I ate here for the first time 2 nights ago and enjoyed it very much, food was great, place was clean , waitress was very nice and polite and I had given it a good rating Saturday I went again and had a very bad experience concerning the manager on duty with a mask issue( not me). The person with me was walking from inside the establishment to outside yo our table and he was in the process of walking out the door taking his mask off as he was walking to the our table which was right outside the door and the manager chased after him screaming at him about the mask not being on, kept screaming at him and was not polite at all during this whole thing, the person with me didn't argue back, was very respectful and was still being yelled at. As far as I'm concerned because of this kind of treatment I refuse to ever go back here to eat ..... the manger could have handled much differently, like with respect but no, he was a complete asshole, NEVER going back !!!! read more

By far the best restaurant I have eaten from. I had the shrimp and grits which were delicious also ordered the oysters and they were fresh and delicious. My husband had the crispy grouper sandwich which was amazingly delicious. I am really picky when I go to restaurants but this place really impressed me. When we got there my youngest daughter was crying and the waitress Maddie was so sweet and patient she offered her crackers which my daughter loved and she instantly stopped crying. We also had their pitcher margarita which was also so good. I had an incredible experience and will definitely be coming back with my friends and family. Thank you to everyone working there everyone was so nice. The service was fast and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Can't say enough great thing about this place. We stopped on Wednesday for happy hour. It was really a perfect evening for an outdoor table. The entertainment was good, the service was good, we got an appetizer which was (I think) $3.00. You cannot beat that. The family decided to go back for dinner on Friday. We were pleasantly surprised. The table agreed the conch fritters were good. I got a ham,avocado, cheese sandwich which was very good. Presentation is excellent. Their fries are good. Flatbread was ordered at the table and got a thumbs up. The only less than great thing was the fish which was frozen instead of fresh. It is not in season so we sort of expected it but would have loved it to be fresh. Ordered for the office, overall sentiment was meh, undeserving of the effort of any further elaboration. Dolphin Reuben and Dolphin Sandwich: Both were disappointing, fish was overcooked on both and on regular sandwich portion of fish was truly meagre. Bread was twice the width of the piece of fish. One ordered with fries, which were clearly prepackaged from a bag, and one ordered with black rice and beans which was apparently quite good. BLACKENED CHICKEN AVOCADO BLT: two ordered this sandwich, verdict was that the chicken was well prepared but mixed reports on the bread and sauce. Fish and Chips: Fish was decent, nothing to write home about. Fries were as mentioned, pre made. Caprese salad: No complaints here from the peanut gallery, but I would generally not recommend this dish unless you are in the heart of Italy, let alone on the East Coast of Florida, in the hometown of Burt Reynolds no less (no disrespect to the legend Bandit). Cheese Steak Sandwich: Apparently rather good, surprisingly. A seafood place that doesn't know how to prepare seafood yet somehow nails the very exacting recipe of the Philly Cheese Steak. Sounds like the makings of a movie, probably one that would be panned by critics and only enjoyed by the people that think Fast and Furious is high art. Buffalo wings: average. Mezza mezza as the Aye-talians would say. Location: Very nicely lit, furnished and decorated, not too loud and very spacious feeling. staff was accommodating, pleasant. Perhaps they should've invested a little less in their interior decoration and put a little more into the culinary side of things, it being a restaurant. Looks like a bright sports bar but tastes like a delicious bistro! Coconut encrusted grouper with Thai sauce and a fresh relish on a sub roll was delicious. Husband had a shrimp quesadilla that was very flavorful and also the lobster bisque soup, which was delicious. Service was excellent and it was nice to sit inside on a cool Florida night, but there was an outdoor bar and seating for better weather. Definitely recommend trying out this place. read more

We have eaten here on and off for years. We just started frequenting here for dinner again. Met friends her last night for dinner. Happy hour drinks were reasonable and generous. My friend had the blackened Cobia and cleaned the plate. Said it was among the best he's eaten. I had the fish and chips entre made with Cod and it was absolutely delicious. My companion loved the large portion of fried shrimp. Our server was fantastic, attentive and prompt with every detail. You must give it a try. You will not be disappointed. We went fishing on a charter boat (shout out to the Majestic Rose and Captain Mark) and caught some yellow tail snapper and a couple king mackerel. We took our fillets of fish straight from the dock to Old Florida. They cooked them to our suggestions (fried the snapper, grilled and blackened the king). They served our fish with two sides and it was delicious! I'm so glad Captain Mark steered us their way. We also had cracked conch and calamari and both were great. The food is delicious and the menu is creative and loaded with options and fresh recipes and ingredients. The food lives up to it's name. This place is a Classic "Old Florida" seafood resturant. Old Florida is not a bad thing! It means authentic. My biggest warning is that they have very limited Gluten Free Options, a wait staff that can tend to drop the ball, but their management team will try their best to make it right. if you care more about drinks than food, then this is your place for live music and good bartenders. read more
