I ordered PF Chang's to-go and overall had a really good experience. I got Chang's Spicy Chicken with brown rice, crab wontons, chicken lettuce wraps with romaine lettuce, and key lime pie. The Chang's Spicy Chicken was delicious, as usual, and full of flavor. My only disappointment was that the portion seemed smaller than what I normally get when dining in. I also requested it extra spicy, but it really wasn't spicy at all. The chicken lettuce wraps were perfect. I substituted romaine lettuce for iceberg, and the lettuce was fresh, crisp, and not torn or browned at all, which I really appreciated. The crab wontons were crispy and delicious, and the sauce that came with them added great flavor. The key lime pie was also very good, although the portion felt a little small for the price. It came with a sauce on the side that was pretty bland, but I was glad it was separate so I could leave it off. Overall, everything tasted great and I enjoyed the meal. A little more consistency with portion sizes and spice level would have made it a full 5 stars. read more

Greeted immediately and seated within just a minute or two and then it goes down hill. After 10 minutes our server came and took our drink order and each piece of the process was slow as hell. Never offered any additional info such as appetizers selection, lunch specials, drinks specials. Finally lunch came and 80% rice and 15% meat and 5% green onions. In the picture it appeared to be green beans to find out they were green onions which was disappointing. Refill on my sweet tea was unsweetened tea which he blamed on a bad batch....lol. Got my ticket and checked out up front. This is my second time to this location and the first time was amazing and this time was less than satisfactory. Honestly, the service was pretty bad. Before I even went, I called to get clarity on when happy hour was. Initially, the person on the phone said that there was no happy hour, to which I responded "at all?" And then he put me on hold to later come back and tell me yes happy hour is from 3-6 M-F. I decide to go, and we were sitting for over 10 minutes before I went to the host to request a server come to our table please. So you can imagine my surprise when we get a server and I ask her about happy hour, and she also responds that there is no happy hour. She goes to the bar to confirm, and comes back to say that she thinks happy hour is only for drinks and only at the bar. Still no clue what the actual happy hour deal is or isn't, but there's a clear lack of uniformity about it amongst the staff. The first thing we ordered was water and cocktails, which the appetizers beat by a LONG time. The crab wontons barely tasted like they had actual crab in them. The chicken of the lettuce wraps was cold. On a more positive note, our entrees (Mongolian beef and firecracker shrimp) were good but also not very hot. The hot and sour soup was amazing. I especially loved the butter cake dessert that came with a scoop of ice cream on top (which we were given plastic to-go forks to eat with).... The service was top top notch. I live in Los Angeles and was visiting Baton Rouge for my nephew's graduation from LSU. Came in with a party of 12 on May 16th . From the minute we stepped in till we left, the hostesses, and especially our waitress. I wish I took her name because she was exceptional. We had one complaint on the burnt tasting appetizer and she cleared that up and brought back a delicious replacement. Never any irritation. Folks in Louisiana are built different. Got to be the most patient, sweet and kind hearted folks on God's green earth. I wish I knew that waitress' name. African American, slim build, very professional. She was patient and so were all the other servers. My gosh, it is now almost two weeks later and I can't get over how wonderful that whole team was. Most of us ended up doing the 2 for $18 but the quality of the food was bland at best. The portions are family style which is great for sharing but the taste and quality were not there. The service was great! We ended up being able to have the happy hour special even though we didn't sit at the bar. The only downside was the time it took to get orders in, and to close out. We hadn't been here in about 7-8 years, but my son was craving Chinese so we decided to go for lunch. We were seated and waited several minutes before anyone paid us any attention. Finally our server came over and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't know this was my section." We placed our order and eventually our food came out. 3 of 4 people in our party had ordered the lunch special and had chosen soup for the appetizer, but it was never brought out so we had to ask for it when our entrees arrived. I ordered a full order of Mongolian beef but what I was served looked like a kid's portion. My mother's entree (lo mein) never arrived and we had to remind the server multiple times about it. When it finally did arrive, it was plain noodles with nothing in it - no veggies, nothing. Just plain whitish noodles. The server had asked my mom if she wanted any protein, and my mom said no. But she DID want the regular lo mein, not just plain noodles. It looked like a package of ramen, to be honest. So in the end, the rest of us shared our meals with my mom so that she'd have something. I feel like the quality of the food at PF Chang's is beginning to sink. Maybe I just shouldn't have gotten the honey chicken, but I used to get it for my kids and wanted the crunchy sweet flavor that I remembered from their food instead of the beefy flavor that I used to get in the Mongolian beef. But what I received is not what I remember from my kids meals. The chicken is not seasoned at all. A bunch of them are fried together, so they are greasy and mushy. There isn't even very much flavor in the honey sauce. The noodles that I unfortunately got as the starch, have very little sauce and they are all torn up like they're the leftover from the bottom of the colander. I would have been disappointed if I paid $12 for a plate and received this- let along the nearly $30 that this plate cost. read more

