2 stars for how nicely organized the store was at least. They really lack in customer service however. No one greets you when you come in. No one bothered asking me if I needed help with anything. The girl with the long hair and glasses at the cashier was rude and didn't help much when I asked her questions. However, there was a girl and then a guy at the fitting room who were really friendly. I believe those two are the friendliest out of all the workers at that store. read more

Old navy is my best friend! They always have such good roaming deals and always such good customer service. I always go back to this old navy because their service is just so superb. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are satisfied and I think that right there is the key to a successful business. It's always organized when I go in, right amount of staff and very friendly. My only con is I wish the store was bigger! read more

Cute trendy disposable clothes. Don't expect them to last more than a few washings, but then again you get what you pay for. And speaking of low expectations- their check out lane is a joke. I've never seen more than two people working no matter the length of the line (even upwards of 8-10 people). Just have low expectations and you won't be disappointed. read more

Worst service ever! I waited in line for ten minutes because they only had one register open. Then when they opened a second register I was up. I noticed a hole in the dress I was about to purchase. The girl told me to go get another one. I asked her to start ringing me up. I was back in less than 20 seconds and she was ringing the next person in line. I complained and she said hold on, rudely. I had to wait another 5 minutes while she continued to check out the customer. Meanwhile everyone behind me in line was being helped. By the time I was helped I decided not to purchase the dress. I was so upset and realized their clothes are cheap if it was already ripping. read more

First off, the location is so convenient, right next to the mall and a bunch of restaurants. The store is always nice and organized. The customer service is amazing, being greeted and asked if I need any help is very nice. Plus, there is ALWAYS stuff on clearance. I always leave the store buying something! read more

I placed an order online. Chose to pick item(s) up in store. All my items said they were available at this Arden location.Checked email to see if order was ready for pickup. (Site said 2 hours) oh got an email alright! My entire order was cancelled due to items not being in stock. Best part is the budget I spent on school clothes. Will not be refunded up to 10 days. Called here for a work emergency where I needed 5 blue-tanks and 5-black skirts. The lady on the phone took care of me right away! She knew what they had in stock and she took the time to physically find the items, and size check them for me. She even put them aside to be picked up. Every time I visit this location I dread checkout, the line is usually a mile long and takes forver to actually purchase my items and get out the door .. today however I was pleased to see that there were only 3 people ahead of me .... however the positivity quickly disappeared as I stood there for nearly 20 min while only 2 checkers worked with customers, one doing a huge return .. she even left the stand several times to grab different items and the other end doing a major purchase & starting a credit card. Several people in line around me (including myself) had infants they were trying to keep calm while no back up was called .. when it was finally my turn I came to exchange a pair of children's jeans I ordered online but needed a new size but for some reason I had a 6 cent Balance due ... even though I was just trading my jeans for another size ... This is just another reason I prefer to order online... we won't be back for a while!! read more

Suggestion would be to go early. I would only assume that the weekdays would be less foot traffic. I have only been here on the weekends and if you go from open to about 11am you will be ok. The fitting rooms will mostly be empty so there won't be a line and there isn't as many people walking around shopping. I would avoid mid day weekends because there are always a lot of people. Even if there is only a few people in front of me in line at the checkout, it always seems to be a long wait. People always seems to be returning items or having people check for online items for them which makes the lines longer and makes the wait time really long. That is the down side to not having a separate costomer service area, everyone has to wait that much longer. I haven't shopped here since I was younger and my parents took me here but I really like their workout leggings. Thats really the main thing I get and the occasion shirt if i find one at a good price. read more

