This is a coffee and sandwich shop that does those tasks very, very well. They also sell a smattering of gifty items. Our visit was a stop while in the area on a cycle ride. Coffee sounded good on this cool day. After walking in we saw that they also did some food, mostly sandwich type items. We decided to give those a try as well. The very friendly (genuine) staff made suggestions based on our likes and we ended up with a couple variations of turkey sandwiches. My wife had the Turkey Gobbler which was basically the regular sandwich w/cranberry sauce added to it. She also chose the potato salad as the side. She liked both quite a bit. I had the regular turkey sandwich with a chipotle sauce added. I also had the potato salad. The sandwich was piled with just the right amount of turkey and veggies and the sauce was spicy but not hot. Both sandwiches were piled between haves of a ciabatta bun. The potato salad was also very good. My wife also had a mocha which she enjoyed. The interior is set up as a cafe/gift shop and there is plenty of elbow room. There were about 5-6 four place tables as well as a couch for just kicking back to relax. When in the area we'll certainly stop in for another visit. read more

If I could give none I would. Please note this place is under new ownership as of 2018. Walked in for the first time today, nice loud bell to let folks know when someone walks in. Stood at the counter for a while before someone came out from the kitchen (pretty sure it was the owner). Thought we would be welcomed...she said, "Just a second". In was okay with it since it looked like she was the only one there. She came back out from what I'm guessing is the freezer, walked past with out saying anything. Waited for a little longer. Another couple walked in behind us, waited too. She came back out, told the couple behind us to seat themselves and didn't saY a word to us, then walked out of the building. We left before being seated. I was really pulling for this place since the new owners came onboard (overlooking all the bad reviews, and the social media attacks from the owners when someone left a bad review)...not anymore. After a 9 hour drive, feeling tired and hungry, we lucked into finding this wonderfully charming place on their very first night serving dinner. First of all, the food was excellent but secondly and more importantly, the truly owner/operated service was above and beyond in every way. Warm, attentive, personal, casual - exceptional! The Tin Cup was a wonderful surprise. Super friendly service, reasonably priced food and a cozy atmosphere. My husband and I stopped here after camping by Spokane Lake. I had the crispy croissant sandwich with ham, egg, cheese, chipotle, tomato and onion. So tasty! My husband had the biscuits and gravy. A great value for $3.50. The coffee is also very good. The next time we are in this part of WA, we will definitely stop here again. read more

I hate doing this giving only 2 stars ! Myself and I'm sure the community want very much to see this family succeed. Here are a few issues I've had since their grand reopening. 1. Change of hours & days at least 2 times. Having breakfast hours at 10:00 makes little sense. 2. Greeting people as they walk in is usually nothing or unenthusiastic. We are all neighbors 3. I saw the waitress ( not the owner) who I believe is the granddaughter a. Wipe all the drinking glasses inside and out with what I would call a filthy rag. B. Serve herself ice cream in a cup and lick on it while customers are eating C. Play games on the pinball machine while customers are there. 4. Very slow with service, even setting the table 5. I couldn't drink the coffee it was so weak that when I added creamer it looked like dirty water. When I told the owner her response was " yeah I've heard that"! She offered & did take it off my bill. But why not throw in a few more scoops of coffee when brewing?? On the upside the burgers are good and the eggs & hashbrowns are good. Only 4 experiences but not a good start. Food was good, super cute place, but omg the service is so bad. We were completely ignored for so long. This was a couple months ago but the experience nags at me still to leave a review. Took forever to get water. Took forever to place our orders. Had to chase them down to pay our bill and were just treated like we were being awkward but.. We just wanted to pay and leave! Sadly this place is not what it use to be. We have a home on the lake and come here during the summers. We use to love coming here for a great coffee, shake or breakfast. Even though the service was a little slow- smiles and friendliness was always good and the food great. Today we went in to order 3 shakes!!!! It was crazy! The ice cream is on one side of the room and the blenders on the other side and the flavors over near the coffee machine, which seemed to be where the tables and chairs are! So strangely configured! We placed our 3 shake order twice with two different people and then we still had to remind them again. There was about 5 people running around- sort of doing nothing and the counters were a MESS! It was chaos and messy- so disappointed. Sadly, the only place on this side of the lake- I hope they can get their act together. We miss the old Tin Cup! read more

Food was pretty good and the outdoor seating was nice and quiet. Service was decently quick as well.

