I got a pie from my neighbor who works at the company and it was the best chocolate pie I've ever had plus it was gluten-free and vegan.

This is not a retail establishment! I don't know why it shows up as a bakery when you cannot go there to buy anything.

The place was pretty busy at 8pm and we sat outside since we had our pup with us. I ordered 3 oysters as an app. I had just read that Humboldt Bay provided a large percentage of the oysters consumed in CA and NV so figured I should order some since we're so close to the source! I was surprised when I slurped it down and it was warm but they were delicious and the sauce on top was very flavorful. (That was my fault for not reading the description well enough; I'm just accustomed to eating oysters chilled) For entree's, I went with the Polenta Veghie lasagna and my husband ordered the Italian Mac n cheese. Both dishes were very good and very filling. I loved the crust of the polenta and the eggplant and cheese filling was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was impressed with the coziness and warmth of the interior. Great spot for dinner, I'm glad I chose this restaurant!

My wife and I ordered the Italian Mac and cheese, beef bolognese, seafood soup (almost like a cioppino) of the day , and mushroom cobbler. All dishes were amazing and so flavorful. It was hard to pick a favorite but the beef bolognese and soup stood out to me. Our servers were so delightful and incredibly friendly. The ambience is great too; lively and homey. If I am back in town this is the first place I am coming back to. I wish I had this exact restaurant in my area!

This place will change your life. I used to sling Falafel in two separate establishments and people…read moredon't realize: there's a lot that can go wrong. Others have mentioned the small size of the falafel balls, but that's kinda the secret sauce here. The smallness makes it so you can have an extra crunchy outside, with a just done enough inside, that is still moist without feeling underdone. Any larger and you'd have a weird mix of crunchy on the outside tough on the outer half and not done at all in the center. If they were smaller, they'd be too tough through and through. I also feel compelled to mention the depth of flavor achieved by the babaganoush. This is magical. Now, I make my own baba at home, so I know how difficult it can be to get the balance right. This place has nailed it. The hummus is divine and bursting with flavor. The tahini is gorgeous. The flavors of the meats (I tried both the chicken and had an à la carte side of the lamb roll) -- they have managed to make them completely complex--you get the feeling that they slow cooked it all for hours...locking in juicy smokiness that will make you say mmmmm and fill yourself ridiculously full because you can't stop eating it. Nor would you want to. On a personal note, as an Ashkenzai Jew, who has been very unfortunately landlocked in the worst place for our people: Southern Idaho for 2.5 years, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. Speaking of which, the open air patio in the back with plenty of flowering plants, overlooking the water, is such a fun yet tranquil setting. The guys are so kind as well, and made me feel like family. Just walking in and hearing the music, I felt uplifted. And then talking with them...just felt like chatting with old friends. They are simply crushing the hospitality piece. Don't sleep on FalafelLove.

If you sit in back, they will call your name and you can pick it up from the window. When you order your meal, you can have it as a plate or as a wrap ($1 off). The falafel was well done and had a good flavor. The balls were a little on the small side but the dish overall is filling. Same with the chicken. Note the meal does not come with Pita unless you get a wrap, but you will need to purchase a it as a side if you want it with your meal. Good customer service.

Driving through Northern CA and did not expect such a filling and fun meal…read more This spot is definitely a Chinese, Korean, Japanese fusiony spot that I did not expect to find here. We ordered the Chinese Style Lamb Stew, Cheese Corn, Kung Pao Vegetables, and it came with a side of banchan. Every single dish here was absolutely delicious and piping hot! We ended up ordering a second plate of banchan because it was so good. The daikon radish had the most satisfying crunch and the others- cabbage and bean sprouts were very well pickled too! Cheese corn was sweet and honestly a good pairing with the very soury/ pickled soup. The kung pao vegetables would have definitely fooled me if I wasn't told it was mushroom. The batter holds on the oyster mushrooms just like chicken does. Well seasoned. Service was very impressive - there was a single waitress serving lots of tables. She had amazing recommendations and really seemed like she knew what she was doing. Very kind and attentive the entire time. Would love to return.

The pan fried chicken dumplings were from Costco, the spicy beef ramen left much to be desired and had an extremely dry egg. And then my friends chow mein came out half way through our meal (they forgot), had no veggies and was sweet?? They kind of attempted to fix it, so we were willing to let things go. That was one thing, then as we were waiting for them to pick up our card to pay, our server, Mira, loudly complained to her coworker about us sending the food back and how we were "pissed" (we weren't, until she started almost yelling about the situation to her coworker). Extremely unprofessional. Makes us second wanting to return in the future.
