Hands down the best croissant I have had in the city. I have never been to France but I would imagine it gives French in Nashville. A very quaint shop. The decor gives Parisian cafe with the mismatched decor. I loved it. The mismatched plates give a country home vibe. The croissant was super buttery and flaky. You order the food and someone brings you the food to the table and he was so sweet. Also they have crafted coffees and lattes. I had lemon meringue, the strawberries and crème, and the almond flavors. I was blown away. Prices were reasonable. There is parking all around. HIGHLY recommend!!

In the short time this café has been open, I've already been twice & I've recommended it to so many friends. It's exactly the kind of bakery this side of town needed. Let's start with parking, easy and stress-free. The garage is free for customers, and there's no annoying QR code or validation process (just park and go). Now, the food: everything I've tried has been great. The menu is simple but covers all the essentials for a breakfast or coffee run, and the prices are very reasonable (in my opinion). A perfectly crispy-yet-soft croissant is just $5. The crepes are a delight (sweet, but not overly sugary). I also love the aesthetic, and the staff is incredibly friendly, always willing to offer suggestions or recommend their favorites. There's plenty of seating, inside or on the patio. Loved the design that takes you to France! Absolutely no complaints & I can't wait to be back!

Stopped in to check out this new French café on the edge of the Gulch, and it did not disappoint. Cooled off with a Greek Freddo (whipped espresso poured over ice -- cold, frothy, strong, exactly what you need in this brutal August heat) and just sat back for a bit. No hustle-bustle, French-speaking clientele at the next table, total "pretend you're in Paris" energy in the middle of Nashville. Ordered the pain au chocolat -- and as a Nashville local who has eaten a genuinely unreasonable number of croissants in this city in the name of research, this is the one. Shatteringly crisp exterior, impossibly buttery layers inside. No notes. Makes sense once you know the Provençal pastry chef trained in prestigious, high-end French restaurants -- we're lucky to have that level of talent here in Nashville. Will recommend to all and be back often. Olala!

A wonderful time to forget the sausage and bacon breakfast. The croissants here are the best.

I heard about Olala Cafe thru an email about Nashville and asked my good friend to meet me there on a day we were hanging out. We went this past Saturday the 27th. Parking is free and both of us found a spot. Inside was super cute with different seating such as soft dining chairs, wicker chairs, small tables and large tables. There was an indoor Eiffel Tower, the French Flag and French wine bottles. They serve the dishes on mismatched China which I loved. I got the Caprese Sandwich which was divine with an Iced latte, and my friend got a lemon meringue croissant and a cinnamon roll croissant to go! (We love to try cinnamon rolls everywhere we go) The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was super clean. There is an outdoor patio that was really cute but it was too hot and humid for me that weekend. I think I saw the owner/chef Alain as he looked like the guy in the picture. I wish I would have said hello now. We will defiantly be back. The croissants were delicious!

We loved our breakfast at Milk and Honey!…read more I've read this place can get very busy and have lengthy waits! Thankfully when we stopped in on a recent weekday morning there was no wait and we were seated in the most perfect spot right away! We chose an outdoor table! The outdoor patio is so nice, even in the Nashville summer heat!! We got there before it was super hot out and the patio kept us super comfortable the whole time!! :) We had a really great waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us make the best decisions for what we were craving!! We started with a couple of drip coffees that came out in adorable cups, on saucers, with spoons, very lovely appearance! Quite delicious! We ordered a fried chicken biscuit sandwich that was served with their home fries and a side of country gravy. This was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend trying their table hot sauce! We loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home!! :) We also ordered the Chicken and waffles. This dish is also served with home fries and a then a side of syrup. This meal was also fantastic!! We had a really great experience at Milk and Honey and would highly recommend for someone looking for not just a good meal, but an entire lovely breakfast experience! :) Don't forget to check out their gift shop and bakery treats to go, on your way out!!

(We had other dinner plans in a few hrs) we got the ricotta/honey bread, the honey butter biscuits and a Bloody Mary. Ricotta/honey: everyone raves about this but we thought it was boring. Ricotta was cold but the bread was warm. No flavor. Added salt and pepper just for something. It gives me ideas of something better to make some day do for that I'm Grateful. Biscuits: husband and friends loved them!! Could have used more butter but still good. Bloody Mary- YEEEESSS!! It was perfect. Our friend got the hot chicken and he loved it. I had 1 bite and it was definitely hot!! And yes- very good. All in all, a good different brunch place for an out of towner. Nothing amazing that I will come back for. Great customer service!

I'd still consider going back since they're open fairly late, which I really appreciate. There's a small parking lot next to the shop, which is convenient. Cafe intermezzo falls into our lap. Unbelievable find. An oasis in the desert. Door opens a happy lady comes out with her friends and sees us looking at menu, she says "Go here. You will love it". She described a few dishes. Loved the French toast and Turkish coffee. Not sure but loving her passionate suggestion we went in. It was like walking into a cafe in Zurich Paris or Rome. Server was professional neat and polite. Menu was extensive. The classy wood paneling and nice tables were memorable. I ordered a crepe Florentine. It was savory type. It was amazing. My daughter ordered a more traditional sandwich and salad. She loved it too. There was breakfast lunch and dinner selections. Great desserts on display and being served table-side. My waiter, Ju'ann, arrived quickly. He was also friendly. I was delighted to see that they serve breakfast all day. It's hard to get eggs just the way I like them. But they did it! Perfectly...just between over medium and over hard. They were gracious about replacing my bacon. I requested soft and they brought crispy. The rosemary potatoes were excellent. They had just a little red pepper sautéed in. Loved that. I am a big fan of strawberry jam and theirs is excellent. I was disappointed that they only give me slice of toast with the breakfast. That's silly! Just give two slices. Lovely decor. Lots of dark wood. I'd definitely return!
