I think I have a new favorite location! I've never been to a Modern Market that wasn't a stand alone. This location is tucked in as an anchor in the food court of a mall so there's plenty of space, but still maintained the coziness of MM. All of the staff were incredible and I made sure to let them know. The Garlic Mushroom pizza is my favorite menu item at the moment and I always add bacon. I ended up receiving the best one I have EVER had from any location. 10/10 will come again. read more

We have these locally in AZ so were familiar with the concept. This is a fairly new location we were told and came with family to pick up dinner to go. I love that everything was fresh and made upon the order. We had a variety of salads including their Thai Coconut one that has some of the best dressing! Tangy and tasty! Wife got the Chefs Bowl Smokey Chicken and loved all of the quinoa and rice along with the chicken which was smokey and tender. Their salads also include their roasted sweet potatoes which have a wonderful chili flavor that balances the rest of the food in the bowl. The other thing I love about Modern Market is that you can order off the menu and make modifications without any excuses or attitude from the staff...the young lady said to me, "it's expected, and it's your salad!" when I asked for a few on my salad. Having little kids we find ourselves at the mall more than I'd like to admit and glad they have a Mod Market for us to visit. We ordered a pizza, mac and cheese, and one of their garden salads and everything was excellent. The stand out this evening was the salad which was well put together, lots of fresh veggies, and a dill salad dressing that I could eat alone. I ate here today for the first time and was sadly disappointed. I had a half bbq chicken pizza and a drink. It came out to $19, which I felt was pricey. I didn't receive a recipe so I cant review the prices. The lady at the register was less then excited to be there, and seemed bothered to be serving me. When I got the pizza it was COVERED in cilantro. The chicken tasted like boiled, unseasoned chicken. The restaurant was clean, which is a plus but I don't foresee myself going back. read more

I'll have to agree with the others on the three star average. Went here pretty hungry after a bike ride. Looking for something that wasn't too bad for us. I got the Smokey chicken bowl. The chicken was tender. Not a bad flavor overall. Also not anything to talk about. Let's talk about their drinks though. Love carrots and thought the carrot juice sounded great on a hot day. Should've taken a closer look at the sugar content though because. I soon realized that, the lemonade, etc. were all pretty much like a regular soda. Took a while to get our orders out of the kitchen. Smaller operation so they can only put together so much food at once. Not super fast or healthful so not what we were hoping to find at the Modern Market. read more

Can't go wrong with mod market - it's so good! The options here are healthy and they are pretty speedy at getting your order out. I always get the same thing, the steak hand carved plate with arugula and blue cheese salad along with either Mac and cheese or the fire roasted veggies. Broccoli and cheese soup was perfect. Usually restaurants make it with way to much cheese and I don't care for that. This one, you can actually taste the broccoli. :^) I come for the fiesta salad. It is my fave and I always get extra corn with that because it's grilled corn. My daughter had the sesame tofu with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and it was all perfect and on spot. My eight dollar bottle of Pinot Grigio has made it all better. The Spindrift ginger beer was also amazing !! I think Y'all should give it a shot. There is something for everybody. I try to eat clean, and when I travel I find that it can be challenging. So I was excited to try this place during a recent trip to Denver. The menu looked healthy! And they had one of my favorite food mantras written on the wall, "Eat food, not too much, mostly plants." I ordered a steak dish and unfortunately it was overcooked, to the point of being dry. The flavors were decent, but I just didn't feel like I'd received what I ordered. If you're looking for a quick bite with quality made ingredients, then this place is worth a visit, but I would recommend you temper your expectations a bit. read more

