Great coffee shop in Eureka. Non dairy milk options. Seasonal lattes. Even made it directly in my reusable cup. Bathroom in the back. Super cute vibe.

We're trace for the summer in our van but we try and keep up with national food days and today is National fudge day! This is the only place we found in Eureka with fudge but they offer so much more as well. Great little spot with plenty of seating and a menu of coffees, teas, sandwiches, wraps, bagels, pastries, and confections. We ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and a piece of peanut butter chocolate fudge. The bagel was ok (probably not made in house), it could have been toasted a little more.. but they definitely don't skimp on the cream cheese.. lots of cream cheese. The fudge was amazing it even had a whole mini peanut butter cup in it. Staff were friendly and helpful and delivered good service. The place was busy with people eating, drinking and working on their laptops.

I love having coffee whenever I am eating chocolate and this place offers them both. Old Town Coffee & Chocolates has a variety of fudge and truffles on display that will make you drool. These pair well with their gourmet coffee, espresso drinks, and premium teas. If you like a particular type of syrup flavor in your coffee, they have quite a few to choose from. For food, Old Town has pastries, bagels, soups, and smoothies. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I found customer service to be so-so.

Super friendly, efficient service. Excellent variety of drinks and foods. Delicious, interesting, unique food too. And this is one of the coolest buildings in old town Eureka. Definitely worth a visit. Check out the old planks floors and brick walls. So cool.

It was my first time here . It's a very nice clean big cafe with lots of sits inside and outside. It's very well decorated and they sell lots of different cute items like jewelers, books , mugs, coffee, etc . I ordered an americano and 3 pieces of chocolates. ( espresso, tiramisu and dark chocolate) The coffee was good . The chocolates all tasted the same . Taste just sweet . No taste of anything else . The 2 young gentlemen were super nice and friendly.

Parking is plentiful and the location makes it convenient to grab from downtown. My favorite part of the menu was that fact that you can order a flight of ice cream, which are priced at $6 for 4 scoops or $11.50 for 8 scoops. It's a GREAT way to have customers try different flavors without overwhelming the sample spoons (PS I don't think this place does samples). I ordered a 4 flight of Mango Habanero, Chocolate Hazelnut, Dream Sweet Cream, and Cherry. The Mango Habanero had a good occasional kick of habaneros in an otherwise sweet ice cream. The chocolate hazelnut was dark but not very nutty - I think it's a safe pick. The sweet cream tasted like a mcdonald's ice cream cone (but perhaps healthier), and the cherry flavor can be avoided as it didn't taste like anything close to cherry. The line was a little slower than expected, but the pricing is very fair, especially for the flights. Service was friendly, and I think their menu changes some flavors ever so often.

What really makes it stand out though is the service. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and patient even when it's busy. The concept was hard…read moreto figure out at first, but it's basically a cute coffee shop combined with a courtyard garden that has private hot tub and sauna rentals. The reservations get filled quickly so you have to call the day before to reserve a private hot tub or sauna session. We arrived a bit early to our reservation so we stopped by the coffee shop first and I had to order the hot chocolate with added whipped cream because it looked so good from other reviewers photos. And oh my god, it was the best hot chocolate I've ever had!!! It's so rich with a strong chocolate flavor without being too sweet. And the mountain of homemade whipped cream was such a treat and made the whole drink even more decadent and creamy. I also wanted to note the design of the coffee shop felt like I was being transported to a rustic Scandinavian lodge or something, which was really cool. When it was time for our hot tub reservation, we walked through the courtyard to our hot tub and changing area. Each reservation gets their own private hot tub so you don't need to share with anyone else. The space is completely private and can't be seen from anyone outside in the courtyard. It was really nice because the hot tub area had no roof and was open to the air, so you could enjoy the sky and trees feel like you're relaxing "outdoors," and there was even a heated outside shower to rinse off before changing back. The whole thing was such a unique experience and I kept thinking about that hot chocolate, so I had to come one more time the next day before my flight to have it again because I don't know when I'll ever be in Arcata again. Highly recommend this gem!

Space is a little cramped in the front with our big group, but once we got rolling into our groups to go out to the back it was fine. The hot tubs were soo relaxing. BIG, they were soo big!
