This is the hotel restaurant at the Jupiter Beach Resort, so it's of course convenient if you are staying here. They have a TON of seating - both indoor and outdoor. It's hotel food, so everything is overpriced. Quality was actually decent though. We all really loved the breakfast - all the goods like avo toast, chicken sausage and bacon, choco chip pancakes, eggs, etc. There's a kids menu for breakfast too which is nice. Lunch and dinner menus are also large and have lots of delicious seafood options too. We had the seafood pasta at dinner and it was really yummy! My grandma came for lunch and absolutely loved her burger. There are also plenty of kids menu items to choose from. Service at dinner was not great. It took hours to eat. After a while we noticed we hadn't gotten our main, and the server informed us that we needed to tell her we were done with our apps and ready for dinner in order for them to fire it off for the kitchen. Interesting system - and probably good to inform guests about this to avoid waiting for food for hours. In any case! It's really sold for a hotel restaurant and we enjoyed all of our meals here. read more

I'm disappointed by my experience here, as this place was quite revered though my childhood visiting Jupiter to see my grandparents. I was hoping for a special brunch experience with my young daughter to celebrate coming back for the first time in several years. We decided to walk over from Carlin Park via the beach, which turns out was a huge mistake - after asking 5 different employees how we could get to the restaurant, we were essentially told we had to sneak past security because there was no other way. Once we eventually made it to the hostess stand, we were seated in the direct sun outside and asked to move to one of many shaded tables and told no. We felt very unwelcomed by all the staff, like we weren't welcome to the restaurant since we weren't staying there. We were given breakfast menus and told we had to order immediately, which we did - then we were told breakfast wasn't possible and we had to order lunch. Since the restaurant is closed for 30 minutes between breakfast and lunch, we asked if we'd need to wait that long for the order to go in - and were told no, it shouldn't be a problem. Keep in mind I had a hungry toddler in tow as well. 45 minutes later the food starts coming out, and it took 60 minutes for my daughter's French fries. We were very close to getting up and walking over to Publix just to get something in my daughter's stomach - and honestly wish we had, based on the quality of the food. We had: Turkey club - worst item, dry and bread was awful. My mom only ate a quarter of it Mango slaw - very undersalted, and sadly the salt shakers were clogged Burger - ordered medium rare and came out medium well, but at that point we weren't willing to wait another 30 minutes Mahi Mahi sandwich - just OK - a bit overcooked and a tiny piece of fish (see photo) I added a star because our server was very sweet and ended up comping a key lime pie - which was delicious. Overall, for a $100 lunch we expected much better service and food, and will not be returning. read more

Made a reservation for a table for 3 on Sunday (Fathers Day) dinner at 6pm. We arrived at the front entrance and there's only valet parking for a charge of $6 plus the tip. There seems to be plenty of parking this looks like a unnecessary expense to grab a few extra dollars. Our table was ready immediately we sat inside but there was outdoor tables also. Plenty of tables to choose from for a holiday weekend, another red flag of the troubles to come. Waiter came over gave us waters with a choice tap, bottled or sparkling. Our server came next to take our drink and food choices since we had the time to review the menu between staff arrivals. We all had there house wines in different colors and varieties We had the wedge salads and oysters Rockefeller to start and our main entrees were the seafood trio and our friends had the rib eye steaks (medium rare). Salads came out first, a little while later the oysters showed up all to our liking. The entrees arrived a while later with the steaks out first. As soon as they put there knife and fork to them they knew they weren't done properly, they sliced through the middle and not a speck of pink to be had (well done) cooked to death ! My seafood dish arrived a while late and we sent back the steaks. The replacement steaks took 20 minutes to arrive, I had finished my dish which was slightly overcooked as well. The replacement steaks were perfect and they comped the 2 steaks for the inconvenience. We had coffee and key lime pie for dessert with no other issues. The prices for the whole menu are very high. I thought we'd have views of the ocean but there is none to be had. I don't think we would return with all the issues we had on our first visit to this establishment. We eat out frequently in our 10 years of living in FL but I'd give this a miss. read more

Service was impeccable. Our server Frankie was very nice and accommodating. The food was very good, very expensive though, but tasty and a bit unique. I tried their focaccia bread appetizer with blueberry butter. I had a Caesar salad and a pasta dish. The ambiance was a bit weird because there is Moss all over the walls + some larger sculptures and Driftwood. It is right off of the beach and outside so the doors were continually opening while waiters serviced the people sitting outside, and the warm air kept wafting into the cool interior room. It's right off of the beach so people are dressed very casual. You can also see and hear. What's going on in the pool area. The bathrooms are outside of the restaurant in the hotel lobby. Was not loving the ambiance, but the service and food were really nice. I also dislike that they did away with the self parking and now it is mandatory $5 valet. read more