No idea what has happened to this place. It has been one of our go to favs for years. Went today for lunch and couldn't believe we were eating at the same restaurant. The taste of our my usual meal (Crispy Honey Chicken with Fried Rice) was nothing like it has ever been. I'm not sure if the recipe in general real has changed, (as it was not crispy at all), and f the sauce has changed (tasted almost tasteless), or if it's both. But it was not good at all. The rice was tasteless as well. Even the hubby could tell the difference, and that's saying something! We had placed to go orders, which I cancelled. Wanted nothing else to eat from here. When I tell you that we were disappointed, it's an understatement. Whatever they have changed, they need to immediately change it back! Also, we tried 2 soups (new menu offers teams for lunch) the hot and spicy was okay, the egg drop was not good. It' tasted like a chicken broth based soup. Nothing like a traditional egg drop soup. This is a review for delivery. I ordered Crispy Honey Shrimp Bowl, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings and the GF spicy chicken. When my dumplings arrived, they were split open and seemed to be missing some of the stuffing inside. I accidentally ordered the GF spicy chicken which turned out to be pretty good (really the best thing I got). The honey shrimp wasn't coated in the sauce like it usually is making it really hard to get the right balance of flavors. However, our drinks were so delicious which made us forget just how close together we were all sitting. The staff all had on Chinese peasant shirts with little bows where your buttons would be, it's fairly dark and it was busy. We ordered pepper steak for Julie and Mongolian beef for myself. When it got to the table the food was room temperature, cold. My Mongolian beef was tough also, I had a hard time chewing it. Very little sauce, green onions straight out of the ice box. We told our server, she didn't know if it could be heated up and went to get the manager. He said the could remake it, no thanks, then he brought some sort of chicken, no thanks we will just soldier on we just want you to make sure food comes out hot so you can eat it. Finally we got our meal for free wich wasn't what we wanted either. Finally we tipped the waitress $20 and left. Tasteless, terrible food, undercooked spring rolls. Truly some of the worst Asian food I have ever had. The sauce was thin and just brown, no flavor. The spring rolls were not edible; it was like half raw dough. I honestly don't know how anyone eats here. It's sad when a past favorite restaurant no longer resembles the place that you loved to go. This place is just like that.. it seems that every time I go, they have changed the menu, one of my favorites that I went there specifically to eat after arrival I'm told it's no longer available... it's a bummer. Also shame that for a place that was already date night fancy, and kinda birthday pricy-the last time that I went in there which was very recently for lunch with my best friend, the menu prices are higher than ever! I can NOT believe that these prices literally are at least 20% higher than they previously were. I know this because it was one of my favorite restaurants. I'm personally just not going to pay $75.00 for a lunch out! Certainly not unless it's a special occasion...AND that tab wasn't with any alcohol. I can't just call for take out regularly like I used to at this restaurant so they will lose my business. It'll be few and far between if I visit here. The place looks very nice, they actually redid it inside. Funny too that when I got there it says on the window that they now have an express lunch at the bar. If you DONT get your express lunch in 20 minutes it is free. ASK THEM for the time and it is ONLY at the BAR I was told. The staff wasn't very friendly, our server was ok, but didn't seem to love her job much. I love P.F. Chang's. The crispy green beans are the absolute best! I highly recommend them as an appetizer. They are tempura-battered and come with a delicious spicy dipping sauce. For entrees during this visit, we ordered the crispy honey chicken bowl, the Chang's spicy chicken bowl, and the crispy honey shrimp bowl. All three lunch bowls were very tasty. The crispy honey bowls all came with a lightly battered protein, green onions, and a tangy honey sauce. The spicy chicken bowl came with green onions and a sweet-spicy chili sauce. The amount of spice in this dish is perfect. If you like a dish with a little spice, this one is for you. Service here was great as well as the ambiance. I'm giving this review 4 stars though instead of 5 since the chicken in the spicy chicken bowl was a little overcooked this time and our booth was a little dirty. read more
