Saw this place in passing last night and decided I'd get breakfast there in the morning. Walked in to find three lovey staff and no customers. They joked that they really were open (it was after 10 AM). Sadly they were out of French toast bagels, so I had a honey oat sausAge breakfast bagel and coffee. The order came quickly, and the barista even brought it out to me. Good, tender, flavorful bagel, and really good coffee. I was very happy with my choices. So, the bagel my wife and I ordered was tasty but, one thing we did not like was that the bagel appeared to be microwaved instead of toasted. Which makes sense since the cashier asked if we wanted the bagels "heated up." I just assumed that meant toasted. Other than that, it was fine. Busy as for us, we'll try to find a bagel that is for sure toasted. read more

The slowest and worst location. Doesn't matter if there are 5 cars in line or no cars in line. Expect 45+ wait through the drive thru.

Customer service at the counter was poor. Asked for two bagels sliced and toasted, with cream cheese. The bagel was lightly toasted, enough to color it, but the bagel was still stale and soft. Cream cheese was 1/16th of an inch thick, enough to satisfy the "it comes with cream cheese" requirement. If you want a bagel, go to Panera. read more

Damn good bagels and the place was clean and service was good the only caveat I have was the employees don't wear uniforms so they are free to wear what they would like which is a cool move but when one of the employees is covered in pet hair then it becomes a health issue. The food is always good, of course. But every single time I have gone, they've messed up my drink order. They'll ask if I ordered a drink, or they'll just forget to give it to me and I have to remind them. Just went through the drive thru window. Asked what drink I had, and I said, 'Carmel macchiato. Iced.' and she closed the window on me and someone else made it. She then handed me a hot drink and I said, 'Oh no sorry it's iced.' and she said, 'oh.' and made me an iced one and handed it to me. Tasted very sweet, so I was confused. When I got home I poured my drink into a clear cup, to see how light/dark it was. Extremely light, as if they didn't add any coffee. Very unsatisfied. read more

Top notch! This newly opened Bagel Cafe knocks it out of the park. Their customer service is amazing and they go out of their way to make the customer happy. Their bagels and sandwiches are incredibly fresh. Their turkey avocado sandwich has a healthy amount of fresh avocado added which makes this my favorite sandwich. The restaurant is beautifully designed and their convenient drive thru is a major plus. They should be a role model for other newly opened restaurants who have so many kinks to iron out. This location needs to get it together. I've been here 4 times in a row now that my order isn't even close. I'll order plain bagels but get "everything" bagels, I won't even receive cream cheese or a knife, etc. save yourself the hassle and go to literally any other location. read more

I don't know who's in charge of management but you guys need to get it together. This used to be such a convenient place to grab a bagel to eat but now it's just complete chaos & even the quality of the food has tragically gone down the drain. I realized the only type of people that work here are freshman/sophomores from high school which is no surprise. These are the people you don't have to pay as much but they do everything you tell them to do. It's not their fault but these "employees" are inexperienced, slow, & seem to have difficulty reacting to their surroundings. I come here every Sunday & , of course, every Sunday there seems to go something wrong. Why don't I just go somewhere else? Because I had hope for this business, it was once such a good place to go to. But I'm sure this is the last time I'll be coming here. There's either an enormous line both inside & "to go", my order is completely wrong, or they just blatantly forget your entire order. I once placed one bagel to go, drove to the place, went inside, paid for the ONE bagel and sat down for about 20 minutes until they realized they had forgotten about it. Another time I ordered a breakfast bagel, picked it up through the drive thru, got home and realized they had given me one random plain bagel with nothing on it, not even cut in half lmao. Another thing, they have a pretty cool coffee menu w various types of coffees, but no one actually knows how to make them. I would rather you guys not offer iced coffee if all you're gonna give me is half a cup w ice and the other half with disappointment. Also, I found what seemed to be an eyelash ? My wife and I love this place. We like all the Old School Bagel stores but this is our favorite. The food is always excellent and we love the music that is played here. For breakfast my wife loves their breakfast sandwich and I prefer a double toasted sesame bagel with honey almond cream cheese. They also have great coffee. The turkey sandwich is great for lunch. The staff is also very polite and anxious to help. read more

Well ive called this location for the past 2 days almost every hour to see if I can get someone in catering for a breakfast meeting that my boss is having. This is the location that he would like to use since it is close to his home. However NO ONE ever answers. I have even checked the other location to verify if its the correct number. I will attempt to call this afternoon when I know they cant be busy. After that I will take the order elsewhere. read more

First time, I love bagel sandwich shops but not this one.. The bagel was chewy then they use substandard meat, I ordered the bricktown it has pastrami and mozzarella spicy mustard, very little of everything, added tomato and payed extra NO tomato, will not return to this place again!!! read more

I go in here every weekend, my friends and I go on a 10 mile bike ride and after we stop at Old School Bagel, its our tradition. Every time we come in the manager always puts a smile on our face by knowing our orders and names and asks us how our ride was. One time it started raining on our ride and we showed up soaked and the manager came to the front door with towels for us to dry off. We sit outside on the patio and enjoy our coffee and bagels. This place is great for a good early morning breakfast or coffee. In specific my favorite is the sooner club (it's a must have lunch bagel). The employees are mostly great, especially the young girl by the name of Morgan (she is very good with customers and knows my order, name, and familyorders). My only complaint is that the lobby is almost always dirty and the tables tend to not be clean (obviously they're busy though). read more

Yes and no. The new building and the atmosphere look great. Nice and clean. However, we were told the wait would be around 20 minutes before ordering. And it's not the wait that was the biggest issue, it's the fact that we ordered a coffee and a fountain drink and we were told to get a seat with out either because they would bring them to us. After ten minutes of not having a drink, I saw another customer approach the counter with his coffee cup for a refill and got one in seconds. So I'm sitting at the table thinking, how is it ok for that guy to walk up and get a refill yet I have to sit here without a drink after ordering ten minutes ago. So we went up to the counter and asked for our drinks again and got them. Other old school bagel cafes have the fountain and coffee machines available for customers to self serve. This one should consider going that route since the staff is obviously overwhelmed making bagels and pouring drinks at the same time. read more

I visited this place for the first time last week. I met a friend, had the avocado bagel and a sugar free vanilla latte. The food was good, so the next day, I ran through the drive through for another sugar free vanilla latte. I noticed I was charged much more than what was on the board. So I asked why. Evidently, they charge 75 cents extra for a splash of sugar free vanilla versus regular sugar vanilla. I found the bill from the day before and I was charged extra then, too. Who does that??? Are they that greedy and sneaky? It is a deal breaker for me and I won't go back. read more

Such a shame because we love the Covell location! This one is being ran terribly! Took forever to order and over 25 minutes to receive our bagels. Once we got them, there were a few tiny slivers of meat on a $7 BAGEL. Ten minutes later we were given what we paid for which a pathetic "sorry". Bagel was good, but will never be back. read more

Broadway location is way better! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but when it gets busy the staff does not seem to be trained to handle the rush. Ordered an avocado sunrise and could barely even see or taste the avocado on it! Also saw a lady on the line with gloves on walk outside to the patio to deliver someone's bagel without taking off the gloves she touched the door handles going in and out then walked right back into the line to handle everyone else's food without changing out gloves!?! Gross. Will continue to come to old school bagel but definitely not this location. read more

i have always been a huge fan of old school bagel. when i heard that there was a new location right by my house i was a static. but unfortunately this location is not very good. the other locations make very good bagels but everytime i go to this location they barely but any cream cheese on my bagel or get my order wrong. i totally recommend old school bagel but don't come to this one read more
