Stopped in for lunch with my family. There is plenty of parking. We waited in line to be seated. It felt short staffed. We were asked "booth or table." We opted for table. Of the several available we were given one that upon, my son getting out to go to the restroom after ordering, we found that seat was ripped and the seat itself no longer attached to the base so it jumped when someone moved. By then, with how many folks had come in, there wasn't an option to move. Three of us got their three-fer special that was salad, entree and dessert. My son got a burger and tots. I chose to get the garden salad with ranch, a calzone with pepperoni and jalapeno and the Cookizza slices, which was half a regular cookie. The salad was fresh and the ranch was tasty. I liked my calzone and took half home for lunch the next day. For me, the Cookizza half a cookie was plenty. My daughter and husband both upgraded to the whole cookie. I ordered steamed broccoli for my toddler and they served us what seemed like broccoli in a shallow dish with water and was microwaved, barely cooked all the way through. Then there was my calzone, I order one with chicken, black olives and pineapple. Half of the calzone consisted of dough, most of it raw still. Then the chicken was charred and burnt in areas, leaving a very unsatisfying burnt taste in your mouth and the pineapple was pale and soft. Went Old Chicago memorial Day set in a booth close to the patio door by the back bar in the back booth there was a table of three young kids I believed belonged to somebody working they had full access of the limes the lemons the orange slices in the back bar full access to the soda fountain back there the gun I didn't think it was very appropriate that the kids were putting their hands in the lemons limes and oranges bare hands do better they were handling and going and using their same cup to refill soda with the soda gun it's just not a place for kids It look like somebody was totally short of a babysitter was not happy with the food especially the nachos I don't know what kind of nachos they were but I ain't never seen anything like it It looked like they put white queso on it I don't know what it was but for $15 No absolutely not Do better read more

I ordered my food to be ready at noon. I stood at the hostess desk for 15 minutes waiting on someone to help me. All the while the bartender and waitresses would just glance over at me but never came to help. In came two other couples waiting to be seated. We all waited 5 more minutes. Stopped in today for a lunch date with a beautiful woman. It was a romantic situation and very important to me. Our server realized we were a female same sex couple and treated us extremely well. She was friendly, outgoing and our glasses were never dry. I wish I had kept the receipt so I'd be able to post her name as she was really quite exceptional. Initially ordered a garden burger but, boooooo hisss, they discontinued them. I hope they change their minds as a meatless burger patty is really important to many of us. Instead, I ordered a veggie hand tossed pizza and and was superb. Well cooked, fresh veggies and excellent crust. Even my side salad with ranch solid and not just a plate of arugula which I really can't stand. The restaurant was clean and tidy and had plenty of private parking. Stopped in on Tuesday night we waited to be seated at the hostess station for 5 minutes until the bar tender told us to set are self the waitress came over took order our brought out our salad 45 minutes later our pizza came out. We have tried Old Chicago a few more times since my last review and I would have to say I would really need to be hungry with no other close place to go to give it another try. The pizza is ok for overpriced pizza and their dry rub wings used to be my favorite. This last time topped it off though. The wings came out and looked uncooked or maybe smoked. We asked the manager and he stated they were not smoked and he would credit our ticket. We told him no problem, could he just put them in the microwave for a few. He stated let's see what we can do for you and took the wings. He came back and stated he had wiped the sauce off and put them back in the fryer. Ewe, who does that. I was so excited when my husband said we were going out for dinner that I weed whacked the yard, got a bath, ate too many cookies and took a nap. I woke up ready to go! Though a little bit full from eating too many cookies - COVID problems. I really liked how they blocked off about 15 parking spots, put a table on each one and offset them front to back - because they have a separate parking lot in the middle of nowhere they can do that! The food was pretty good, my hubs pizza was better than my artichoke dip. I don't know what was going on- usually I'm a huge fan of all things artichoke. But they did have a very nice assortment of cucumbers, carrots, celery, chips, and toasted garlic bread that went with the dip- so I was still pleased with my "meal." I did get a margarita that came on a biodegradable cup, with salt on the edge. I liked the margarita-nothing fancy. I think that sums up our whole experience- we liked our food. I just moved to the area and wanted to give old Chicago a try. It turned out to be one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. The sun dried tomatoes were so burnt it tasted like what I would expect the things that fall to the bottom of the grill would taste like. Charcoal and dusty. Cheese was missing on over half of the slices. I called to give them the chance to refund my order before leaving an honest review and picture. They put me on hold to talk to a manger but I hung up