First time here, have been wanting to try this place ever since we moved. Went around 8:30 on Saturday morning. Waited 20 minutes, it was well worth the wait. The coffee is so good and it's local. They make almost everything from scratch. I ordered Tamis favorite goulash and my husband ordered the bacon avocado Florentine eggs Benedict and we shared the Danish Abelskivers (sp?) everything was so good. Took a friend from out of town to try the place out! We were seated pretty fast despite the crowd waiting for a table! I decided to try the "Dutch Babies". a kind of egg souffle with lemon and powdered sugar. My companion ordered an eggs and sausage breakfast. We also ordered abbleskeevers on the side. Everything was delicious! The skeevers were excellent, I've had some that were just doughballs, dry and tasteless. These were very tasty with sausage, berry, and plain on offer. Great food, service, and overall theme! I tried the Danish Aebelskivers for the first time, and they're so fluffy and delicious; they taste like pancake balls! I also had the buttermilk pancakes, which were just as fluffy and tasty. The only complaint I had was the ambiance, as it was pretty noisy, but that can be expected for breakfast diners. I love the old European we've been coming here for years great hang out with friends or family. Food quality is always fresh, tasty and local. I definitely love this location a lot better than their older one a lot more parking space which is a bonus. Even when it's busy here which is quite often we get seated pretty fast. Whenever I go I usually have my kids with me and they always get the teddy bear pancakes they seem to love the face and their pancakes are really good quality as well. Yes I May or may not have stole a bite or two from my kids lol... My new go to is their eggs benedict super delicious. Lots of yummy bacon. In the past I've tried the Hungarian goulash, and I've gotten an egg white veggie omelette with a side of strawberry filled crepes those are always amazing. For their warm drinks I've had their caramel macchiatos, mocha, Australian coffee and I've also had their fresh squeezed orange juice. I went to breakfast here with my husband on a Saturday. The host was very friendly and seated us quickly. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The waitress was curt. My German sausage and eggs came out cold and by the time she came back around I didn't care anymore. The cinnamon roll was slightly underdone and they don't bake the pecans in, so it's not worth the calories. My husband's lighter side breakfast was fine. We decided to try this old style breakfast diner for brunch while we were visiting Spokane. I got the Chicken goulash, my wife got the avocado toast and the cake plate for us to share. First of all the portions are pretty big, which we found out when the food came and we realized we ordered way too much. As far as the food quality, it was pretty average food. I would put it near the same level as IHOP or Denny's. The Chicken goulash was okay, it just seemed like they threw a bunch of ingredients in a frying pan and smothered it in gravy and called it a "goulash". The avocado toast was just slices of avocado and tomatoes on a slice of toast, with eggs. The cake plate was a bit more interesting than the rest of the food, the crepe was good and so was the pancakes. However the Aebelskivers were not very good, its just a fried ball of dough with some syrup on the side, just a filler food to take up space in your stomach! Overall, the food was pretty basic and just "meh". I do appreciate the bigger portions, makes you feel like you're getting your money's worth. However it seems like a quantity over quality situation. The service was good, especially considering the restaurant was packed. May or may not come back if we are in town, might try something new next time. read more

Their tomato soup is very good, they add fresh cut tomatoes in it. They also have homemade jelly that's good. The rest of their food that we have tried has been whatever. The Austrian Coffee was a joke, regular coffee with whipped cream on top for like 7 or 8 bucks, never again. Service was perfectly fine, quick, responsive and of course very nice. When I ordered some pancakes and strawberries, the pancakes weren't all that flavorful and in fact they were soggy and unappetizing. The strawberries were literally just thawing out from the freezer. Another item we ordered off the menu was a ham and cheese omelette, which was okay. It was really bland and just tasted like cheese honestly. Another diamond in the ruff place to eat breakfast in spokane. The veggie omelette egg whites only is very delicious would recommend to anyone. I also got the different types of goulash, if you get the full portion it will fill you the heck up! You better be starving if you order that one it's huge! Another cool feature is they have giant orange presser for juicing! I don't think any restaurant in Spokane presses their oranges to get fresh juice. I would give this place 4 stars, but I somehow end up magically spending a lot of money here? I got an omelet and coffee and I ended up out $16? (I did tip about 4 smokes). I don't know how "authentic" Euro this place is, nor do I care. In my 5 weeks in Europe most of the breakfasts I had consisted of bread, yogurt, crackers, and maybe fruit if I was lucky. Felt good to finally eat out after a long COVID hiatus :). Took the family and everyone had smiles on their faces. The food quantities were generous but only one take home container, we were hungry :). The fresh squeezed orange juice is to die for! The service was good and always a smile. This is a large breakfast restaurant that seems to get pretty busy. They have all your standard breakfast foods with some extra options like the goulash and unique pastries. The staff were friendly and attentive. The OJ was good but it wasn't cold enough for my liking, the food was decent but it wasn't hot enough either. I got dirty silverware. My mom and I came in here for breakfast Tuesday morning and I'm so happy we needed to kill time, or we may not have! Yummmm my waitress was super patient with me being incredibly indecisive(and then ultimately choosing pancakes!) don't pass up the pancakes, or the crepes with sweet cream. My mom ordered a latte, I love that is even an option here, I got water refills often which was needed! I will be back for the service and food were both top notch! I am giving this review two stars instead of one because they had such a fun and creative menu and because our waiter was super friendly! Issues: NO ONE was wearing a face mask - we were used to that from customers, but not a single staff member was - YUCK!! My coffee cup had dried sludge glued to the outside of the cup, which was exchanged after I said something, but again.... YUCK! My husband and I stopped for breakfast and ordered the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken. I was so disappointed to see that they have switched to using rehydrated hash browns. They were not good. I will definitely not be ordering the hashbrowns again. Please bring back the homemade fresh hash browns. They have also changed the gravy. Mt wife doesn't appreciate a big breakfast, so when I travel alone I indulge myself. Eggs Benedict is my favorite and I'm particular about it. You can do many variants of a Benedict, but I stick to the classic. I was a bit leary when I read ham and basted eggs as ingredients, rather than the proper poached eggs and canadian bacon. But they surprised this Benedict purist. It all works. Delicious! They used good ham, which helped tremendously. The shredded hash browns were perfect. We both got the eggs Benedict but he got the regular with the ham and I tried the one with avocado and substituted the meat for a chicken patty and it was sooo yummy! We also tried a strawberries and cream crepe and that was delicious and I don't know how to spell it but it's like sweet little dough balls and they serve it with sweet cream and syrup and it is so good! They also have fresh squeezed orange juice so don't forget to try that! And if you're looking to spice it up, they also have mimosas and mimosa flights and those are also so yummy! Went to division street location. Husband ordered just hashbrowns and a hamburger pattie. Burgers are precooked not fresh ground meat. Tasted it and it was cold like it was pulled out of the cooler and put on his plate. Was not warm at all. Waitress seemed annoyed that he didn't want to eat it. Won't be back.
