attention. We had to ask where to sit because no one greeted us when we came in. If you go enough times and sit at the bar and get to know the bar staff you may have a decent service, but I'm big on first impressions. Don't think we'll be back. read more

I had a groupon for here, the food was pretty tasty. The beer was $1 for ladies night. There is a live band tonight too. A previous review I read said that you could smell smoke in the non smoking section but I couldn't smell it at all. It's a fun little place, they have pool tables and different specials each night. My husband and I love to try new restaurants when they spring up into town. We passed the Okie Tonk and thought that we would like to try it out. The outside looked intriguing and we got excited for what we might find inside. We walked inside and immediately noticed there was no one else in this side of the building. There were some men on the outside doing some construction work, as some men were making an outside deck for a future outside dining. I thought at first the restaurant had not opened yet, but my husband stated he heard a spokesperson on the radio reporting the restaurant had opened over a week ago. We sat down on the second table just inside the restaurant. An older man, after coming out of an inner room, remarked about my husband's OU hat (that matched his t-shirt) and stated he is an avid OU fan and then continued out to talk to the men who were working on the outside deck. After a few moments, some young women came and wiped down the other tables(not ours) and were talking to each other. We were never acknowledged, no eye contact, no "hello! Welcome!!, no smile or "Somebody will be right with you", or even, an "I am so sorry, but we won't open until such and such time", nothing.... My husband and I waited for one of the waitresses or someone to acknowledge us, but unfortuantely, the women only liked to talk amongst themselves. After 20 minutes, we agreed that we gave our best to give this place our patronage but obviously, they were not intrested. So, we left. Months later, after seeing so many cars out in their parking lot at night, we decided to try it out once more. So, at noon-thirty, we entered again, with anticipatory smiles on our faces. We sat at a different table, hoping that if we sat a different table, our experience would be better than our last experisnce. We waited, no one was there. There wasn't any customers, even at the traditional lunch time and certainly no restaurant staff on the floor. My husband even coughed a very loud cough that usually brings him the attention from those who are employed to help him. No response. Again, we waited 20 minutes without seeing any staff, anyone that is supposed to be a greeter, absolutely no one was there to acknowledge us, take our order, fill our drinks or lastly take our money! So, if you haven't read any of this long opinion, do not waste time to get acknowledged at the Okie Tonk. No one will see you obviously unless you come for dinner, drinks and to dance. This week while driving in my car I heard multiple radio adds for the Okie Tonk Cafe, making it sound like a pretty good weekend food destination for me and my wife. We had noticed this place from the moment is came to be since we live a mile from the location. We never ventured there given the fact that even though I'm an Oklahoman I typically avoid all places using the overused terms "Red Dirt" and "Okie". But let's get goin. When you walk into the OTC you have two directions. Left for nonsmoking and right for smoking. The breezeway does have a slight smell of smoke that makes you worry if that's what you'll smell the entire time you're there, however we went into the nonsmoking section and there wasn't the Reek of cigarettes. The restaurant was pretty slow at 11:30 on Sunday so we were able to seat ourselves and the server Leslie dropped off our menus. While looking over the menu we had several minutes to take in the scenery. The OTC is a very snug place with a comfortable atmosphere. They had plentiful TVs around to scope out the usual sports show but more importantly the decor in the restaurant was a mix of Celtic, Scottish, and Irish decorations blended well in. Nothing seemed forced when it came to the decorations so the more we looked the more we saw. Let's get to the food! We ordered a sweet tea and Root Beer for our drinks which were perfect drinks. The tea was moderately sweet and the soda was carbonated and tasty, not watery or flat. The menu had a lot of things to choose from but I went with what was advertised on the radio, the Indian Taco Salad with a side of Hush Puppies. My wife got 2 sliders (Roast Beef and Pulled Pork) and a side of sweet potato fries. All of the food was modestly priced. After we placed our order we were left alone for the most part of our experience. A waitress would come by refill our drinks and ask if we need anything and then move on. This is nice compared to the waitresses in some "sports bar" places that want to start a full blown conversation with you. We received our food within 10 minutes and it looked great! Taco Salad - the taco salad is like a big tostada. Or a taco pizza if you like that comparison. When you get it you don't know exactly how to eat it but cut it into fours and get hands on. It came with a side of salsa and a year packet of sour cream. Overall it was a delicious entree. Sliders - the pulled pork was spot on. It wasn't dry and wasn't soppy (overly wet.) it was flavorful and I could eat a whole sandwich of it. The roast beef was good, but not what I'd called special. It was exactly what it was RB/Swiss/mushroom. The sandwich comes with dip and I believe if you ordered that on the side for the slider, It'd be a better experience Hush puppies- these were amazing. Crunchy, bitesized, and jalapeño infused. I'd order 2 of these! SP Fries - these were also amazing. OTC's sweet potato fries are very special. They are crinkle cut "waffle fries" but are crunchy. This is the way all SP fries should be. Not pathetic shoe strings or hearty steak house style. We will definitely be returning to the OTC, in interested to explore the other special options on the menu to see what they have to offer. Thank you OTC for the good Sunday lunch! read more

So rude. I have never been here before and last night we walk in and there is this older man wearing an okie tonks sweatshirt holding a stack cash. My family and I stand there, waiting to be greeted as his just stares at us. So I stare back until its uncomfortable for him. He never said anything and just pointed with his arm toward the restaurant part of the place. As he is pointing, I ask him what is it that he is pointing at. I mean cannot he jot communicate anything, being that he is working the front door? This man mumbled that we go up "there". We didn't feel welcomed, and this is a terrible first impression. We turned around and left after we inconvenienced them and went to Fuzzy's. Y'all need some customer service training. read more

Just your average bar but it's conveniently located on 19th! Live music on Saturday nights, this place gets pretty crowded but it wasn't too bad the night we went. The music is very loud so good luck keeping up a conversation, we had to go outside. Not only was it very smokey, we couldn't hear each other. This place has two pool tables as well, pay as you go. Two bars but you can't have two separate tabs, they have a small food menu, I got a quesadilla and it was surprisingly good. There was also giant jenga outside for some fun. Something annoying though, those damn water misters soaked all the tables, they were on for at least 2 hours. No point in those, fans would have been better. Staff were very nice and attentive though, I would also consider this bar a bit divey. read more
