I've been dying to try this place out ever since one of my friends told me about it. I love the concept, even if it's similar to other restaurants. Nonetheless, the food is so flavorful and very filling! I had the Korean friend chicken and the braised beef and both were so good, although I did prefer the chicken more. The sauces were unique! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is so cute and hello, the restrooms?! The vibe is so cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to try more items/options and just trying this place out again whenever I go back to Louisiana.

Great spot to get quick and casual Korean food. Super friendly service and big portion sizes. I was able to eat about half of my food. A little bit too much sauce than I expected, but it was still good. Very fresh and authentic taste. I would come back.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in downtown BR. Are you in the mood for a fast, unique lunch that won't break the bank? You are in the right place at Okki Tokki. Here is the setup. Pick your base. They have rice, sweet potato noodles, and spring mix. Pick your protein: They have grilled chicken, fried chicken, braised beef, and some other stuff I cannot remember and have never gotten. Add your extras. I suggest the pickled onions, pickled daikon, and a double heaping of kimchi slaw. Add your sauce. The OT is great but the one that is a herby kick to your mouth is legit awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bring your food to your office and enjoy or eat in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One pro tip - their plastic silverware tends to break when mixing the bowl so grab two. This place is great and I think you will love it too.

Awesome Korean inspired food with huge portions and great value for money. Staff is so kind and helpful, and it's one of the best places downtown for lunch. It's fast and delicious

Okki Tokki is a Korean-inspired bowl place located on Main Street in the side of the Galvez Garage. This contemporary eatery allows you to build your own creation from a base of greens, noodles, or rice, then you add meats, veggies, toppings and sauce. It can be as light or hearty as you choose, and anything from mild to spicy. It allows you to have a different offering every time! The noodle base is my favorite, and I'm fond of both the Korean Fried Chicken and beef. There's Tofu if you don't care for meat. I'm fond of kimchi and cabbage, but really any three vegetables can be chosen. A great bite is the pickled Daikon Radish! Then you have toppings and sauces. Okki Tokki is very popular with the Downtown lunch crowd, but the line moves quickly. Maybe time your visit a little before or after the 11:30am peak. For a special treat try their Spam Sushi!

The food was delicious. The service was quick. I was in and out at 12:15 during lunch in less than 10 minutes. The staff was friendly.

Everything was seasoned well. Really flavorful. The chicken was freshly fried and crispy . It was pretty busy when we went in during lunch time. I also had a melon soda which was good. I'll be going back to try the other menu items! *My BF got the Mandu and he enjoyed it. Not a lot of seating but it's cute inside. Base: Japchae & garlic fried rice. Protein: Korean Fried Chicken bites. Veggies: lettuce, carrots, pickled onion, roasted corn & kimchi slaw. The OT Sauce. Toppings: scallions, crispy garlic, sesame seeds, toasted chili sesame oil, crispy shallots

Lunch - Korean fried chicken bites and stir fry shrimp!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing food, great service, and nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed lunch mid week around 1:30. There was not a line so I believe we chose a good time. It's counter service and the staff was very helpful in explaining our options, since this was our first visit. Very large portions and very tasty.

This place was good! Super filling and a bit expensive but you get your worth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's extremely small and tight so be prepared for that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I showed up just before the lunch rush, it was quick and easy for my first time. I picked grilled chicken, braised beef, garlic fried rice with ot sauce, lettuce, carrots, cucumber and corn. The food was good and I got my moneys worth of food. I was definitely stuffed walking out to there.

After reading the reviews I had to go. It reminds me of a poke bowls. Choose the base- rice, noodles, lettuce. A protein-KFC(Korean fried chicken) shrimp, tofu, braised beef, and grilled chicken. Lots of choices. I got combo rice and noodles with KFC. Then come the veggies-4- I got kimchi, roasted corn, cucumbers, and pickled onions. Sauces next creamy BBq. Korean vinaigrette and a soy tahini. All were good. I also got toasted sesame chili oil for a little kick. The food was really amazing and I'd certainly go back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating area is very small[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and they do have limited drinks. This place has only been opened for 3-4 months and I can't wait to go back PS get the marinated egg!

