Arrived around 4:30pm. Plenty of parking. It's an air conditioned indoor mini golf course. $12 per person for one round each. There were a few groups playing but it wasn't too crowded. It was fun and my daughter even won a free game at the end! The staff were friendly and welcoming. There are arcade games and prizes, and a few tables and chairs to sit at as well. As you can see from my last review in December 2021 this is one of two of the Old Pro indoor mini golf courses with arcade amusement areas located in Ocean City. My family likes both the 136 street and 68 street indoor mini golf course locations when the weather is not good enough for outside mini golf courses. This location is the most northern location on 136 street. My family of eight had a fun time at this Safari themed indoor mini golf course, even though the raised greens were not so level, which made it more challenging than usual. I don't recall these unlevel greens, when we last played here in 2021. Since I had some credit remaining on my Old Pro arcade amusement card, we were able to spend some time playing in the arcade amusement area after our mini golf course game. This arcade amusement area is not as good as their other indoor arcade amusement 68 street location. The arcade is better at their 68 street location. After playing I was able to redeem my arcade amusement points for two small puzzle trinkets for our two children. We agreed we will continue to return here or their other 68 street indoor location during the off season when weather is not good for outside mini golf courses. read more

So much fun! They have an outdoor mini golf course, and indoor mini golf course (for those rainy/cold days), and an indoor arcade. We stopped in for a little friendly competition and had a blast. It's a bit expensive in my opinion ($11/per person for indoor mini golf) but it's a fun little splurge. read more

Old Pro Golf is a fun family friendly activity on a rainy or sunny day in Ocean City. There are two miniature golf courses. One indoors and one outdoors with a safari theme. My kids loved this place and we enjoyed ourselves. It is $18 for unlimited golfing, but kids under 3 years old are free. It can get a bit crowded and busy, but it does move fairly quickly to go through all 18 holes. The reason I only gave this location 3 stars is that the arcade section, had games that were "out of order" and non-functional, which is a little disappointing for the kids who like to game. read more

My boyfriend and I have been to all the Old Pro Golf locations and have enjoyed all locations. This particular location has a pirate theme for the outdoor mini golf course, and a safari theme for the indoor portion. It is $10/person for the first round, but if you want to do both, you can pay $5/person to do the next round. We ended up doing both indoor and outdoor courses. Both indoor and outdoor courses were very clean. I would rate the difficulty 4/5 only because they have quite a few holes with moving obstacles, curves, zig zag obstacles, and of course, water! For it being the end of summer season, there were still groups of people, and the wait for each hole was not long. They also have a mini arcade, ice cream bars, and drink vending machines. They also have a huge parking lot that is shared with five guys next door. We overall had a great time playing mini golf! read more

Fish suffering in small, crowded tank at this location. Why have a fish at all? The employees said they aren't their tanks and they "don't know anything about it". Is Aquatic Creations responsible? They are not doing a humane job and Old Pro Golf should have nothing to do with them. It makes no sense. This doesn't keep people coming back. It will keep me away. Me and my friends had a great time here. We did the outdoor course and there was a huge pirate ship that you get to play golf inside. If you have a big group, you have to split in groups of 4 but it's okay because we were still able to stick together as one big group. Definitely hope to come back here another time read more

