Drinks came in a couple of waves and food took a bit of time. I get the juggling with the many needs of a large group so I didn't mind the wait. I split their new menu item, Nachos Grande, with a friend. I was underwhelmed with this entree. While the portion size was large, it was mostly chips and the large bowl of salsa in the middle. The toppings of roasted chicken, shredded cheese, diced onions, black beans, and pickled jalapeños were sparse and only sprinkled on the top layer. Had dinner here tonight. Old C's is not what it used to be. I had a chicken sandwich, was the smallest sandwich I have ever had with literally 17 French fries. The Italian nachos lacked cheesy, mostly just chips and peppers. The Margs were "ok" at best, lacked alcohol and the mix was so so. Our server was a young kid, he did the best job he could with what he was given. Probably won't go back to this store, I'll try another to see if maybe it was a one off. read more

We found Chicago in Colorado! It's a fun, Chicago-themed bar/restaurant. Really nice staff, quick service, fresh, cold beer on tap to go with juicy, flavorful hot wings, and perfectly crunchy thin-crust pizza. You can order Chicago and Detroit style pizzas, but we were feeling thin crust. Great prices too. Nice, safe location, but also it's Colorado so it's kinda safe everywhere, lol. We'd definitely come back, especially when the upstairs outdoor patio is open. Update: We ended up coming back the next night after our concert at Red Rocks, and the pizza was just as good if not better! Same server in the bar booths, too. Really nice guy. read more

This was one of the best pizza's I have ever had! We had the tossed crust with Pepperoni and sausage n mushrooms! The crust is made with beer that's why I think it's SO delicious! The sausage tastes almost like it's homemade it's that good! The chicken wings were just as delicious, they were cooked to perfection and served with carrots, celery, ranch dressing and blue cheese! Just wonderfully delicious! The drinks were also good! We like this place SO much we had dinner there on Saturday night and linner on Sunday just before we left for the airport back to Cali! This still has to be my favorite old Chicago. This place is clean, fun, and has a good lunch time deal. Plus, Morgan and Mya works there in the bar. Sometime a go they change the recipe of the crust, wasn't very fond of it. The best pizza is served at lunch time because it's cooked on the particular pan which makes the pizza crust super crunchy. We ordered a couple of large pizzas to go a couple of weeks ago and wasn't fond of the crust at all but what they have for lunch the same crust as the individual size pizza and it is top notch. I WOULD recommend going for lunch and having either the Chicago seven or the meat me. read more

I'm a basically average at best human I came in for happy hour at the Lakewood, co location and witnessed the most sick thing I've ever seen. A clearly overserver woman slip out of her bar stool and smacked her head and left blood on the ground every stopped and looked the staff gave her patches and let her drive home never once offering to call an ambulance. They did offer and uber. She was determined to leave and she did. I tried to tell the bartender to call ambulance her goes thanks for your opinion I sling drinks. There is no way that woman should have been allowed to drive over serverd and probably with a concussion. I hope she doesn't kill anyone read more

Wow. Such a let down after going to other Old Chicago's. Ordered take out on a Wednesday at 7:47 pm. Online said 20 minutes. Food was finally ready at 8:25. While waiting for food was asked 3 times what order we were waiting for, no one had a clue where food was or who it belonged too. What did we order? A burger (requested GF bun, did not get, left off the pickles (crucial reason for this choice) and tall order of wings. ***also ordered a side salad as the "gluten sensitive" option and it was loaded with croutons. No silverware offered or given. Food was barely "warm" upon getting it. I get places are busy and getting back to normal but this was a major disappointment. read more

First time eating at the establishment. Things started off a bit rocky. First of all, the was no host to seat us. My party and I walked to the bar area and asked a server do we seat ourselves. She replied "yes". As we were sitting down the host, some young guy questioned who told us to seat. I explained what we were told. It appeared as if he wanted to have some type of issue with us. I told a big step and didn't reply. I just sat down. Well Jenzeka, our server saved the entire experience. She apologized for the wait. She was VERY polite and professional. I had visited a few times during the week/weekend for late night HH, my rating is the avg. of those visits. What I learned is during the week the service is spotty, nobody greets you, and they rush to get you out the door, in fact they closed 30 minutes early on two of my visits; even though we wanted to spend more $$. (I guess they had a hot date or something?) Although, they have a large selection of beer, my 1/2/3 selection were out and $5 beer, regular $9 is a terrible deal for beer and the personal pan pizza was good, but $6; used to be $2. The calzone crust was great, but inside the ingredients were nothing special and the cook didn't even chop the onions. (We're not big fans of huge chunks of raw onion.) Apparently, some foreign company now owns OC, and they aren't doing a great job. FYI -The weekend night experience is better, than the week night for sure! Went here during the summer. We were hungry and they apparently had closed off the dining area. So we were seated at the booth near the bar. They were quick in seating us so I can't complain. The place had really loud music which if you have kids or older people with you it might not be something they would like. In our case the people we ate with wasn't a huge fan of the loud music. I had the classic pizza which had pepperoni and sausage, it was filling and exactly what I wanted. The entire plate was for myself. My significant other ordered spinach, chicken, and avocado salad. I hate leaving a bad review. I really do. But my visit here was abysmal. I was dining in at a lunch hour here and started off with the cheesy bread, which was toasted french bread slices with a melted square of cheese on it with some parsley. Not that bad, but not anything amazing. I ordered a chicken carbonara, and my kid ordered a burger as did my partner. When the burgers came out, both of the dishes patties were burned to a crisp. Absolutely black and stiff. My dish came out with chicken that was minced into almost a paste, on a bed of spaghetti and with very little sauce. Placed an online order an hour in advance driving in from out of state. Ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches. I have never ever ever received such terrible food. The chicken was completely charred. Inedible. I paid extra for avocado on it. The sliver I received was outside of the sandwich, along with brown lettuce. How much do you hate your job that you can serve that to a customer with no shame at all. Maybe they should keep $15.00 from the server and cooks checks so they know how a paying customer feels when we spend our hard earned money in an establishment that hires apathetic staff and they give out food like that. I paid for food and couldn't eat it. That's not right. That was just the chicken sandwiches. I also ordered a personal size cheese pizza and the fish and chips. Both entrees were as much of a letdown but I'll just post the photos so you can see for yourself. I'm not wasting anymore of my time on this place. I visited Old Chicago about a week ago and it was real busy and Maria was our server. Despite the rush, she still managed to deliver really good service. Maria was friendly, professional, and took the time to chat with us, even recommending some great dishes. Even though she was clearly handling a lot of tables she kept a positive and calm attitude and handled it like a pro. She was super nice and stayed on top of everything, making our experience great. We used to go here quite a bit. Food prices kept going up and quality went down. Hadn't been in a while, had a birthday pizza email and decided to go. Once again disappointed. Ordered a pizza and boneless wings. Some of the wings were extremely over cooked, many of the carrots were partially black, really between the cook and the server they didn't notice the black carrots. Or they didn't care. When I mentioned it, I was told it's a bad season for carrots. Are you kidding me! The pizza was good, but for $27 dollars luckily the birthday pizza took off some I would expect more than 8 square pieces. Over all the food is subpar and the prices are absurd.
