I've been to the OSB in Tulsa, so it's surprising I hadn't tried this location yet. The space felt a bit gloomy and there was an odd smell when we walked in. The service really stood out. The woman at the counter was incredibly friendly and joyful, and the staff member who brought our food was also very kind. I ordered the lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. The flavors were good, but the bagel itself was hard. My fiancé had the breakfast bagel, which was just okay, though his bagel was noticeably softer than mine. Im trying to reach corporate. The last 3 times I've eaten at your business, ive tasted fabuloso cleaner. I just ate at your piedmont ok location amd i actually got sick afterwards. You can taste it in the sandwich. It happened at the edmond location, i left a message there on their number, no-one called me back. Now today, same thing. Called ams talked to mgr, she said they've had 3 complaints about the same this week. Now, i am not sure why you ise such a horrible, cheap and strong scented cleaner, but i plan to expose this and test my sandwich at the health department. Im calling everyone that i think can help. This place serves the best bagels & bagel sandwiches and their Wasabi Bomb is out of this world! Amazing spicy wasabi flavored cream cheese with salmon, lox, tomatoes and cucumbers plus maybe some alfalfa sprouts - truly bomb and the most delicious bagel sandwich evar! Exceptional, prompt and attentive service where the food & drink (I also got an iced chai tea latte which was incredible) to you. When OSB on Hefner opened 10 years ago, it was absolutely the best bagel spot in the city. These days? The sister locations are hit or miss. Meh. Underwhelming. Not special. When this 23rd street location opened originally they had a solid staff and one man in particular who made that place extremely personable and enjoyable. Even the staff seemed to be happy to have such enthusiastic leadership. I'm not sure what happened to him, he hasn't been there since right before 2020. The quality of the bagels is...well, they aren't terrible but they aren't as advertised. OSB tells folks that their bagels are water boiled and a process they've "meticulously replicated in their stores". I know that was true years ago, but these days highly suspect that these bagels are coming from delivery trucks. Water boiled bagels are notoriously chewy and delightful (I've made some myself) and these bagels are not. You barely get cream cheese spread on your bagel. Basically this place is OK. That's it. Just OK. I cannot speak on the ambiance of the restaurant itself since I haven't been in since prior to Covid. The past few times I've ordered it has been pick up or delivery. I used to love this place. When they first opened, the guy who ran it was super nice and the bagels were tasty. They were chewy on the inside and had a nice crisp outside. These days, they're just gummy. Also, if you ask for "toasted", it might mean microwaved or toasted to the point of being burnt. Either way, it's just gross. Now, the staff is pleasant sometimes. However, I'm usually there first thing in the morning and I think that's part of the problem. The store is supposed to open at 6 AM, but they rarely make that opening time because they're waiting for their bagels to be delivered. They're NOT open by 6 more often than they are. The driver sometimes shows up a few minutes after 6 but sometimes I cruise by at 6:15 or 6:20 and they're still not open. Once the delivery guy unloads the bagels, the ladies working at the store have to haul them in and unload them into the bins while the delivery driver hangs out and makes his coffee so I get that they are rushed and might not be in the best mood. This is a chronic problem. Either change your hours or leave enough time for the deliveries to take place prior to opening. read more

Freshly made bagels in an industrial space that also offers coffee? I'm in! While road-tripping I was in need of a pick me up and a bagel. I went out of my way to go here and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the everything bagel with one of their several cream cheese shmears. It was light and fluffy and oh so satisfying. The coffee was hot and very flavorful as well. The staff was kind and my bagel came out in record time. There is free parking in the back, indoor seating, and a bathroom if you need it. I can't say anything bad about this place. read more

However I noticed this location was much hotter than my usual spot, when I asked about it I was told A/C unit was faulty. The bagel was okay. Just a microwaved bagel, avocado portion was small for the price. But not horrible. The service however was the worst I've ever experienced, they were actually aggressively rude. We accidentally grabbed the wrong bag and immediately turned around to correct it but the guy up front was super hostile and didn't care that it was wrong. When his coworker brought us our order he grabbed the wrong bag out of my hands and gave it to the correct group without even looking in it. I tried to tell him I opened those sandwiches but he walked away. I wouldn't be happy getting food that a stranger has touched. read more

This is a great little place for a bagel in Oklahoma City. They have quite the variety, including some gluten-free variations. I particularly liked the cream cheese. On one occasion I ordered a bagel with blueberry cream cheese and it wasn't sickeningly sweet. It was delicious. The coffee is excellent too! They are doing a nice job with the Covid thing. Tables outside are spaced apart and masks are required. This is one of the few places I stopped at twice on my visit. Definitely a good one! read more

What do you even say about a place where you used to eat every morning? Half a decade ago I would exercise at the Anytime every morning, shower, and then get a bagel and coffee. This morning I came back for the first time in years. The bagel sandwiches are not quite what you might find at the best places in the Northeast, but they're quite good. Note, you can pretty liberally substitute things for the menu items--for example, always get the Habanero jack instead of the American cheese. The prices have gotten wild. Five years ago I could get an egg/cheese bagel and a coffee for under $5. Now that's almost double. So it's definitely a rare treat instead of something I would do every day. And, they made my favorite bagel (the honey oat) an extra $.30. The space here on 23rd Street is a great place for a meeting over coffee and bagels, especially on the second floor. It's a place I love but not a place I frequent any more. read more