So, two plus years later we're back in town during the offseason and obviously there's only so much to do so why not play some indoor winter mini-golf? Just like I mentioned last time the main drawback to me is still the price. There is just no damn way this place is worth $9.50 a head in any way, shape or form in reality. Naturally though when you're the only game in town in a tourist area and it's winter you can charge extortion prices like this and get it. Also like last time the round was S-L-O-W. Lots of large groups all over which is a horrible way to have to play. We got stuck behind a group of seven and behind us was a group of nine that gummed everything up to the point that at one point there was no one behind us for seven holes while twenty-ish people were stacked up behind them. Worth mentioning is that while there is an outside course, no one is hitting that when it's thirty some degrees with a twenty plus mile per hour wind so I can't speak about the quality of that course. As for the inside course, overall it's maintained fairly well although I've played several courses that are in better shape with a more challenging design for far less dough. I also need to say that I've never been to a place where the owner (?) doesn't want your money. We had a free game coupon from our last visit and I attempted to pay extra for everyone for the unlimited play option but she told me no that the course would be getting busier as the night went on and it wouldn't be worth our time so she wasn't going to sell that option to us. OK, but when we were done aside of the that group of nine and the herd behind them the course from holes one to eight had almost no one on it. I suppose I could have gone back once we finished to try again but whatever, your loss, not mine. I get it that during summer when it's eight million degrees outside being able to play a course inside with A/C must be amazing but at the core the entire chain of courses are overpriced and when you combine that with some fairly easy holes with large cups it leaves a bad taste in your wallet in terms of getting no ROI for your putt-putt dollars. read more

My kids and I had a great time in the indoor golf course. It was a great way to have fun while it was raining in Bethany. Old Pro Golf was nice and clean. Challenging and entertaining enough for 2 teens. Everyone who worked there was very nice as well. If we had more time, we would've gone back to do the outdoor course. What an awesome location. I was with my wife's family for vacation and we were looking around for the best option. This location was close by, offered an indoor and outdoor course, and seemed well reviewed. The whole family had an amazing time on the 18 hole outdoor course. By the end, they talked about it being one of the best courses they've been to. The course was really well maintained, and offered a bunch of creative challenges that kept us laughing. For just one course, it's 10 dollars a person. They also offer double course options and unlimited play options. Highly recommend! read more

This Old Pro Golf location has 2 courses; one that is outside and has the pre-historic dinosaur thing going on as well as an indoor course that is an "under the sea" sort of theme with fish, sharks and scuba divers. How did we decide which one to play for the 3rd mini-golf match? Well, it costs $7 for one game and $10 for unlimited. The answer? PLAY BOTH. It was semi-rainy out so we could play that one while all the kiddies played the indoor one and then come back inside and play the 2nd one. So we did. We really enjoyed both courses - and we made sure not to "molest" the moving obstacles as noted in the game rules on the back of the card. Some holes were more challenging than others while some were like ridiculously easy. I'd like to take this time to point out that this is where I reallllly took the lead. I did end up winning both games and for those of you have been counting, yes, I won 3 of the 4 games and thus, making me the grand mini-golf champ of the weekend! It is also worth noting that they have "19th" holes at the end where you can win a free game of golf. It was raining a majority of our stay at OC so we had to find indoor activities to stay dry. Old pro golf is a great choice because they have both outdoor and indoor gold courses. I love the seedy old skool vibe of this place. Its like stepping into a time warp. I had as much fun taking pictures for Instagram as I did playing the course. I hope this place stays sticks around for many years to come. I reframe from giving it 5 stars based solely on price. 10 dollars a person is a little steep when other courses cost 6 to 8 dollars. They offer a couple of specials - unlimited at all courses for the day or unlimited at same location. This location also had a small arcade area and the restrooms were clean. We were hoping to have a great time mini golfing unfortunately the staff had other plans. It was past 8 and dead inside as we stated to play. We were a larger party of seven, but we saw many people in parties of five or more and decided to stick as one group. The management saw this and decided to make us the example. Rather than telling us privately that we were in a too large of a group they decide to publicly, shame us by screaming, and insulting us based on how large our group was. We proceeded to brush it off and split in two groups. If the insulting wasn't enough they decided stalk our groups throughout the course. We complained about this, but we were threatened to be kicked out, so we complied. Based on this experience it is safe to assume this place is not very family friendly unless you want to be insulted, stalked, and belittled. Don't was your time here I'm sure watching paint dry would be a better family bonding experience than this. read more

