Had a group of 9 and no reservation on a Saturday and Old Chicago was very nice and found us a table very quickly. Once sat server was over almost immediately and the restaurant was very busy. My drink was delicious but very sweet. We opted for some appetizers and not pictured chicken strips and ranch. Most my friends are big ranch fans and swears Old Chicago has the best ranch. This is a great spot for groups! Good food and drinks!

Unreal, went there in January 31st around 845 pm Service was slowly than the police response to the a shooting on Martin Luther King BLVD in any city. On top of that we get our food to go after it took over an hour to get a pizza and spindip. Next day we finally get to eat our left overs and we both find long gross hairs in our food baked into the pizza and the dip. We are bald... Yall need to tell whatever fat back hairy sunbich in the kitchen to wear a freaking hair net. Service sucked food sucked wont go back for awhile.

Old Chicago never seems to disappoint. Our waitress was awesome and came right when she noticed anything we needed. I got the best sour beer that i believe was an apricot sour beer it was fire. I got a chicken bacon ranch individual pizza which was flatbread it was bomb. I also got the buffalo wings no bone, those are delicious per usual. My co worker got spaghetti and meatballs he said it hide a little bit of heat to it. This was the best Old Chicago I have ever been to it had a pool table and bubble hockey. Yah just can't go wrong

My first time trying old Chicago. Th pizza buns have to have been the best I have ever had. The nachos were very unique as in the chips were like a hybrid of crispy and soft shell. The sauce was a little bit on the spicy side.

This place was the first stop on our weekend get-away to Duluth Canal Park. We were extremely hungry, so this was a test. We were seated almost immediately in the dining area and the server was Jonny on the spot. Our drink order was taken and served very quickly. I decided to stick to the basic burger. The prep time was under 15 minutes, and everything was served hot. The hamburger had very good flavor and fries were tasty. The place had plenty of TVs and the atmosphere was inviting. We revisited this place a couple days later and it was packed! We waited about 15 minutes for a table. I decided to venture a bit deeper into the menu and ordered the Mac & Cheese w/Chicken. Stick to the burger menu! This menu item lowered the rating! Still a good place for a burger and FF as you catch a sporting event on the many televisions.

100% recommended. The stack sodas were really good. I had the Hawaiian one it was amazing!!

Came to Duluth late in the evening and ordered delivery. First time I checked, it would be delivered by 10:04. By the time it arrived it was 11:04. Asked for 3 forks and knives, none were provided and neither were napkins. Thankfully the hotel was great to find some for us. We ordered a calzone, spinach salad and spaghetti with meatballs as well. Calzone was warm, lots of breading but good filling and sauce. Spaghetti purchaser said sauce was just ok. Salad was good size. The whole order would've been better with an accurate time of delivery as stated when we ordered -- 10:04. The time of delivery changed at least 3 times after that. Although delivery was through Uber, it reflects back to the business ultimately.

Got a deep dish pizza. While the toppings were tasty, the crust was soggy and undercooked.

We came here for lunch. My son had the chicken tender's appetizer (not pictured), my husband had Chicago 7 calzone with fried pickles, and I had the Chi Trio appetizer. The chicken tenders were over cooked a little so the breading had several hard parts to it. Son gave it a a rating of 5/10. The calzone was half bread and but once through all the bread, it was delicious. The fried pickles were AMAZING! The Trio appetizer was good. Mozzarella sticks weren't very warm. The rest was good. The biggest complaint would be that they water down the ranch to the extreme so it's like water instead of a creamy dressing with substance. The waitress was attentive and great! Would visit again.

CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS Sweet and spicy soy glaze with sautéed red peppers and scallions. These were a little too heavy on the sauce for my liking, but otherwise very good. If you're not a fan of sweeter flavors, this one may not be for you. BUFFALO MAC & CHEESE Cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy mac sauce, topped with crispy buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and onion straws. We added bacon and chicken, and this was a top pick for us! The buffalo sauce had the perfect balance--not overly spicy, but enough flavor to complement the creamy mac and cheese. CPB CO. FISH AND CHIPS Craft beer-battered haddock served with Northcoaster fries and house-made tartar sauce. Another top pick for us! The fish was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly fried. Honestly, one of the best fried fish dishes I've had in Minnesota. Unfortunately, I can't report on the beer as I'm not a big drinker...Sorry! Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, welcoming service, and plenty of variety. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Duluth!

