    Cheese enchilada plate
    Frank P.

This is my first time here. I've been to the Tustin location several times. I barely got in the door and was made welcome. The male employee at the register had a smile from ear to ear. I believe the other person a female was the owner. She too was smiling and very nice. I ordered the cheese enchilada plate and a Asada soft taco. I got my beverage and some salsa while waiting for my food. I was given some free chips. The food was very good. I think it's better than Tustin. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room is warm and inviting. Its a happy environment to eat your yummy food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I noticed several TV'S. This would be a nice place to come and watch football.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I noticed signs with daily specials, and other specials. Be sure to check them out. Old Town Orange has many dining options. If you're looking for Mexican food yo need to come here.

First time visitor located in old towne orange [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean spacious bright colors industrial vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Taco Tuesday special Friendly service from ordering, bussing, and checking up Offering of chips Lots of salsas to choose from and pickled veggies are a must Other half order their version of a California burrito and it was large like the size of arm and it was eatan the whole way through Order the chili relleno plate that came with corn or flour tortilla guacamole sprinkle of cilantro onion refried beans topped with cheese and rice in a aluminum style to go plate Beans and rice tasty. Beans were chunky smooth good consistency and texture, rice was soft and mild in flavor Unfortunately the chili relleno was a bit too greasy for my liking as I can see the grease on the plate and tasted it directly Flour tortilla was nice to create my own mini burritos [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would come return back to try other things as it seem like a relaxing spot for groups date night solo diners quick bite[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is also a restroom to use for patrons only that is for both gender and does have a out of order sign to deter from public use haha[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came to Jalapeños Orange Circle last night, October 30th, 2025, around 6:20 PM, hoping for a taste of the nostalgia I remembered from high school. They were relatively busy, likely due to the "Treats in the Street" event, but that is no excuse for what followed. The Food: Cold, Skimpy, and Overpriced I ordered two Pastor Tacos. Quantity Fail: As you can clearly see in the photo, the amount of meat given should not qualify as a street taco portion. For the nearly $10 I was charged, this portion size is unacceptable and a complete rip-off. Temperature Fail: To make matters worse, the tortillas were cold. The Service: Needs Improvement Disappointed, I made my way to the register to request a refund. The woman at the register claimed this sparse amount of meat was "standard for a 6-inch tortilla" and, unbelievably, rolled her eyes at me. She then stated they couldn't locate my order to issue the refund and "it will be a while as we have a line." I responded, "Don't worry, I'll wait," and patiently stood in line like every other patron. While I did eventually get my refund (verified on the receipt), the entire interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. It's a shame that since the new management has taken over, the quality of both the food and the service has declined so sharply. Final Word! Please save yourself the disappointment. Better to take another 5-minute walk to "Taco Stand"--the quality of both food and service is miles better. This was a truly negative experience, and I will not be returning. Hopefully, they will improve, but for now, look elsewhere.

happy hour here is banging!! drinks are so strong (beers are $3, cocktails $7 during happy hour)!!! Shout out to Nico and Dimas!! They're the best hosts ever and make the place feel so welcoming (so welcoming that my group of friends come every week) You also get free chips with any purchase and their salsa is soooo good

My wife and I attended the Orange Street Fair and, as most do, we walked and explored the various food booths---we did support the Orange High School Lemonade stand---and the many musical performers, but decided to remove ourselves from the large crowd and move indoors at Olde Towne Jalapeños. It was a brilliant decision on our part, as [[HIGHLIGHT]]the food, ambiance, and especially, the service, was an A+.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you Olde Towne Jalapeños for a wonderful dinner experience. We'll be back!

We have been coming here for decades. It has a great location in Old Towne Orange. The staff are friendly and there to serve. You order at the counter and once you take a seat they will bring you some chips. They have a nice salsa bar with many options. Parking can be a challenge, but there is a parking garage not too far away. They recently remodeled and have a more Mexican flare with bright colors and decorations. Good food and reasonably priced for what you get. Check them out.