The ambience was classy and inviting . We came for the first time to try the restaurant Mo special with the three courses and all three courses were delicious. Service was great. Our server faren was very friendly and attentive . For the starters, I got the octopus and the ceviche and we shared them so that we can try two different things since we both got the same deal. The octopus was great perfectly cooked and flavored., the ceviche was a good size portion and also great flavor. We both got the red snapper for our main and it was very good. Fresh not fishy and the mango and pineapple sauce were the perfect combination with the yuca underneath . We were so full, but once the Keylime pie came, we somehow made room lol. We are local and have been here several times. Hostess stand is sometimes empty for long periods - have to be patient. Food is always good. Bar is always loud. Lawd they get 5 stars for the creme brûlée alone! It was so good, I'm looking past them completely overcooking my friend's steak. She asked for medium rare to medium and her steak didn't have a lick of pink! Latitudes is inside a hotel and is valet only $5. Restaurant is easy enough to find on the first floor and is very aesthetically pleasing. Friend and I decided to hit up this spot for Flavor South Florida during the month of September. Lunch is three course $35 and a delight. Friend ordered coconut shrimp (she thought it was too much coconut), steak frites (again steak overcooked, she elected to not send it back because she loved the charring), and key lime pie for dessert which she loved. I ordered the judith calamari (good but not spectacular and came with little peppers), lobster & shrimp fettuccine (very healthy portion, took most togo), and the creme brûlée! Absolute STAR OF MY MEAL! The vanilla specks were plentiful. My only small complain is I wish the custard was slightly colder. The sugar topping was absolute heaven as well. We both ordered cocktails and mine was strong baby. The bartender did not come to play. Service was good as well from valet to hostess to table side, all friendly. Zero complaints. The valet even offered me water after I tipped him lol Now let's see how many times I can come back for the creme brûlée! read more

We have stayed at the resort but never had dinner here. We've only eaten breakfast, lunch, or drinks and apps here. This year we tried it for dinner. The food was good we had the grilled octopus and shrimp spring rolls to start. Both were very good. We had grilled chicken for dinner and the seafood tower. Chicken was very good but seafood tower was a little disappointing with the quantity of seafood in the tower. I then noticed this same issue when sitting poolside and ordering shrimp cocktail- it had a smaller amount of shrimp than normal. Dessert was very good brownies with chocolate mousse in between- beautiful presentation. Service was good. I honestly wanted to give 3.5 stars because of the portions on seafood but left it at 4 stars. I do very much like this resort and their little touches. read more

We were 2 couples here for the first time in Jupiter because it was the mid point for us to meet. Latitudes is the restaurant in the Opal Hotel. We were greeted at the front by the valet who charged $5. The venue is beautiful- so chic and elegant. All the seating areas were in sections throughout the area. Outside seating was breathtaking - overlooking the ocean with the warm breeze. We were fortunate to get a reservation a few days ahead in the lounge area - noise level was moderate. Our waitress was very sweet - Mia who checked in on us periodically to see if everything was okay. It was a very busy Saturday night. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. Then things started to fall short. I'm listing all the errors in service which basically made us feel like we would never return to this location again. 1. Soup was brought without a spoon 2. Appetizers were not brought out together. 3. Dinners were not brought out together either. 4. Waitress messed up bills. She overcharged for the coffee, and charged the alcoholic drinks to the wrong couple. Price was listed lower on the menu but computer had a higher price in its database. 5. Cappuccino was brought out with a rock candy stirrer, which was cute, but friend is diabetic and could not use it. She asked for a spoon and was given a tablespoon. 6. Some of the food was not hot enough. 7. At the start I asked for lemons for our waters. I had to ask 3x. 8. Women's handicap bathroom had no soap or paper towels The food was beautifully presented and it was delicious. The main problem was the service. We made reservations for this restaurant in the Jupiter Beach Resort. Valet parking for $5 is the only option. There's a beautiful bar and lounge area inside as well as indoor dining. We chose to sit outside which was lovely. Although we couldn't see the ocean, we could hear it. Nick was very helpful and attentive. We had the Crab covered grouper and the Seafood trio which was grouper, scallops, and shrimp. Everything was delicious plus very appealing presentation. We had bananas foster which was huge and mango cheesecake. Definitely one of the best dinners we've had in Jupiter. Having enjoyed the Latitudes in Delray Beach, we assumed that its Jupiter location would be almost the same - it was similar, but not that close. The restaurant is attractive; everything is modern, yet cozy. The menu is virtually identical and the overlapping dishes quite good. The seared scallops were wonderful, and the accompanying risotto wonderful. The coconut shrimp were excellent. - a bit of spice, but not over the top. The tuna tataki was quite good as well. However, duck breast special was a bit disappointing- it was surprisingly dry, as was the burger. I normally don't comment on the cocktails - but our drinks (including their take on an old fashioned) were half the size of cocktails we've had in every restaurant that I can remember. Finally, our service was wonderful; our server made good suggestions, checked back frequently but did not hover. Overall, a good, but not great, dinner. read more

