I agree with everything the other reviewer said! Balal (I always thought it was "Bilal?" -- sorry, Balal!) is such a professional, and the cars are clean and comfy. He's on time, courteous, and takes the time to confirm every detail. As stated previously, he's very sensitive to when you feel like talking and when you don't, but is a smart and interesting guy when you DO feel like talking. Besides Balal, I've also been in the company of another driver who was equally professional. I've only used their service for work trips, but I'd absolutely use them for personal trips and/or family & friends coming to town. Really, one of the best! read more

I have been using Old Town Limo for over a year. You may think how can a limo service can be this great with all these 4 stars reviews? I recommend trying Balal and his team and experience first class service. The communication skills Balal and team have is superb. I can't tell you how many times I have called saying that the pickup time needs to be changed. Recently, you may think I am difficult, but I changed the pickup time 4 times in an hour. I got conned by a driver from this company at O'Hare today. I asked him if he was a taxi and he said yes. Then when we arrived he charged me an outrageous sum and told me he was actually driving as an uber black car. Old Town Limousine was on the receipt. I have been using Balal as a driver to and from the airport and other work events for several years, after another car service kept getting less and less reliable. I'll never use another service again! Why? * His cars are incredibly clean and well maintained. * He is always on time, if not early. If he's early, you can find him right outside your door buffing up the shine on his car. * He helps you with your luggage and the door. I know car services are *supposed* to, but more and more I've found that they don't always. He does! * He's always courteous, polite and did I mention on time? It's a thing for me. * If you feel like talking, you can chat. If not, his car has *comfortable* silence. Other cars I've been in have right-wing-AM-radio silence, listening-to-the-driver-have-a-fight-on-their-cellphone silence, or staring-at-you-in-the-mirror silence. None are comfortable. Balal is a normal person who just happens to own a car service. * The rates are totally reasonable. * He has access to several car sizes depending on your needs. Sometimes for work I have to have several people go at a time and he can provide for any size that I've had (from one to eight, no problem). * When I call last minute with small changes or ask for the drop-off address to be different, or drop a group of people off in a different order, he always has the same response: "sure, sure." We've forged a good business relationship now and I can't recommend him enough. Don't let the address fool you, he's available to provide service downtown, to and from the airport, we've even had him drive a group out to the Q Center a few times in St. Charles. My only fear in writing this review is that everyone will realize how amazing he is and I'll have trouble booking him. :) read more

Coming to Chicago, you can imagine how many car services there are to choose from. I relied on Yelp and couldn't be more pleased. Belal and his crew are professional, timely and courteous. And the cars are clean and comfortable. On our second leg back to the airport my business meeting ended far earlier than it was supposed to and when I reached out to Balel he informed me that our driver was waiting outside the door of our hotel! :-) The good reviews for this service do not fall short of their promise. Belal and his drivers are expert, professional, kind, on-time, helpful and friendly. I've been using his car service for over a year now and I've gotten pretty spoiled by how great he is. He's always on time. He's flexible and easy going when plans change. I agree with everything the other reviewers have said. On a recent business trip I had a conversation with him (I was feeling uncharacteristically chatty, and he obliged) about getting stuck in St Louis during bad weather in Chicago. I told him about renting a car but wishing I didn't have to drive myself. He told me he would have driven down to pick me up! I was surprised to learn he could accommodate long distance drives. I wish I'd known that then but it never occurred to me. It would have saved me some white-knuckle driving and turned a stressful situation into a much more bearable travel experience. I use Belal's car service exclusively now but only for my business needs. I look forward to expanding that at the next opportunity. I'll definitely call him for any personal needs that arise. Old Town Limo is American small business at its best. Belal is the heart and soul of the company, but thanks to his connections with other small limo operators he can accommodate larger needs. Service is top notch. I've had many special requests, and they've always been met. I wasn't much of a limo user in the past, save for the occasional rock concert or special event. When I relocated to Wisconsin I found a need for a car service, and found a real gem there. I didn't expect to have the same luck twice--fortunately I was wrong. Old Town Limo offers that special combination of premium service, low (or high if you desire) profile travel, rock solid reliability and excellent communication. Belal's main car is the type of plain-looking full size SUV with every luxury amenity inside, but an exterior appearance that, while neat and clean, doesn't shout "hey, I'm a big shot!" You can get a stretch limo on request, of course. I feel more secure in the SUV, compared to a Town Car. I've been going to places where taking a train beats flying. One disadvantage of train travel is that trains can sometimes be hours late. Thanks to texting, my ride is always ready when I arrive. Thanks to fair-mindedness I've never had to pay for waiting time. Recently I went to a rock concert, and Belal offered me the lower round trip rate, as opposed to the hourly rate. I was impressed by that! I do think it's a good idea to make it worth my driver's time though; don't forget to tip well when you're offered a bargain like that. Rest assured that I am a real customer. The number of high ratings from so many people reflects the type of service that we get. Old Town is as close as you can get to having your own personal driver, at a fraction of the cost. It's the real deal. read more
