Walk in and see the bar. No seats? They will seat you once a table is ready. Wait staff is quick to engage and get your order started. Water and drinks come quick and your food order is on its way. Food is good, atmosphere is lively and friendly. Plenty of TVs to watch the game and there are some fun video games to play along the far wall. Prices are fair and if you can, pay and tip in cash. I've visited Copper Rail a few times, mainly because my bf loves it. It is not a place I'd choose on my own however. The main attraction seems to be the all-you-can-eat pizza buffet on Tuesday nights, which some day, I hope to try it. Unfortunately, their regular menu is "the standard". The bar food offerings are basic at best--warm appetizers often arrive cold, the burgers lack flavor, and their beverage menu is hit or miss. I was especially surprised to find that they don't serve brandy, which feels like a slight omission for a well stocked bar. That said, I am one to always give second (maybe third and fourth) chances so on our recent visit, I ordered the Southwestern Steak Sandwich and it was a pleasant surprise--the sirloin was authentic (aka good cuts, not gristle) and cooked to my specifications (medium). The ancho chipotle sauce has a nice flavor which also pairs well with the house salad. So kudos to the waitress for allowing me to order a sampling of dressings for it (the salad). I am not converted just yet but will try for another visit and the pizza buffet. We all have goals in life, right? read more

We stopped by to catch the end of a football game. It was a very enjoyable experience. Our server Amaya was very cheerful and attentive. I had the fiesta steak salad. It was delicious. My husband had the green chili fries. The green chili was very flavorful and had a nice kick to it. Definitely coming here again if we're in the area. read more

Over all the food was good. Nice big place with lots of tables. Can be a little loud but that is expected in a bar and grill. Chicken Fried Steak was a 6 out of 10 though. It was all premade stuff and didn't come out hot. Hence 4 starts and not 5. Next time I want the pizza because it looked amazing. Been here before for just drinks and it is what it is... a divey bar with mediocre food. We recently came back on a Sunday afternoon when it was pretty slow and I say that because that's when you expect decent service... but that's always when it's bad for some reason. Great location with fun ambiance and great service! Our server Lauren was very sweet and super attentive. Prices were great as well. The alcohol prices are really good and there is a wide selection of beers, wine, and signature cocktails. The Passion Punch was yummy and the Green Tea Shots are amazing!! The food is so-so. Definitely glorified bar food but they do have a large menu with a lot of variety. The Mac & Cheese Bites are absolutely to die for and their pizza is delicious. Recently had an opportunity to try lunch/brunch at Copper Rail for a friends birthday. The group got a mix of brunch and lunch food options. Tried chicken and waffles, mama bs burrito, steak and eggs, Mexican pizza, rail burger and more. We enjoyed our time at Copper Rail, service did well for a group our size and managed our checks nicely. We enjoyed the music being played and even had some goes with the fun machines in the back. Had a horrible experience tonight with take out. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 burger. We did not receive au jus with our French dip, our burger was well done when we asked for medium rare. We also found a hair in the French dip and another whole hair in the chili cheese fries that accompanied one of the sandwiches. We actually had to GO BACK to the restaurant to pick up au jus and the correct fries for the French dip(we ordered chili cheese fries and got regular). Upon returning to the restaurant for the correct fries & aujus, we were given regular fries with a side of cheese and side of chili, and was told to make the fries at home ourselves. This was my first and last time to Copper Rail Bar & Grill. The food was horrible. The corned beef on the Rueben sandwich was tougher than leather. I couldn't bite it and tried to use a knife and fork but the meat would not cut. I ate about 1/8 of the sandwich because that was all I could get down. If you are in Brighton and need that ol' fashioned bar & grill vibe, this place certainly has it! It's a little tucked away from the main drag of the city, but that doesn't stop this place from being jam packed with locals and stopper-bys all the same. They even have a small arcade with a few over the top shooters for you to get your game on. As you all know, a goblin always has time to get his game on. Do reccomend the Buck Hunter Unloaded. First the food was pretty good, the issue really was in getting the food to our table. Ordered nachos with beef, 30 min, the were delivered cold. Ordered hamburgers with mushrooms, came with grilled onions the cherry on top was Ordered the wedge salad, which came 30 min after the hamburgers, got it to go because the party that ordered it was upset. This is a fairly large restaurant/bar. Visited during lunchtime, the restaurant was very busy. My husband and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. We sat at a high top in the bar area. As well as the potato salad and side salad. Dessert was similarly dull. The restaurant interior was superb, a proper bar and grill. Everything seemed cleaned and well maintained. For all intents and purposes this establishment has everything it needs to be stellar. But the bottom line is the flavor lacked and the low quality of Ingredients took away from the experience. I understand there are rising costs for ingredients, perhaps a smaller menu would help with overhead costs and allow for better ingredients. Stopped in for a nice cold Guinness after a long flight, the bar tender recommend the quesadillas- swap the sirloin in for the chicken - it was absolutely outstanding. I wish I had read these reviews before going. They are correct. It is OK. I ordered the tacos. So underwhelming!! No spice no flavor. The sides are tiny, so tiny they put them in sauce plastic bowls. Yup, they are in the size of a serving of Ranch dressing. Which is probably for the good since they are tasteless. I didn't even eat the black beans because they were straight out of a can. They didn't even try to doctor them up. The chicken in my tacos was so dry and just plain yuck. My husbands fish was large but it was so dry, definitely overcooked. The fries were a tiny portion and ok. Nothing special. No seasoning no spices NOTHING. Ugh. The Chipotle Pasta was better. Finally tried Copper Rail after hearing about it from friends. Not a bad spot to watch college football. They have a lot games and pool tables so I would like to go back for that. They have your average pub food but their specialty is the brick oven pizza. The spicy Hawaiian is perfect. Jalapeños on a Hawaiian pizza. Good call! Order event size appetizers to have an easy party! The food is reasonable. Great hamburgers, Ruben and Philly cheese steak. Salads were a nice size for the price. The shrimp carbonara was not my favorite. There was a shrimp boil taste and powder on the noodles... didn't seem right with carbonara. This is a place to get cheap beer, bad food, watch a game and yell at things, and let the kids run around. We had some appetizers like fried mushrooms and onion rings and fries -- all reminiscent of what you get at the neighborhood bowling alley. Seriously. Dumped out of a bag and fried into oblivion. Kari was my server. I asked her for recommendations and I ended up with the Bronco salad. I ordered it special, no tomatoes no celery and all iceberg lettuce. The salad came out exactly the way I wanted it, and was very delicious. I ordered the sesame dressing to start with and I tried the lime cilantro, the sesame was by far my favorite. Service was great. The staff was wearing masks and I didn't see a single one of them playing with their mask so kudos for that!! The only interesting thing I found on my visit there, was the bathrooms had stalls closed for social distancing, but they had 2 stalls next to each other open and then and every other and they had the handicap stall closed, which that could lead them to some serious trouble. I legit ate a medium rare beef burger. If you don't have bison just don't even bother offering it. The green chili fries were so watered down, the fries were moist with no flavor.
