On a most recent visit, I asked about their hourly rate ($155) ahead of time. I could see my car sitting outside for a full hour while they caught up on appointments before bringing it in to the garage. An hour later (two hours total) they charged me $375--almost 2 1/2 hours of labor, and stated there was more work involved than anticipated. I'm happy to pay a good mechanic a high labor rate, but not thrilled to pay 2 1/2 hours of labor for an hour of work.
