    Everything bagel with cream cheese

When OSB on Hefner opened 10 years ago, it was absolutely the best bagel spot in the city. These days? The sister locations are hit or miss. Meh. Underwhelming. Not special. When this 23rd street location opened originally they had a solid staff and one man in particular who made that place extremely personable and enjoyable. Even the staff seemed to be happy to have such enthusiastic leadership. I'm not sure what happened to him, he hasn't been there since right before 2020. The quality of the bagels is...well, they aren't terrible but they aren't as advertised. OSB tells folks that their bagels are water boiled and a process they've "meticulously replicated in their stores". I know that was true years ago, but these days highly suspect that these bagels are coming from delivery trucks. Water boiled bagels are notoriously chewy and delightful (I've made some myself) and these bagels are not. You barely get cream cheese spread on your bagel. Basically this place is OK. That's it. Just OK. I cannot speak on the ambiance of the restaurant itself since I haven't been in since prior to Covid. The past few times I've ordered it has been pick up or delivery. Unfortunately this will be the last chance I give OSB on 23rd.

This is a great little place for a bagel in Oklahoma City. They have quite the variety, including some gluten-free variations. I particularly liked the cream cheese. On one occasion I ordered a bagel with blueberry cream cheese and it wasn't sickeningly sweet. It was delicious. The coffee is excellent too! They are doing a nice job with the Covid thing. Tables outside are spaced apart and masks are required. This is one of the few places I stopped at twice on my visit. Definitely a good one!

My Sunday morning go to!! I feel like the breakfast bagels are lacking somehow (probably the egg...), but I still order them half the time. You have the option to order them on any bagel, but honestly, I think plain is the best. Everything is fun, but their salt bagel was overwhelming. Boyfriend loves the Firecracker. My sweet go to is the cinnamon raisin with honey almond cream cheese -- so so yummy. They have Eote coffee on drip, and the regular coffee cup is still massive! I've caved and gotten an iced latte a few times, and they're solidly fine, but they never feel correct like a normal drip coffee does. The service is quick. I love the upstairs loft area for a quiet morning sit. They have a fireplace up there! So casual here. I come here very often.

I'm a frequent flyer at this location out of convenience, but I just don't feel like this location lives up to the glory of the one in Norman. I'm a die hard fan of the one in Norman and I think they are a solid 10/10 even on bad days. Usually they are a 20/10. I know this information isn't the most helpful, but it's the best way I can describe this place. Overall, underwhelming compared to the Norman location. However, it's an okay pit stop if you're having a ragingly hormonal hankering for a bagel. At this location, the bagels are usually just okay. They can be hit or miss depending on the day. Sometimes they can appear a bit old and sparsely seasoned. The hot sandwiches are usually a disappointment, so I would recommend that you stick with a toasted bagel and cream cheese combo or a cold sandwich. My favorite combination from here so far has been the toasted everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese. This is good and an overall good deal! It is only about $3.00 for a pretty filling and portable breakfast.

Yelp failed me this time. I read all the good reviews and decided to try this place but was disappointed. Very happening place in OKC so prepare to wait where your order your food. I ordered breakfast sausage, egg and a cheese on a jalapeño bagel. It was ok, nothing impressive. The eggs was fake , not freshly cooked. Meat lover bagel on blueberry was hard and chewy to eat. I was not impressed with their banana or chocolate muffin either, not fresh at all. I could barely eat it. May it is just my taste bud, but I have had a better bagels.

Super hidden from the main road (23rd) but it's worth the stop! Best bagels I've had in okc by far. Tons on customization options too

The service has gotten a lot better - my recent order was right and the long line moved well. Also the bagels are still just as good.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant is worth trying!! I recommend going at an off time because it was packed!! There's an option to do half a sandwich. The menu doesn't disclose that you can only do that on cold sandwiches. That's nice they do that but if you wait in line 25 mins with your menu item in mind but they won't do the halvsie thing it's frustrating. Especially since the sandwiches are mostly all over $14. So then you have to make a split second decision and order something else you sorta wanted but not really. I say that bc I originally wanted a hot sandwich but I can't eat a whole one. When they wouldn't let me do that with the half of a sandwich I decided to try to do that with the Bruce, which was the monthly special turns out I couldn't do that either. All in all it was a great experience and I liked my sandwich. My wife LOVED hers. We will definitely be back!! Wifey tip: order water to drink. They don't have soda on fountain so you pay $4 for bottled stuff you buy at On Cue. Not worth it.

They also wouldn't heat up the savory bun, which was disappointing. It would've been much better warm, but the cashier said no and clearly didn't care. Service was speedy, but our cashier was unfriendly. The coffee was overpriced and too sweet, and it needed stirring--but you can't stir it with the boba lid. On top of that, we had to order coffee separately and pay twice, which felt inconvenient. Even after ordering at the kiosk, our hot coffee somehow came out iced... oops. (Yes, it clearly says iced on the receipt - so obviously we missed something.) We also had to clean our own table, even though it wasn't busy. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us. It doesn't hold a candle to Tous Les Jours.

You can really tell everything is baked fresh that morning. The textures are spot on--soft, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their drink menu is near-perfection. Both the Milk Tea and Thai Tea taste incredibly authentic, which is hard to find around here. They aren't just sugar-bombs; you can actually taste the quality of the tea. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is a safety concern for those with allergies. Unlike Tous Les Jours, which clearly lists ingredients/allergens by each pastry, 85°C is a bit more vague at the display. As someone who has to be careful about what's in my food, I'd love to see them adopt a more transparent labeling system so I don't have to guess or ask for every item. The Verdict: Delicious, fresh, and a must-visit for your pastry fix. Just be cautious if you have specific dietary restrictions!

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
