It was a bit chilly so we sat inside even though the outside patio was heated. It was a good choice because it was a little breezy. We shared the okra as an appetizer, it was as good as I remembered! They had a special which we both decided was good, surf & turf with NY strip and lobster tail. I also brought a bottle of Freixnet Cordon Negra which was so good! We were a bit disappointed that the steak we ordered as medium rare, came out rare on both our entrees. Overall it was a memorable evening and just what I had hoped for a special occasion!

Waitress just didn't follow up. My water sat unrefilled for a long time. Fried okra didn't taste like okra - but that suited a few of the party. But a few of us expected okra flavor only to be disappointed. Temp on the fried green tomatoes should have been warmer but overall it was very tasty. Our appetizer empty plates sat for a while - we even stacked them so it was clear they should be cleared. Ordered the salmon, which was good, but so did my mom. We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.

Had a great first experience here attending a concert featuring a few 80's British artists…read more The place is nice, well organized and easy to get in and out of. We found parking a couple of blocks away for free. Security was easy to get through. They have lawn seating or actual seats. Lots of beverage stations, also some food trucks. We had great seats right in front of the stage, but honestly there's not a bad seat here as it's not a huge venue. Ticket prices are kinda steep as are the alcohol beverages served up in a plastic cup. I guess that's the norm these days though. I paid $100 for 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks. Sound was really good for the concert, it ran on time and overall was a great show. Located at The Bowl in Ballantyne where there are plenty of eating and drinking places. Great venue!

There are many more alcohol options. I'm not a beer drinker but I saw the prices: the least expensive domestic was $16.50 24 oz. They go up from there for imports and craft beers. They have food tucks as well. They have easily accessible bathrooms but they are SMALL. The ladies line was SO Long but the men's seemed to be much shorter and was moving quickly. The men's was very SMALL. Susan and I were there to see String Cheese Incident. It was not sold out but well attended. LADIES must have your purse checked for size. no larger than 6" X 9" otherwise you CANNOT enter. The other option is bring a plastic see through at 12" X 12". You go through security gates then another line to get your wrist band. We had reserved seating row O section 221 and tix were a little over $100 bucks with fees/taxes. I thought the acoustics were good and the stage was very large and easily viewable angles. Parking can be a challenge, I found the BOYLE garage about 2 blocks away was FREE.