Every year my fiancé and I make sure we play a round of mini golf at a different place even though I kick his butt no matter what. Lol this course was nice and pirate themed. Tonight it was packed at 9:15 when we got there and it took us an hour and a half to get through so I suggest going earlier. It was a good variety of easy holes and some tricky ones with moving parts. Regardless it was a fun time and there looked to be stuff inside as well. read more

Caribbean Pirates is the outdoor theme and Safari Village is the indoor theme. I highly recommend getting the day pass which gets you access to all the other Old Pro Golf locations. This location seems to be the newest of the mini courses. It also has the most challenging rounds. Where some of the other locations had mini greens which tipped the ball in, these greens had dips or slight inclines to curve the ball away. Still loads of fun and thoroughly enjoyed this Old Pro location as well as tge others. read more

3.5 stars Old Pro has 4 locations in OC, and clearly they are a mini-golf staple here. This particular location features an indoor under water themed course, as well as an outdoor dinosaur themed course. I'm not sure if it's just on the off-season, but you can often get a pass for unlimited play at all Old Pro locations, which is an excellent deal, assuming you like mini golf as much as I do. As far as course quality, the indoor course offers a nice escape from the hot summer weather, or cold and rainy spring/fall weather. I've come here mostly in the off-season as it's one of the only ones that's open, and the only one that's indoors in the entire area. Course quality is generally good, but I feel like they've focused more on aesthetics than course design. Most of the holes have very little strategy associated with them, and your main goal is to just hit your first shot at a reasonable speed, and then make a short 2-3 foot putt. Hardly any risks, and hardly any obstacles. The outdoor course is much better, in my opinion. Many of the dinosaurs have been freshly painted, and it feels rejuvenated and clean. The course design is a little better, and more fun and challenging, require more skill than luck. It's worth noting that both courses feature a 19th hole for the bonus hole. I despise when mini-golf courses have the 18th hole as the last hole where you try to win a free game. How the heck do you score a hole like that?? It just throws everything off and causes controversy among competitive players. 3 stars for the indoor course 4 stars for the outdoor course read more

This place is trash. The inside is pretty nice but it looks like they just don't give a shit about the outside. They have to fix the net on hole 13 because I got a 3 because my ball went through the net when I should've got a hole in 1. Hole 15 was really fucked up, and one hole in the beginning was broken because the prop didn't even move. And hole 18 was fucked up because it had an indent in the green shown in my picture displayed. Overall I wouldn't advise coming here and wasting your money, and hold 19 is rigged. read more

We ventured down to Old Pro on a particularly hot day. Since it was just Chickadee and me, I decided to let her play while I offered to be her caddy. I didn't know this ahead of time, but kids 3 and under play for free. Bonus! On the back 9, there are a couple of areas where you can stand under the cool mist (of course, the mist comes from the artificially blue water, so we were probably covered with chemicals--oh well). Old Pro Golf is like an old friend in Ocean City. They are there for you when you need some mini golf while on vacation after a nice long sunny day at the beach. The Pirate's course is outside and is on the busy side during nice weather. Old Pro has opened an indoor section now, which I have not played because I remember when there were three courses to choose from outside and I liked that! Also, late June normally has very nice weather, so it's best to take advantage of it. The courses offer a good challenge with many different thought-proving obstacles and lots of moving parts and funny pirate characters everywhere. It's fun for all ages from young to young at heart (oh yes that has been said many times, but it's true!). Give Old Pro a good ole' mini golf shot and I'm sure you won't be disappointed! read more

