Always a solid choice in Bensalem. Most pizza places around here are hit or miss, but they're very consistent here for pizza and wings.

I had to laugh at the photo showing of the soup guy, because the owner is very much brash with a bit of attitude, but the pizza is still well Worth the visit.

The staff is well trained, extremely friendly and most of all very willing to explain the daily specials or regular menu choices. The chef/owner, Robert Angelaccio, has been in the food industry for many years and it clearly shows. He regularly mingles with his patrons and really cares about your dining experience. His special expertise lies in his seasonings and sauces which are excellent. The Roasted Beet Salad and/or the Brussels Sprouts are just two of our favorite appetizers. Some of our favorite entries are the Mussels, Oslo Bucco, Flat Iron Steak, Vodka Rigatoni and the various Seafood specials to name just a few. Robert's wife, Alison, is the dessert chef and her offerings are quite scrumptious, so try to leave room for dessert which won't be easy. Their food is so good, we have had Annabella's cater many of our family events.

The wait staff were friendly & accommodating, we has 3 young woman who provided excellent service. The owner came out twice to check on us, he truly cares about his business. We enjoyed riceballs & a bread appetizer, mouthwatering deliciousness. The vodka rigatoni is the BEST I have eaten!! And the chicken parm was perfect. We enjoyed chocolate and cherry gelato, heaven. And the owner brought us an extra serving of limoncello gelato, yum yum yum. My first time at Annabellas will not be my last. The evening ended with a delightful stroll by the river, only a short walk from the restaurant. Support locally owned businesses like Annabellas - you will be happy you do!!

All of the issues were food related, not service. I ordered the chicken parmesan. My friends order the salmon and the seafood manicotti. My friend's salmon was perfect, the rest not so much. I could not cut the chicken parm with my knife, that is how tough it was. I demonstrated this to our server who offered a steak knife but I declined. The chicken was just as hard to chew as it was to cut. My friend's seafood manicotti was very fishy and clearly not fresh seafood. She ate half of hers and ended up just not finishing the rest. The server did offer to get us other options but we had a show at parx and didn't have time to wait for new entrees. I do think this location is beautiful. The garden room where we sat was lovely and the waterfall outside was a beautiful view. The prices were a little higher than most local Italian places. Between the higher prices and the food issues I described I probably will not return.

This is not a pizza joint but Italian Done Right and the dining room is cozy but you won't care. Fair warning they are always busy but so worth the wait. Don Cheech (cheesesteak) plenty of meat, juicy, cheesy and the bread is oh so good, French fries are solid with or without the truffles. They make homemade Arancini and it's delicious as is their burrata caprese. Then there is the meatball salad with ricotta or their Ceasar salad are crisp and filling with house made dressings. Every pizza I have seen looks amazing but I haven't gotten to them yet. I had the gnocchi mi nini amazingly creamy and light and their eggplant parmesan the eggplants was perfectly crisp and cooked perfectly. No mushy eggplant here. If you have any room left (we had dessert first one day) the tiramisu is delicious and so worth every calorie. The servers are very nice and have not had any issues plus the owners are waiting tables too with them. Don't be surprised to hear Italian spoken here it just adds to the experience.

Its a good value, $16 for a heavy sandwich. 2 ppl or one obese person can be satisfied off it. Roll was decent but it got ruined from the large amount of seed oil they added into the cooking process. The roll actually split along the sides as i was eating it - violation. Grilled onions were under-cooked and way too many added. Customer service was good. Friendly ppl. Smells amazing in the restaurant. Provolone sharp is great. Much better option than cooper and its harder to find but Carmelas had it. Overall decent steak but it didnt meet expectations for me

We waited close to an hour for our entrees while the restaurant continued to fill up. With a hungry toddler, the long delay made it difficult to enjoy the visit. After waiting so long, we ultimately asked to have our food packed to go because staying any longer wasn't practical for our family. We also noticed that several nearby tables appeared to receive their entrees before we did, despite arriving after us, which left us feeling overlooked. As Asian and Puerto Rican customers, this made us wonder whether we were being treated differently. We can't know for certain what caused the delay, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal. (Edit: the food that we took home was delicious and beautifully presented but couldn't overshadow the service and unwelcoming presence)

I first tried some take out from them when my husband and I just moved into the area, & I was trying to get a feel for the good food spots. What I got was ehhhhh not memorable. It confused both of us that it seemed like a nice building, but the parking lot was never full- even on the weekends. A girlfriend of mine was visiting this evening, and we originally wanted to venture to Curtains Wharf for an outdoor on the water experience. An hour and a half wait, no thank you, and I said hey, let's go to Il Portico-been meaning to. Inside is very dated. It's got the vibes of a 1950's Italian cigar lounge. Again not busy, maybe 5 or 6 tables the whole twoish hours we were there. However, the staff seemed to really be trying to accommodate you, everyone was polite and helpful. A cocktail list and wine by glass list would really go far. We got some bread for the table, some of it was kind of rock hard & looked day old, but some of what looked like focaccia bread was good. We got excited for carpaccio on the apps side, but were disappointed to find it wasn't beef, but salmon (?) in an Italian restaurant? Odd. And we also saw a lot of Tuna options for entrees, again, odd. I did want steak originally, but NY strip isn't my fave, and I opted for Veal Medallions- very good. Sauce was delicious, veggies cooked just fine. $12 for an Arugula starter salad with legit, one tomato wedge was again ... odd. My friend had the beet salad and Branzino special, said they were both good. Only off thing was her Old Fashioned had the coloration of a Shirley Temple, but the flavor was on par and good. A couple weird little moments but we really enjoyed ourselves & would love to return.