We took our dog for a ride in the convertible and saw that this place was listed on fido.com as a dog friendly restaurant, so we stopped for lunch. I had the turkey cobbler (thick slices,of turkey, cream cheese and cranberries). Jim had the French dip. Came with sides. Very reasonably priced. Jim also had a caramel macchiato, which was better than Starbucks. Great patio area for us to hang out with the dog. We'll be back. read more

Whether that's switching their hours for the millionth time, their horribly managed and poorly written Facebook account, or the loss of charm that ones was the Tin Cup. Tried twice in a week. It's a neat looking place and seems clean. First visit the owner was berating a server and it was obvious to all. Nothing fancy for us -chili dog and blt. Food was ok but the owner was talking loudly and for a long time to other customers which took away from the atmosphere. We noticed another customers burger which looked good so we returned today It was not busy but nobody spoke to us for 15 minutes. Another gentleman walked in and, looking lost as nobody spoke to him either, made his way to a table. Finally the server brought him some water but he pointed to us saying we were there first I think she said "I'll get them next" then turned her back on us. We left hungry and will not be back. It's just not pleasant but it could be easily with some training I guess. They are new in the business it seems. Good luck to them. read more

We got in a little late for camping and needed some food. We saw this place on the way into the park. They have a variety of sandwiches from the menu, or you can make your own. The people were very nice and accommodating. We had our 2 year old with us and there is a big play structure and sandbox outside that he could climb on while we ate, and after sitting in the car for about 6 hours he needed it! read more

This is a great little stop near the Nine Mile camping area. The waitress/barista was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was a little limited, but tasted great. I'm a local and the tin cup is our gem. Go on a hike or a bike ride on the Centennial trail and stop in and check it out. Have breakfast or lunch and your favorite coffee or ice cream. I love the arts and crafts that they sell for real cheap. It's a plus to have an awesome to have the Tin cup, because it's Saturday and I have company and I'm going to order breakfast and pick it up! We enjoyed a moment to rest after biking the Centennial Trail. It's a quiet, quaint little place and has "at home" feeling. We enjoyed our gobbler sandwich, turkey salad sandwich, pasta salad side, and basil soup. I'd love to drop in one day for a cup of coffee with a book in hand! P.S. I was visiting family in NW Spokane, realized I was hungry for lunch and simultaneously bored with all the "usual" places. So, when I saw The Tin Cup on Yelp, I decided to take the short drive out of town down to Nine Mile and try it out. Good turkey wrap along with friendly service, and there is a county park just across the street with picnic tables and hiking trails. These guys are so fantastic! I ordered a platter of sandwiches from these guys for a work event and they did amazing. They made a variety of sandwiches, provided salad options, and did a big bowl of chips. The sandwiches were delicious! I loved them. We got 26 sandwich halves (variety of kinds), a huge bowl of chips, and a huge bowl of a spinach, strawberry, walnut salad for 88 bucks. Great place. The customer service was FANTASTIC. Brandi was who I ordered through over the phone and she really showed she cared about my order. These guys were seriously fantastic and I would recommend them 100%!!!! On a trip to Spokane we were drive out to near by Nine mile falls and found the Tin Cup. What a great find, the food is some of the best I ever had. I ordered a Turkey and Provolone sandwich when pasta salad. The turkey was fresh thick cut turkey brest meat not cheap pressed lunch meat. The pasta salad was the best I have ever had, I love pasta salad and I have never had one that tasted this good. Their coffee is as good as any coffee shop out there. The biggest plus was the service, the ladies working there go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience and everyone is so friendly. When ever I'm in Spokane I will stop by the Tin cup for coffee and lunch, what a great find. read more
