We had a terrible experience with Windy City and would not recommend this service. We booked and prepaid for 12 hours of continuous transportation for a group of 26 people, paying in full more than two weeks in advance. After just over 2.5 hours of service, we were dropped off and left stranded. We were told another driver would be sent, but no one ever arrived. It took nearly three hours for them to even begin trying to arrange a return. Ultimately, we had to secure a different charter company at our own expense just to get back. We requested a partial refund for the unused time (9 hours), which we felt was more than reasonable given the circumstances. Instead, not only have we not received a refund, but they also charged a card they had on file from a previous year for the additional 3 hours. To date, we are still waiting for resolution. There has been no outreach from management despite multiple requests. This reflects serious issues with both dispatch and accounting, as well as a lack of accountability. Extremely disappointing experience. read more