    Extra grasosa Pastor Quesadilla

I love this place!!! I came here for taco Tuesday and they had a great deal on huge tacos. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. It was also filling because of the large portion size. I helped myself to the sauce bar and my favorite was the hot sauce. It's a must try! It's pretty spicy though. It's creamy yet spicy and it's just perfect. They also provide complimentary chips with your dine in order (not sure about take out bc I've only eaten dine in here) I also really like how you can clearly see the kitchen because the screen between the kitchen and the dining area is separated by clear glass. You can watch them make food and see the whole process.

I came here during the orange festival. Just to get a corona. The food looked good so I decided to order a Torta as well. This is a gem of a place! Someone in my party came in for a plate with carnitas and asada and it was a big plate nice and hot. Lowkey wish I would've got that plate. I have to come back next time because even my food was delicious!! The service was amazing! Everyone was so nice I would come back (:

    CALIFORNIA BURRITO
    Conner F.

The food and service were great! I tried a California burrito which was more than enough for 2 people. Chips came out right after we ordered and the salsa bar had plenty of choices (the hot red salsa was my favorite). The burrito came out hot and the quality was definitely there. They've really changed the look of the inside and it feels more open than before. The booths and tables were nice and clean. Highly recommend adding this to your list! Burritos, tortas, street tacos, crispy tacos, enchiladas, are all good!

    Potato taco, pickled carrots which

Very pleasant lunch, we shared the shrimp enchiladas in red sauce that was very good and a bit on the sweet side which I enjoyed and a potato taco that was good, they have a good salsa bar with pickled carrots which is a major plus in my book, the gentleman who took our order and brought out our meal was the most friendly person ever and also gave us free chips. All in all it was a good experience!

Super cute and fun ambiance with their recent remodel! Great for a date or place to meet up. Although it's a little loud from the TV, it has a fun vibe and we enjoyed sitting near the windows where there's good people watching on the main street. I'm always looking for a good chile relleno so I got one for lunch. If you don't have time to make them at home and have a craving, this will satisfy it. There is a chips and salsa bar with multiple salsas plus my favorite: pickled jalapeños and carrots. Make sure to try these! Service was fast and friendly so would recommend and will be back in the future.

Start cleaning out underneath your table pushing you out as fast as they can. The bar just closes down not even announcing a last call. And what is with those awful margaritas. I can't believe that a Michelin feathered Mexican restaurant can serve such awful margaritas. And I am not alone as I mentioned it to another Restaurant crowd and they agreed and said they were probably the worst margaritas in Orange. I don't know whether it's the mix or the amount of alcohol or what it is but they come out watery and really sour. A totally good dining experience has to encompass everything, food is only 50% of the deal the other 50% is service with a smile, and this one lacks it. Now there could be a reason for this epic shutdown at 9 PM. But I wonder what it is? Santa Monica seafood in Santa Monica on Wilshire Boulevard has to have last orders in by 8:30 because if they are not closed out by 10 o'clock entirely, the neighbors complain that they are putting out trash and making a noise after 10 so that I understand. But it took me a year to find that out from the owners. Restaurant owners are so stuck up and anal, I know I was one. Gabbi, whom I have never seen, should spend a night or two watching her Restaurant closing up.

The beans did not taste watered down, and the enchiladas themselves were flavorful. I always worry about shrimp overpowering the sides of a dish but it tasted great. The rice was also really filling. We had a reservation and they seated us at a pretty big table, which I liked. The servers were very timely, kind, and knowledgeable about each dish on the menu and the rotating specials. The inside of the restaurant was HUGE. I'm pretty sure it was built inside of a church. I really liked the stained glass and elevated seating areas nearby, it reminded me of the Old Spaghetti Factory layout in Fullerton. Overall, I had a very positive experience. I had to get a Diet Coke and of course, it was crisp to my expectations. A little heads-up, unlike the Costa Mesa location, they do not have horchata. I don't get it. Don't they get paid more than they used to just a year or two ago. Anyway, I do enjoy the Camerones. But, the dreadful flan that I was served. The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well.