My Sunday morning go to!! I feel like the breakfast bagels are lacking somehow (probably the egg...), but I still order them half the time. You have the option to order them on any bagel, but honestly, I think plain is the best. Everything is fun, but their salt bagel was overwhelming. Boyfriend loves the Firecracker. My sweet go to is the cinnamon raisin with honey almond cream cheese -- so so yummy. They have Eote coffee on drip, and the regular coffee cup is still massive! I've caved and gotten an iced latte a few times, and they're solidly fine, but they never feel correct like a normal drip coffee does. The service is quick. I love the upstairs loft area for a quiet morning sit. They have a fireplace up there! So casual here. I come here very often. read more

I'm a frequent flyer at this location out of convenience, but I just don't feel like this location lives up to the glory of the one in Norman. I'm a die hard fan of the one in Norman and I think they are a solid 10/10 even on bad days. Usually they are a 20/10. I know this information isn't the most helpful, but it's the best way I can describe this place. Overall, underwhelming compared to the Norman location. However, it's an okay pit stop if you're having a ragingly hormonal hankering for a bagel. At this location, the bagels are usually just okay. They can be hit or miss depending on the day. Sometimes they can appear a bit old and sparsely seasoned. The hot sandwiches are usually a disappointment, so I would recommend that you stick with a toasted bagel and cream cheese combo or a cold sandwich. My favorite combination from here so far has been the toasted everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese. This is good and an overall good deal! It is only about $3.00 for a pretty filling and portable breakfast. read more

Yelp failed me this time. I read all the good reviews and decided to try this place but was disappointed. Very happening place in OKC so prepare to wait where your order your food. I ordered breakfast sausage, egg and a cheese on a jalapeño bagel. It was ok, nothing impressive. The eggs was fake , not freshly cooked. Meat lover bagel on blueberry was hard and chewy to eat. I was not impressed with their banana or chocolate muffin either, not fresh at all. I could barely eat it. May it is just my taste bud, but I have had a better bagels. read more

First off, I do not appreciate the lady with red hair being rude to my daughter. My child has autism and doesn't like bagels, she likes croissants and the woman behind the counter made her feel guilty for her texture issue. She also rushed us and there was no one here! Speed of service isn't an issue if you don't have customers in your store. Second off, the restroom was disgusting. it's 9:30 am and you can tell last nights crew or this mornings crew didn't touch it. there was hair all over the sink, poo on the toilet and toilet paper and paper towel all over the floor. there was a layer of grime on the sink that's been there for at least a week! Every day the bagels are new and #yumyumyum. This was an "online order and pick up in person" experience for me and it did not disapoint. The website was easy to navigate and I didn't even have to type in "www" to get to the site. I just searched "thick round bread" on google and this was one of the top results. Not exactly what I was looking for but such a pleasant surprise! I got the Sooner Club even though I'm an Oklahoma State Cowboys fan. The club was delicious and didn't come with any of the entitlement typically associated with Oklahoma's earliest and most current criminals. It mostly just came with turkey. They did offer me a silver spoon on the side but I just used my hands. I had it on a jalepeno cheddar bagel and added mayonaise which was a max clutch move because it made the sandwhich good. My hubby & I get the bakers doz (13) bagels here to take home & put in the freezer bc they are the only bagels in the area that are authentic boiled bagels, just like in NYC. The service was great, from the cashier that took our orders, to the server who brought out of food. We all opted for a breakfast bagel, which I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great breakfast. With this you get to choose your bagel and choice of meat: sausage, bacon, or ham. They'll toast your bagel and add an egg and cheese alongside your meat. My bagel was delicious and kept me energized for the rest of my day. Staff was not personable or friendly at all. That was probably my biggest issue with this place. No greeting, no smile, very cold and clipped when responding to our questions. We asked for a cheddar bagel and they only have cheddar with jalapeños-okay we will take it. Get our sandwich, the club, not a single jalapeño on it ‍. We asked for it toasted and it was barely that and not very tasty. The interior was sparse, but fine if you needed a spacious place to study. It does have a cool little loft that is nice. I'm just surprised that a bagel place doesn't have that many types of bagels - I think they had 9+. They did have a coffee bar as well, but we did not partake in it. read more

Over the years, I've come to accept that while Old School is not really a New York bagel experience, it's the closest thing I will get in this city. Let's talk about the good. They don't skimp on toppings. They do a good sized schmear. They have a good variety of bagels and toppings. Their prices are more than reasonable, their staff is friendly but fast, and their rewards program is actually really good. I usually switch between the lox bagel and a sausage/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich, both of which are delicious. There's a lot of seating at this location, which is great because it gets crowded. Also has a decent amount of parking early in the morning. What's not good? They don't use real toasters. They have some sort of weird microwave/toaster thing. I assume it's some sort of convection thing? I don't know. I hate them. Please get real toasters. A real toaster does magical things to a bagel. Overall though, it's the best. read more

This is my bi-weekly lunch go to spot and I always say I'm going to try something different, but I don't. I get a Mile High on plain bagel with mustard (yellow), lettuce, tomato, onion. Turkey, ham, Salami, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Onions Piled a Mile High! Served Hot or Cold. I prefer mine cold. They have salads, other sandwich choices and just about any flavor bagel and cream cheese you want. The atmosphere is pleasant. I take my Kindle and read. They also have upstairs seating. I love this place and the staff. They are open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 3pm. read more