Exceptional from beginning to end. Perfect spot after seeing a musical at the Maltz. Dining room had been completely redone after out last visit, serene, gorgeous, and so comfortable. Our waitress was exceptional, Farren, top notch and best anywhere! Welcomed us, gave us an overview of renovations, and the menu. Started with an exceptional blueberry fog cocktail - beautiful presentation and what great flavors. For my meal I had the Lobster and Shrimp Fettuccine which was remarkably the most luscious meal. Generous amounts of tender Maine lobster claw and knuckle meat and large shrimp in a fabulous sauce that was a perfect dinner. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and it was delicatable. Also ordered their bronzino and their snapper and they were both delicious. Im sorry for zero photos however we were enjoying the entire experience and I totally forgot! I'll be there again prior to departure and i will submit photos. The ambiance is amazingly elegant. Parking is valet only and $5, even as a paying restaurant customer. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated and modern. We had a nice view of the outdoor pool but could not see the ocean from our seats. The service was slow but she was exceptionally friendly. The Tuna poke is a bit fishy tasting and came out about 10 minutes after the main entrees. Crème brûlée has a key lime taste which I was not expecting. Spicy fish tacos are in fact not spicy. We have come here three times in the past two months for family gatherings. It's the halfway point for some family that lives in south Florida. It's only valet parking since it's part of a resort and the resort is on the smaller side. When you walk in the restaurant is to the left in the lobby. It's very nice and you have views of the pool and water. You're allowed to walk outside and view the beach from their deck area but only resort guests are allied to go down to the beach. We've had a party of 15-17 two times we've gone. The thing that bothers me is they require our party to have a "limited menu". We are only allowed to choose between around 6-8 things. We explained that it's ok if food take longer to come but they said "this is policy". I had the mahi sandwich, and burger, and one time we had less people so we were allowed to swap to the regular menu and I ordered a pasta- Linguini Della Terra. Everything was "ok". The burger wasn't special in the least. The pasta had no type of seasoning or salt or even pepper it seemed and the mahi sandwich was ok and I thought I would like the pineapple relish but it left a lot to be desired. Nothing stood out- until I tried the flatbread and quesadilla! Both of them were amazing. The quesadillas crema sauce really adds to the pepper flavor. The goat cheese on the pizza was so delicious. Luckily the quesadilla is on the limited menu so I'll have that going forward. I like that they have sliders so my three and four year old can split a kids meal. I wish their fruit was more than just melons though. My kids are not picky but melons are their least favorite - can't say I blame them. The service isn't anything to write home about but the last time we were there it was definitely better than the times before. The waitress filled our glasses and kind of interacted with us with some personality- times before we had to ask for refills multiple times. The restaurant is good for families with little kids. They give a pack of crayons and the menu is a coloring/activity sheet. It's very clean- the bathrooms, lobby, and restaurant. They don't kick us out if it's not very busy either which has been pleasant since there isn't a whole lot to do around the area. All in all it's a nice place that prides itself in aesthetics and cleanliness. read more

The food was excellent, I had the squid ink pasta with prawns. The dining room is very pretty. We were a big group, they found it difficult to accommodate us. They sat us on the patio at first, the rain picked up pretty quickly and they tried to convince us to eat in the rain. We played along for a while but eventually we were all soaking wet and we had to draw the line. So they re-sat us inside, that took some time, though I appreciate that they were unprepared for that. The entrees came out at wildly different times, but we were all enjoying each other's company. Our main server was actually very special, if I recall correctly her name is Farran. She was so incredibly thoughtful and personable. I would return here, with fewer people. read more

We sat ourselves, not sure if that was ok, took a while to get menus but once we did it was a great experience all around. My husband ordered a salad and I ordered the chicken quesadilla. I would not recommend this place. We were really looking forward to it but were disappointed in the food and we wondered if they treated us differently since we weren't dressed up.... It was weird that you have to ask for a big cube in your old fashioned, otherwise they just give you soda ice. Unexpected at such a nice place- given bourbon old fashioned's are typically served with a large ice cube. On top that, it took us ten minutes to pay our bill at 4:30pm on a Monday. read more