3.5 stars.... I am rounding up to four stars because Old Pro has rejuvinated my faith in my mini golf skills. So yea, its mini golf. The decorations are corny, the caevemnt are pretty much "unisexual" as its impossible to determine if they are men or women without closely examining their body hair and cleavage status, and the course its not the most challenging. But its still a good time. Its not like the place is falling apart or in disrepair.. its just in need of an update. I like that there is an indoor course. While its kind of got a musty smell, but if its raining its a great option. Prices are definitely decent. Yea $7 for a single game is expensive. But you can pay $10 and play unlimited at that location or $15 and play unlimited at all of the old pro locations. I think thats an amazing deal! Especially if you are as awesome as i am an are able to sink the final hole in one (on both courses.... in the bobcat/sabertooth tiger mouth AND in the clam mouth). So basically i played both my games for free :) and i will definitely be back! read more

If you're in Ocean City and like mini-golf, this particular location has two important benefits: 1) Two courses at one location; 2) One of which is indoor and air conditioned. Reason (1) is good because the $10 "unlimited play" option ($9 with the omnipresent coupon) gets you 2 courses; all the other locations have one. Reason (2) is important given the penchant for ungodly humidity and random afternoon thunderstorms in Maryland (Our Motto: Don't like the weather? Wait ten minutes!). Ocean City is not rainy-day friendly - this, the arcades and Trimper's Rides on the Boardwalk, and the Laser Tag place are about all you can do on a wet miserable day. The only drawback to this place is the restrooms - they are STANKY. As in, the kid who still craps in his diapers with no qualms gagged on the air in the ladies' room. This is weird, because we were there early (so it shouldn't have had time to get all cruddy). Also, the rest of the place is really clean. Who knows. read more

Brings the price to $7.50. 18 quick holes of golf, you can finish within 35-40 minutes if there are only minimal waits. I found the course to be not challenging whatsoever. Smaller and more compact course. Maybe 4 cool holes with moving parts and a chute going up 1 story to the 2nd floor. Overall, not too impressive for me but it was fun. read more

Much more fun than the other golf courses I've been to! That's including another Old Pro Golf course we visited while we're in Ocean City - the Temple of Dragons. We played the outdoor course today, the one with the pirates. This course offers more challenges than the dragons did, such as water hazards (with a rod waiting to retrieve stray golf balls,) spinning, swinging, opening and closing obstacles, and generally more creative holes to play. We didn't try the indoor course today, but it looks great and would be wonderful for a rainy day. The last hole offers a chance to win a free game of golf if you can get the golf ball in the treasure chest (it was a dragon's mouth at the other-and easier.). The pirate themed course on 136th street is one of the originals, and after playing a round recently the nostalgic sap in me says "this used to be WAY better!" Where is the hole where you hit the ball off the plank? Or across the gangway, over the water and onto the ship? This used to be a way more challenging, unique course, but seems to have been "dumbed down" when it was renovated, I guess for the sake of making it more family friendly to the hordes who come through and think its a good idea for their 3 year old to swing a golf club. The youngin's might think it's a little weird or "retro," but every Old Pro course is quite cleverly designed and harkens back to a more innocent time in Ocean City's history. So... nostalgic sap gives this course 5 stars because she was trying to relive her childhood and anything short of the course being entirely leveled would warrant a 5 star rating. Although we were told our party of 6 hard to split in to two parties of 3 we still were able to play together. We chose to do the indoor course just because the line for the outdoor course was super long. Kids enjoyed it. Its well maintained although a bit humid. Holes were great some more difficult than others. There is an upper deck to the course which is not wheel chair or stroller friendly. Pop in law got a hole in one on the last hole so he got a ticket for a free game that never expires. I guess we will be going back the next time we visit OCMD. They have ice cream bars, vending machines, and a game room. Indoor course is like a jungle theam with hippos, apes, alligators, etc. The outdoor course is pirate themed and has a big pirate ship you have to go on top of too. Grounds looked nice and parking a plenty. TIP: Coupon for a dollar off per player are available in the little coupon books/travel stands located at most of your hotels. read more

The indoor golf course is very basic - best for 6-8 year old kids. We went mid day on a non weekend day, and it wasn't crowded at all. The arcade is pretty basic too, but does the trick for small kids I guess. The employees were very friendly and the service was good. read more