I went to your store on Arden Way, Sacramento, CA, today and was treated terribly. I had three returns: one item that was purchased in a store (with receipt) and items from two separate online purchases (both with receipts). I had the items organized and presented the in store purchase/return first, as I had items I wanted to exchange. The cashier, Mandy, just started in without even asking or thinking about the transactions at all. Before I knew what happened, she had credited the in store purchase return without making the exchange. I was disappointed. It takes several days for the credit to go through and that is why I wanted to make an exchange on that purchase. Mandy quickly turned to another cashier, Alexis, who didn't ask me any questions but began telling me that exchanges can't be made with online returns. I already knew this--I wasn't the one who made the error--Mandy had. This frustrated me even more. I must also note that this comes about three weeks after another incident in your North HIghway, Sacramento, CA, location when a cashier was too busy staring at my daughter to do his job correctly and forgot to include two items. When he noticed, he post voided my transaction for around $200 and told me that it wouldn't show up on my debit card at all. I was doubtful and sure enough, it showed up on my debit card as pending for a week--holding the $200 against my balance. I don't know about you, but $200 is a significant amount when you don't have a lot of "disposable" income. When I went into the store to find out why the transaction showed up on my account, the two store managers (Rodel and Bailey) were rude, unhelpful, knowledgeable, and unprofessional. Back to today: Next, Mandy got Calli involved. Calli and Mandy thought they'd mess around with the credit that was already made to my account (have me buy the item back and then do an exchange)--no thanks! That's too much like what happened last time, so I resolved that I would not buy anything (at this point, I just wanted to get my credits and get out of the store). I told Calli, just as I had told Mandy and Alexis, that no one ever asked me if I wanted to exchange, etc. I asked Calli if they trained their cashiers because it didn't seem like it to me--there was no communication with me, no critical thinking going on, etc. They adamantly said that they do train their people. Then for some reason, Calli started putting her arm around Mandy and telling her it was OK, she should have heard the customer call she had to deal with earlier that day. Excuse me? I'm the customer and I didn't do anything wrong and why were they talking about another customer in front of me. I was not OK with this and I told them they need to stop being unprofessional and take care of the transactions at hand. Calli didn't like this (probably because she knew she was behaving poorly) and started to argue with me that she was completing the transaction. She continued to yammer on and I said enough--I felt like I was dealing with my kids so I said "knock it off and just finish the transactions." At this point, the customer that Alexis was helping started making verbally abusive comments to me because she felt some sort of affinity for the lackey cashiers. Alexis should have shut her down and redirected but she joined in making comments about me. The customer was so out of line and started saying I needed to take pills, see a therapist, get help for a mental problem, etc. Wow! Yeah, really this was all going on in front of a full store and long line! I told the woman to mind her own business, that she had no idea what was going on, what I've put up with Old Navy, and what my life was like. This woman just kept going--ironically doing the same thing to me that she was accusing me of doing to the cashiers (taking out her problems on me). She told the cashier helping her, Alexis, "I just like pushing her buttons" about me. I am pretty sure I told the woman to shut the f up at that point and Calli jumped on the opportunity to admonish me (You can't swear in my store, ma'am--but it is OK to be verbally abusive and tell customers to take pills, that they have mental issues, etc.). No one did anything about this out of line customer (my daughter was standing off to the side and was concerned because the woman was so loud, out of control, and determined to lash out at me--she thought she was going to try to hit or harm me and so she dialed 911--but your store staff was more than happy to let her be abusive). Thankfully, Calli finally got through the returns. She shoved the receipts at me as a close of the transaction. I wanted to check her work and asked her to show me what she did. She didn't. I went through the receipts to make sure she did it correctly--while the woman next door continued her diatribe and insults (she was clearly one of those people who just wanted the last word because she was spewing nonsense). Harassment. That is what happened to me outside this store today at 6:56PM. I walked up to return something, the old navy employee was standing in the window she looked at me and I couldnt tell what she was doing so I kept walking closer and this EXTREMELY RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE security guard comes out telling me, more like yelling at me, stores closed! I said, "It's not 7", he said, "why you gotta come all in my parking lot with all this problem" (are you kidding me!) I reiterated that it was not 7 and I just wanted to return something. He got all flustered and ran to my car and took picture of my license plate screaming something about a $3000 fine. I could not believe this guy! I asked him to delete the picture, give me his name, he refused it all. A nice lady from the Petco next door came and told me I should call the cops because he was harassing me, all of a sudden he said, "why don't ya'll just go on your way and everything's fine." He was a LYON security guard, older man, rude, and I will be contacting OLD NAVY's corporate office to report him. Unbelievable. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I asked a really dumb question and the guy that helped me (Tyler?) was more than willing to help me figure my size and everything out. I stopped in on my way to dinner to pick up a coat that I saw on the website and I actually came across a couple of other items that I decided to grab as well. I will say that the store was fairly organized (for Old Navy standards) but it probably helped that it was fairly empty. However, the only busy place seemed to be the cash registers. I brought my three coats and a sweatshirt up and got behind the other 4 people in line. There were two registers open helping two other customers. I figured it wouldn't take too long to get through the line but I was sadly mistaken. One woman decided to open a credit card so that took a while to get through. The other cashier must have been jealous because she decided to ask the other customer about 15 times about opening a card, explaining all the benefits, talking about how much money she could save by opening a card...all while the poor woman kept saying no. It started to feel less like a clothing store and more like a used car lot. So now the four of us in line were left to wait while the sales pitch played out. After that transaction concluded, the next woman steps up and she has some type of exchange...which also came with the credit pitch. The other register wraps up her transaction so the party in front of me steps up. Three people with a bunch of stuff to price check and then decide about...totally not the store's fault but it is clear that this isn't going to be quick. I've already been in line for 10 minutes at this point but I'm next in line so I don't want to leave now. The exchange is finally complete so I start to walk up to the register, at which point the associate looks at me, doesn't say a word, and just walks away. So I'm now left standing there awkwardly with my arms full of stuff and I finally decided that I had enough waiting. I set my stuff down on the counter and proceeded to walk out. As I neared the door, this same woman that just left the register, looks at me and says, "Have a nice night!" (which was literally the first thing any employee had said to me for my entire time in the store) so I felt compelled to respond that her poor customer service just cost the store a sale. She then tells me that there was a loss prevention issue to which I respond that, by placing the loss prevention issue before me, she now cost her store even more money. Old Navy is always a good place to find cheap, basic clothing but the website is always running some sale so I think I'll stick to the website from here on out. Really disappointing... read more

I love the dresses and the children's clothes but don't come out this way very often. I was greeted by Colin who helped me with my purchase. Very polite and friendly, which a lot of stores lack. I will be back to this store. read more