after waiting for 10 minutes. I ate one slice and had to throw the rest away as it was not edible and just went to bed hungry. Woke up the next morning with bathroom problems. Overall this was a bad experience because of poor quality pizza, customer service and way overpriced for $45 for a large pizza and bites. This restaurant is right in a main shopping area, but still has the neighborhood tavern feel. In fact, while eating here, we sat next to a table of regulars. You could tell by the fact that the waitresses/bartenders all knew them, gave them hugs, etc. If that didn't give it away, the fact that they had the pewter mugs of Beer Tour connoisseurs helped. The beer was plentiful, with almost anyone being able to find something to their taste. The hand-tossed crust on my Meat Lover's pizza was great and the food was pretty satisfying. I never have a bad experience at any Old Chicago's and this is true here as well. I don't live near, so coming back is going to be challenging, but if circumstances allow it, I'll try. read more

So we enjoy Old Chicago and our son loves the twisted Chicken. What a difference timing makes at this location in Brighton CO. We were there at 11am on a Saturday and the following Saturday at 2pm. The first Saturday the service and food were as expected. The second Saturday was not only terrible on the service side but the Twisted Chicken was sub par to say the very least. When I asked the server about the twisted Chicken for $10.99 which was 2.5 pieces of chicken and usually it's 5 to 6 pieces his response was "I don't know I just run the food". I asked for the manager - twice and she quickly apologized and agreed that the Chicken was less than the normal amount. She was very accommodating and said the server should not have responded in that fashion. In all honestly - this location was extremely short staffed and they were all a little overwhelmed. Our son "said mom why do you care this is how everything is today. People don't care all they want to do is collect a pay check". He said "tip based on the service" and my husband said minus the "COVID" up-charge from the tip. The prices are through the roof and most restaurants have not only increased their prices but also have the "new" service fees claiming it's because they have to pass the increases on to the patrons. Do not go here if you are hungry. 2 to go orders in 2 months, mid week dinners. Both times waited over an hour to get the wrong order and ended up going to a second restaurant to get my dinner because the orders were so badly messed up. They give me the wrong salad, and even then it's missing the grilled chcicked that's supposed to be on both salads. I eat out most nights traveling for work. This is the slowest and worst organized place I've been to in a year in 4 states. Usually get dinner here once a month when I want something unique to Old C's. The menu is great. At this location Staff needs training. Managers need training. Kitchen is full of people but takes an hour to get a salad. And like most places after Covid it's understaffed. People wait out side for 30 minutes while there are unstaffed sections with empty clean tables and no servers. They could at least have people wait at the bar with drinks. Take out orders usually get messed up. And takes over an hour to get food. Actually waited 90 minutes tonight to get the wrong order on a Wednesday night. To get appetizers to go. Only go here if you have plenty of time. Hope they get more organized. Online experience needs improvement. They say 30 minutes for food. Takes 90 minutes. And they don't give Text notifications like most places do. So if you want to get told your food will be ready in 15 minutes like 6 or 7 times and then wait 90 minutes from order to in hand. Go here. And I watch door dash orders go in and out while waiting for the food I ordered 90 minutes ago. Really organized! Why it takes 90 minutes for appetizer and a salad I don't know. Can't give 3 stars. Background: I worked in food for 5+ years Wait time on a Sunday lunch was 15-20min, not crazy. We got seated and already had our orders ready because we were hungry. Seated at 1pm, we got our food at 1:45-1:50pm. 4 of us, we ordered a LG pizza, a personal pizza, a cauliflower pizza, and a salad. 45 min for that, which is honestly ridiculous. It wasn't a busy day, and we didn't even get an apology or anything for the food taking so long. At 35min we asked our server how much much longer and she came back and said it would be about 3 min. Well it wasn't 3 minutes lol. The pizza was average, not bad not spectacular. The salad we got was really great; the spinach and chicken one. We were seated outside because we were traveling with our dog, and waitstaff was very accommodating. The patio was clean and the tables had large umbrellas so our late lunch was pleasant. I had a nice chopped salad, and the rest of my family had wings, chicken strips, and a really large burger. We came in and ordered Tuscan pizza with no chicken. Apparently the kitchen made a mistake and put chicken on it. When the mistake was discovered the manager came out and informed us, offered the mistake pizza, and assured us that the corrected pizza was in the oven. The chef then came out with the correct order, apologized and wanting to know if there was anything else they could do for us. The bartender offered a side to hold me over until the pizza was ready knowing how hungry I was. The manger then came back with a gift card to apply to the tab. I could not have been more pleased with the way this tram recovered. They corrected the issue before I even had a chance to be upset. What an amazing team they have.
