There's a few signature shops inside the 1-level mall and more useful stores outside on the property's surroundings. There are so many empty shops in the mall itself it's not really worth trekking to to spend a day out. It has potential but I truly felt like I was in one of those shows where a land owner just stopped paying their bills and leases and left it to empty out.

Its architecture looks like it has wings and a beautifully integrated light filled space! The shorts also didn't fit, so I drove back to the store hoping to exchange them for a different size. I completely understand that stores have policies, and I respect the no-exchange policy. However, I paid in cash and wasn't informed of that policy at checkout, which made the situation a little confusing. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. Instead of trying to help or understand the issue, the employee I spoke with seemed to assume I wasn't being truthful about where or when I purchased the item. I was told that I may have bought it at another location, even though this was my first time ever visiting the store and I had purchased multiple items that day. The shorts still had the original tag and security device attached, showing they had never been worn. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just hoping to exchange them for a size that fit after having to make an extra trip because the security tag had been left on. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What left a negative impression was feeling talked down to rather than treated like a valued customer. A little understanding and customer service would have gone a long way.

I feel like because it's a bit further back (on the border of Hoboken / JC) there is way less of a crowd then the JC shopping center with Shop Rite. Even though Shop-Rite is closer to my house, I mainly food shop here because shop-rite is always a crowded zoo. The supermarket used to be an A&P, but recently switched over to Acme. I also hit up Pier 1 from time to time, and just like everything else in this shopping center, it's rarely crowded which is really nice. Other stores include Best Buy, a beauty supply store and a couple of fast food options. I wish that there was something healthier to eat, because your only choices are a Popeyes or a Papa Johns. But, definitely not a big deal. There aren't too many shopping centers in Jersey City and it's nice to have this as an option!