May not look as appealing but it was yummy! I love building my own plate so this was fun for me. Would come back a second time since they ran out of eggs when I went.

Enjoyed my visit here for happy hour. We ordered the Rib Stack, Hot Honey Wings, Veggie Fried Rice,…read moreHot Honey Chicken Bao Bun, and Crispy Fish Bao Bun. Overall, everything was good. The standout for me was the veggie fried rice. It had great flavor, and I'd honestly come back for that alone. The Snake Wrangler drink was also a favorite. The only downside was the hot honey. It was very light on both the wings and the bao bun, so the flavor didn't come through as much as expected. Service was efficient and attentive. It's a nice, quaint spot with a cozy patio and indoor seating. Still a solid happy hour option, and I'd definitely return.

Try one and they are stone cold but good flavor. I asked Courtney the server if they were meant to be served room temperature (first time having so wasn't Sure). She takes the whole bowl. A nice little bit later my bowl is returned just as my tikka masala queso Is arriving. From the looks of my bowl and the broth it was nuked. Heated in the microwave which was annoying bc I wanted to try these fresh for the first time and also more importantly I ordered them with intentions of eating 2 now and taking the other 3 to go so I could enjoy my queso there. Dumplings can't and shouldn't reheated multiple times over and especially not even once at the restaurant that's serving them. I was honestly just hoping they would have dropped a fresh hot spoon or two of the broth : sauce they were in. Very upsetting for the evening because I was excited to try something new

We started with the Wild Boar Flautas and she ordered the "Damned If You Dew" cocktail which was really good. Service is always good and the atmosphere isn't bad but not unique at the same time. I've always wanted to try this place and finally had the chance to. I went in at 10:30am as soon as they opened. I got the cove platter with the 3 meats. I chose chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, and kalbi. I asked for brown rice instead of white and it came with a side of macaroni salad. The chicken katsu was very well fried. Very crunchy still since I made the trip to work and was able to still enjoy that crunch. The kalbi was okay it was marinated from what I could tell but I wasn't getting too much flavor from the meat. It was tender but it didn't have those grill marks or the char I was looking for. The chicken Teriyaki was a bit on the drier side for me. I was expecting the chicken to be in a sauce but it wasn't. It also didn't have that typical teriyaki flavor. They did put a sauce on the side im not sure what it was. It didn't stick to the chicken and the rice soaked it all up. The macaroni salad was a disappointment it was on the dry side with just egg and maybe a relish of some sort but that was it. I had to add a salt and pepper but still it was dry. The dumplings were the best thing, it comes with a tasty sweet chili sauce. The kimchi appeared to be old and didn't have flavor at all I didn't eat it. Unfortunately I may not be back.

We were greeted promptly with politeness then seater about 10 minutes later. Menus were given to us & we immediately saw the 5 course meal experience. We actually paced ourselves one we saw how big the sizes were. I had the salmon & my husband as the chicken with brown rice. We both had egg drop soup then share the delicious butter cake. Highly recommend when they special, new menu items monthly. Service was quick (even our drinks) & very clean. The Chang's Spicy Chicken was delicious, as usual, and full of flavor. My only disappointment was that the portion seemed smaller than what I normally get when dining in. I also requested it extra spicy, but it really wasn't spicy at all. The chicken lettuce wraps were perfect. I substituted romaine lettuce for iceberg, and the lettuce was fresh, crisp, and not torn or browned at all, which I really appreciated. The crab wontons were crispy and delicious, and the sauce that came with them added great flavor. The key lime pie was also very good, although the portion felt a little small for the price. It came with a sauce on the side that was pretty bland, but I was glad it was separate so I could leave it off. Overall, everything tasted great and I enjoyed the meal. A little more consistency with portion sizes and spice level would have made it a full 5 stars.