Three stars here. Nothing knocks my socks off but at the same time, it's not bad either. Just found out kids eat free on Sundays and Mondays when an adult buys an entree, so I'm definitely doing that from now on! This is a great space in the food court area and I like the large community table (although I rarely see anyone sitting there.) Pizzas and salads are good and they have kombucha on tap (who doesn't these days?) but I'm not swept off my feet or anything. Simply good, a-ok. Generally, the food has been good in the past. The kid that took our order was not friendly and borderline rude. My son ordered the Kids mac n cheese and wanted Some side chicken. (Note protein is good to add to the carbon loaded mac n cheese). The rude kid at the register said you can't add chicken. Another girl finally showed him. $6.00 for a side of chicken are you kidding me. The mac n cheese of ice cold in the middle. My wife and I had the chicken plates they were both colds as well. Good food, quick & polite service, and a neat atmosphere earn this Mod Market a solid 4 stars. While I don't often eat at Mod Market, I always seem to have a positive experience when I stop in. I like this location because the interior is really cool. They have plenty of 2-top tables, and some larger, interspersed among a couple walls to break it up. The decor is modern and fresh. When you order, you're given a pager and your cups. You can quickly pick up a drink and chat with your dining companions while you wait for your food. When your food is ready, you exchange your beeper for your tray and voila! It couldn't be easier. The food itself is pretty good. Sometimes I wish the portions were a little bigger. It always tastes fresh and leaves me satisfied. It's also a nice touch that they include nutritional info on the receipt. That info is important to some people. As far as fast-dining goes, Mod Market is pretty exceptional. read more

And then when I got home my entire order was wrong......no dressing for the salad, no gravy for the mashed potatoes, tomatoes on a sandwich that said no tomatoes, and a pizza covered in Crema that said no Crema. 3 stars for a good Mod Market experience at this location. Staff was pleasant, atmosphere was nice, food was so so. I very much enjoy Mod Market, especially the one downtown. I was happy to visit this newly opened location before a movie. The restaurant itself is quite gorgeous. Just like other Mods, this one is modern with warm textures and materials. They have a nice separated dining area that would help if the place was packed. There is also large windows to let in a lot of natural light. Outside they have a very nice looking patio, although it does look over the parking lot. On this visit, the restaurant was fairly empty since it was the middle of the afternoon. We walked right up to order. The woman behind the counter was very nice and efficient. The food took a little longer to come out than I was expecting, especially with the low number of people waiting for food. When we did get it though, we eagerly jumped right in. I had the half size of the Bianco Pizza. A white pizza with cherry tomatoes, spinach, and fresh mozzarella. They use fresh ingredients and they had a good covering of each one. The pizza was a little burnt though, and quite honestly was nothing special. I found myself wishing I had gotten something else. One thing I noticed is that none of the entrees come with sides, even the sandwiches. Not a deal breaker, but considering how quickly the prices here add up, I feel like more than a pickle could be on the side. Nothing bad happened on this, but nothing stellar. I had questions about spices which the cashier was able to answer quickly with a binder of information at the front. He even informed the kitchen of my needs to be sure I was taken care of. Good honest food at a reasonable price. I've been coming here for over a year now and the quality has remained the same. Kids love the pizzas! I honestly do too. Taste fresh and don't taste like spray on garlic butter like every other pizza places I've been. Their meal options are like elegant home cooked plates that are nutritious and plated to appeal. All of the meals come with nutrition information on your receipt which I absolutely love! You know what you are eating and how much of what you are actually getting! We have started to eat breakfast here to avoid the lines and waits of the big chains and popular eateries and I was thoroughly impressed with their breakfast, as well. We love ModMarket food, so when we got a notice that they were offering free delivery to entice customers to try delivery, we jumped at it. We ordered dinner for three people. It was delivered on time but only three of the four items were included. We tried to call the delivery driver, no answer. We tried to call ModMarket but our local store transferred us to customer care, which was closed. We called the delivery service, which said it wasn't their fault. At this point we plan to go into the store tomorrow to talk to a person... A little later we tried the store again and got the manager. He apologized and said they forgot to give the item to the delivery driver. He promised to refund the entire order. read more

Ordered Mod Market to go for lunch today. My mom picked it up and brought it home, I ordered the blueberry pesto sandwich and she ordered a half sandwich and half salad. My meal was great, but they forgot the pickle which they tend to do with to go orders. The pickle is my favorite part! My mom enjoyed her meal as well, the ingredients were very fresh and delicious. The only frustration I have with Mod Market is their lack of options for soups. If I am ever feeling like I want soup for lunch, I typically go to Panera instead of Mod Market because of their larger soup selection. I realize this has nothing to do with this specific location and comes from higher up in the company.