The beer selection was a little smaller than we expected, but there was still a nice variety of styles, so everyone in our group found something they enjoyed. They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails. The food menu was surprisingly large with lots of unique and fun options to try. The only small downside was that the Brussels sprouts were still a little undercooked for our taste, but everything else was excellent and more than made up for it. Excellent brisket, fish n chips, and build your own burger! The garlic aioli and IPA mustard sauces were definitely memorable. Overall, it's a great spot for good food, craft beer, and a fun atmosphere located right on the pier. We'd definitely come back!

Delicious poutine, with oozy gooey squeaky cheese curds. I had the smoked fish salad; it had the right amounts of everything and felt like a distinctly Duluth dish. My husband had the fish and chips. I had a bite of his fish, and it was perfect, with great batter and flavor. I would happily come here again on a visit. I can see why this is a city institution.

When we arrived a bit after 7PM, we had quite some trouble finding parking and ended up having to park a couple of blocks away after circling for 20 minutes. Walking in, the place wasn't too busy, perhaps 50% capacity. We were interested in ordering the fried cheese curds, but the server told us they weren't battered in house, so we passed on them. Smoked Fish Salad (Market Price, $18.99) - This is a pretty salad - all ingredients are arranged in rows along the dish. Mixing things together is a bit of a pain, but I appreciate the dressing on the side to add to preference. The dressing is an interesting blend of mayo and other ingredients, perhaps BBQ sauce, that make it slightly tangy and very sweet. There's an undertone of smokiness throughout, which tastes somewhat like liquid smoke rather than the dressing actually being smoked. It is on the sweeter side of dressings. Other than greens, there's a row of wild rice, dark and snappy, completely broken cultivated rice. There's also a bit of house smoked trout, nice and smoky. (4/5) Classic Wild Rice Burger ($16.99) - This is one of the tallest burgers I've seen in quite a while, mostly due to the inclusion of fresh vegetables including onion and tomato, and alfalfa sprouts. For some reason instead of using larger tomatoes, they use small roma tomatoes, including three small slices. They also used red onion that's chopped into a variety of different shapes instead of whole slices. It's really strange - I guess this saves on cost? Unfortunately smaller pieces means things fall out while eating. The patty is larger than the bun. It has plenty of broken wild rice bits giving some additional crunch and that signature wild rice taste. It's charred on the griddle well and it keeps its structure, not falling apart or becoming mushy at any point. I love how it's distinctively a rice burger and doesn't try to be a meat substitute. Two slices of American cheese are melted on top that gives some fattiness to the dish. The bun is toasted without butter and there's a flavorful garlic mayo spread on the top. It would be nice if they had also applied the sauce to the bottom bun as I found the patty to not have enough moisture or fat incorporated. The burger comes with some thin commercial fries. There aren't any issues with the level of fry and they are otherwise unremarkable. (4/5) Fitger's Brewhouse serves some solid good old fashioned Midwestern American food. Not much else to say. Bathrooms - Larger ones shared with the rest of the business in the building Food: [4/5] Service: [ ] Other: [ ] Final Rating: 4/5

Looking past the nightmare parking (which isn't their fault) our group of eight was promptly seated and our server greeted us and took our order. We got our beverages quickly and no issues there, the server was polite and courteous and smiling and we thought everything was fine. Half an hour passed, no food at all. Okay I look around maybe they're busy, nope only saw two other tables and maybe 4-5 people in the bar. So we continued to wait. An hour passes no food but the server checked in once or twice and got us water refills. After about an hour and 15 minutes I walked by the kitchen (trying to find our server) and the servers were all in the kitchen playing on their phones and appeared to just be chatting. A few minutes later we approached the hostess to ask why it's been over an hour and 15 minutes and no food. Just like magic the food came out a few minutes after we inquired. So the food overall was (mostly) okay. The pizza no issues, a couple other dishes no issues but the stir fry ingredients were poor quality (barely any rice, the woody end of the asparagus you usually throw out instead they put in the stir fry) also one of the pizza's was a size smaller than we ordered and the boneless wings were basically in the biggest pool of sauce like it was way too much sauce and because the insane amount of sauce (like almost the chicken was floating in it) it was way too salty and unable to eat it. We ate our what we could of our food and tipped and left and all agreed it was not a good choice of place to eat and would never go back. Worth noting one last thing.... About 20-25 minutes after we arrived a table of 4 people sat next to us and ordered shortly after they arrived. We were there for roughly an hour and 40 minutes total and when we left that table still hadn't gotten their food either. On the positive side, the server was polite and the pizza was decent. AVOID this particular Green Mill location unless you want to wait over an hour and 15 minutes to get your food.
