I've visited Copper Rail a few times, mainly because my bf loves it. It is not a place I'd choose on my own however. The main attraction seems to be the all-you-can-eat pizza buffet on Tuesday nights, which some day, I hope to try it. Unfortunately, their regular menu is "the standard". The bar food offerings are basic at best--warm appetizers often arrive cold, the burgers lack flavor, and their beverage menu is hit or miss. I was especially surprised to find that they don't serve brandy, which feels like a slight omission for a well stocked bar. That said, I am one to always give second (maybe third and fourth) chances so on our recent visit, I ordered the Southwestern Steak Sandwich and it was a pleasant surprise--the sirloin was authentic (aka good cuts, not gristle) and cooked to my specifications (medium). The ancho chipotle sauce has a nice flavor which also pairs well with the house salad. So kudos to the waitress for allowing me to order a sampling of dressings for it (the salad). I am not converted just yet but will try for another visit and the pizza buffet. We all have goals in life, right?

We stopped by to catch the end of a football game. It was a very enjoyable experience. Our server Amaya was very cheerful and attentive. I had the fiesta steak salad. It was delicious. My husband had the green chili fries. The green chili was very flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Definitely coming here again if we're in the area.

Over all the food was good. Nice big place with lots of tables. Can be a little loud but that is expected in a bar and grill. Chicken Fried Steak was a 6 out of 10 though. It was all premade stuff and didn't come out hot. Hence 4 starts and not 5. Next time I want the pizza because it looked amazing. The service was great, refills and anything else we needed we got in a timely manner.

Great location with fun ambiance and great service! Our server Lauren was very sweet and super attentive. Prices were great as well. The alcohol prices are really good and there is a wide selection of beers, wine, and signature cocktails. The Passion Punch was yummy and the Green Tea Shots are amazing!! The food is so-so. Definitely glorified bar food but they do have a large menu with a lot of variety. The Mac & Cheese Bites are absolutely to die for and their pizza is delicious. I got the Ruben sandwich which as not very good. The meat in the sandwich was very tough and chewy and so the sandwich was pretty much inedible. I only ate half and then had some of my husband pizza instead. The fries that came with the sandwich were under cooked and very under salted. The salsa that came with the chips and salsa basket was very bland but the chips were fresh and yummy.

Recently had an opportunity to try lunch/brunch at Copper Rail for a friends birthday. The group got a mix of brunch and lunch food options. Tried chicken and waffles, mama bs burrito, steak and eggs, Mexican pizza, rail burger and more. We enjoyed our time at Copper Rail, service did well for a group our size and managed our checks nicely. We enjoyed the music being played and even had some goes with the fun machines in the back. Overall not a bad option when in Brighton!

Had a horrible experience tonight with take out. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 burger. We did not receive au jus with our French dip, our burger was well done when we asked for medium rare. We also found a hair in the French dip and another whole hair in the chili cheese fries that accompanied one of the sandwiches. We actually had to GO BACK to the restaurant to pick up au jus and the correct fries for the French dip(we ordered chili cheese fries and got regular). Upon returning to the restaurant for the correct fries & aujus, we were given regular fries with a side of cheese and side of chili, and was told to make the fries at home ourselves. THIS PLACE IS A FUCKING JOKE. IT IS DISGUSTING AND THE COOK IS HORRIBLE. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE, AND WILL TELL EVERYONE WE CAN NOT TO GO HERE.

If you are in Brighton and need that ol' fashioned bar & grill vibe, this place certainly has it! It's a little tucked away from the main drag of the city, but that doesn't stop this place from being jam packed with locals and stopper-bys all the same. They even have a small arcade with a few over the top shooters for you to get your game on. As you all know, a goblin always has time to get his game on. Do reccomend the Buck Hunter Unloaded. That game lost its marbles and that's a good thing. Like Red Neck Terminator.

This is a fairly large restaurant/bar. Visited during lunchtime, the restaurant was very busy. My husband and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. We sat at a high top in the bar area. We shared a hamburger and had a few drinks. Our waitress was wonderful, she was very busy but handle it with a smile. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

    Cuban sandwich (meager and bland)

The service was very friendly. The hostess and our waitress were timely and accommodating. The food was bland. The Cuban sandwich was meager and lackluster. As well as the potato salad and side salad. Dessert was similarly dull. The restaurant interior was superb, a proper bar and grill. Everything seemed cleaned and well maintained. For all intents and purposes this establishment has everything it needs to be stellar. But the bottom line is the flavor lacked and the low quality of Ingredients took away from the experience. I understand there are rising costs for ingredients, perhaps a smaller menu would help with overhead costs and allow for better ingredients. Eating out does not need to be fancy, it needs to be memorable.

A Denver Gem: State House (Commerce City) If you find…read moreyourself near the northern edge of Denver, State House in Commerce City is an absolute must-visit. It has that perfect "rustic-chic" Colorado vibe--warm, wood-accented, and welcoming--making it just as good for a casual lunch as it is for a weekend dinner. The Burger Battle * Bison Burger: This was the star of the show. It's lean but incredibly juicy, with a deep, rich flavor that puts standard beef to shame. * Pro Tip: Pairing it with the tomato bisque instead of fries was a game-changer. The soup was creamy, vibrant, and had a slight sweetness that cut through the richness of the bison perfectly. * Pub Burger: A classic done right. Two patties, perfectly seared, with a side dijonnaise that adds just the right amount of kick. It's everything a pub burger should be--messy in the best way possible. The side garden salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp, providing a nice light balance to the heavy-hitter burger. The Atmosphere & Service The space is beautiful--modern design meets local charm. We were particularly impressed by the service; the staff was attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they take pride in the locally sourced ingredients they're serving. The Verdict Whether you're a fan of wild game like the bison or you just want a solid, high-quality cheeseburger, State House hits the mark. It's rare to find a place where the "side" soup is just as memorable as the main course, but that tomato bisque is worth the trip alone. I'll definitely be back for another round of that bison burger!

Of the several available we were given one that upon, my son getting out to go to the restroom after ordering, we found that seat was ripped and the seat itself no longer attached to the base so it jumped when someone moved. By then, with how many folks had come in, there wasn't an option to move. Three of us got their three-fer special that was salad, entree and dessert. My son got a burger and tots. I chose to get the garden salad with ranch, a calzone with pepperoni and jalapeno and the Cookizza slices, which was half a regular cookie. The salad was fresh and the ranch was tasty. I liked my calzone and took half home for lunch the next day. For me, the Cookizza half a cookie was plenty. My daughter and husband both upgraded to the whole cookie. Overall an ok experience.

I ordered steamed broccoli for my toddler and they served us what seemed like broccoli in a shallow dish with water and was microwaved, barely cooked all the way through. Then the chicken was charred and burnt in areas, leaving a very unsatisfying burnt taste in your mouth and the pineapple was pale and soft. Old Chicago has gone downhill; I gave this location a chance and I will NEVER go back. To ANY Old Chicago. Gross food, and the lack of cleanliness in the dining room was also unappetizing.
