    CHICKEN NACHOS GRANDE

We had a larger group (10 people) so it was good that we called ahead and made arrangements. The staff was very appreciative. Our waitress was friendly but getting a larger order took more time. Drinks came in a couple of waves and food took a bit of time. I get the juggling with the many needs of a large group so I didn't mind the wait. I split their new menu item, Nachos Grande, with a friend. I was underwhelmed with this entree. While the portion size was large, it was mostly chips and the large bowl of salsa in the middle. The toppings of roasted chicken, shredded cheese, diced onions, black beans, and pickled jalapeños were sparse and only sprinkled on the top layer. I prefer a better topping to chip ratio in my nachos and the only thing grande in this dish was the pizza pan it came in.

We found Chicago in Colorado! It's a fun, Chicago-themed bar/restaurant. Really nice staff, quick service, fresh, cold beer on tap to go with juicy, flavorful hot wings, and perfectly crunchy thin-crust pizza. You can order Chicago and Detroit style pizzas, but we were feeling thin crust. Great prices too. Nice, safe location, but also it's Colorado so it's kinda safe everywhere, lol. We'd definitely come back, especially when the upstairs outdoor patio is open. Update: We ended up coming back the next night after our concert at Red Rocks, and the pizza was just as good if not better! Same server in the bar booths, too. Really nice guy.

This was one of the best pizza's I have ever had! We had the tossed crust with Pepperoni and sausage n mushrooms! The crust is made with beer that's why I think it's SO delicious! The sausage tastes almost like it's homemade it's that good! The chicken wings were just as delicious, they were cooked to perfection and served with carrots, celery, ranch dressing and blue cheese! Just wonderfully delicious! The drinks were also good! We like this place SO much we had dinner there on Saturday night and linner on Sunday just before we left for the airport back to Cali! All in all I will definitely be back if I'm ever in this area! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a GOOD pizza and wings!

This still has to be my favorite old Chicago. This place is clean, fun, and has a good lunch time deal. Plus, Morgan and Mya works there in the bar. Sometime a go they change the recipe of the crust, wasn't very fond of it. The best pizza is served at lunch time because it's cooked on the particular pan which makes the pizza crust super crunchy. We ordered a couple of large pizzas to go a couple of weeks ago and wasn't fond of the crust at all but what they have for lunch the same crust as the individual size pizza and it is top notch. I WOULD recommend going for lunch and having either the Chicago seven or the meat me.

Loved my experience here!! Came here for the three-fer deal and ended up also trying the new buffalo chicken rolls and the new wing flavors!! Everything was soooo good! Do NOT skip out on the buffalo chicken rolls! You also cannot beat a three course meal for only $10.99!!

Enjoyed a nice breakfast.... All week long.... Food and service here has always been pretty good.read more

I decided to give the Insider Bar & Grill inside the Holiday Inn a try mainly out of convenience…read moresince I was staying at the hotel. The restaurant was pretty empty, which I honestly didn't mind or find too surprising. I will say that the server was very friendly, helpful, and attentive, so my experience had nothing to do with the service. Unfortunately, the food itself was a different story. I ordered the potato skins as an appetizer, followed by the 8 oz. sirloin steak with seasoned vegetables and mac and cheese. The steak was easily the best part of the meal. I ordered it rare, and they actually cooked it correctly. I'm not normally a huge fan of sirloin, but with some chimichurri on the side for extra flavor, it was decent and probably the one part of the meal I didn't have much to complain about. The seasoned vegetables, however, were disappointing. There seemed to be some kind of herb or seasoning blend with seeds mixed throughout them, but somehow the vegetables were still very bland. I actually had to add salt just to give them some flavor. Honestly, I would have preferred plain steamed vegetables. I didn't even finish them, which says a lot because I'm normally someone who finishes what's on my plate. The mac and cheese wasn't much better. It tasted more like something prepared from a box than something I would expect to be served at a restaurant. It seemed like the pasta was boiled, mixed with a basic cheese sauce, and then topped with shredded cheese to dress it up. Mac and cheese is usually a pretty safe side dish, so I was surprised by how underwhelming it was. But the biggest disappointment was easily the potato skins. Since they were my appetizer, they unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the meal. Bacon and cheese are hard to mess up, but what makes potato skins good is the potato itself--crispy, salty, and flavorful. These had none of that. The skins were soft, bland, and lacked any crispiness whatsoever. They honestly tasted like frozen potato skins that had been reheated in a microwave rather than freshly prepared. For a hotel restaurant, I wasn't expecting a five-star dining experience, but I did expect the basics to be done well, especially considering what you're paying. The friendly service was appreciated, and the steak was cooked properly, but the rest of the meal left a lot to be desired. Would I come back? Probably not. Even with the convenience of having the restaurant right downstairs, I'd rather spend the extra money and gas to drive somewhere else and get a better meal.

The Coloradan Burger at Front Range Inn just solved my life's problems. All I can think about is…read morethat burrrrger. Let's start with the fresh Angus blend patty. This thing is not just a burger patty. It is a beefy work of art. Juicy, rich, perfectly cooked, and clearly raised with the sole purpose of becoming the main character of my lunch. Then comes the gooey melted provolone cheese, which drapes itself over the patty like a warm edible blanket. It does not simply melt. It performs. The flame roasted green chilis bring that perfect Colorado attitude. Smoky, bold, a little spicy, and just enough fire to make you sit up straighter and respect the mountains. Then bacon shows up, because apparently this burger was not done being awesome. Crispy, salty, smoky bacon. The kind of bacon that makes you briefly forget your responsibilities. The smoked aioli deserves its own fan club. It is rich, smoky, a little spicy, and insanely good. I would put it on a shoe and probably still leave a positive review. The crisp bibb lettuce somehow manages to stay fresh and elegant while surrounded by total burger chaos. The tomatoes are fresh, the onions bring the snap, and the dill pickles come in like tiny green heroes cutting through the richness with a perfect tangy crunch. And then, just when you think the meal is over, here come the twice fried French fries. Perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and clearly made by someone who understands that fries are not a side dish. They are a supporting actor trying to win an Oscar. Dip those fries into the thick, creamy house-made ranch dipping sauce and suddenly you understand why people write poetry. The Coloradan Burger at Front Range Inn is messy, beautiful, smoky, spicy, cheesy, crispy, creamy, and completely unnecessary in the best possible way. I came in hungry and left wondering if I should send a thank you card to the kitchen staff.

We had a variety of appetizers, including the wontons, the jalapeño poppers, the brussels sprouts, and the coconut shrimp and everyone was generally a fan. The wontons were a little different, not bad, just different. For lunch we had a burger. Two people had the mushroom sandwich, and had the French dip. The French dip was a little disappointing. It was pretty dry and didn't have much flavor. The mushroom sandwich definitely seemed to be the favorite at the table and the burger was pretty good. The onion rings are decent and the fries were delicious overall this is a solid meal,l. Accessibility: There's plenty of parking, and a small lip to get in the side door. There are lots of different seating options although it looks like the bar is up some stairs. The bathroom is a little bit difficult to navigate- the bathroom door was too narrow for a wheelchair to fit through and there were no grab bars inside the bathroom. The hallway to the bathroom is also very narrow.
