Went here to buy supplies to fasten a rack on my bike. Wandered around for 2 mins, lost as a…read morenewborn pup, and Reuben at the front desk asked if I needed any help. Told him what I was trying to do and he took me to two metal clamping options to fasten the rack on the bike and even went out to the front to see how they would worked. He gave me tools and cut rubber lining to secure the clamps on the bike and we did it all right in the front of the shop. HUGE help! Thank you again Reuben! I was looking in bins, just because. They had fasteners, I hadn't seen before, but now I know they exist when I need that certain something in a particularly hard project. The open stock round bins brought a smile on my face as I remembered those bins as a kid going with my grandfather to the hardware store. After hearing this, I approached the owner directly to ask the same question myself and unfortunately received the same condescending attitude. It's also worth noting that there are no prices listed on items, which makes shopping unnecessarily frustrating, and if you need to return anything--unused or opened--good luck. It's disappointing to see workers treated this way, and it explains why there seems to be constant staff turnover. Customer service starts with how employees are respected, and sadly, that's lacking here. Despite the longer commute, I'll be taking my business to the other hardware store on the island moving forward.

Items to get the repair, construction, or demolition done. Most of the tools are made in Asia but for the quality and durability of the tools, it's still cheaper than the big boys. Overall five stars. If you know specifically what you want, this is the place. There is a loyalty program. IDK what it does but they got one so might as well sign up.
