I reached out on Friday hoping to find catering for a gathering on Monday morning that was set as just a graveside service in Tubac. With such short notice and so many unknowns, like the location we were still working on securing, I wasn't sure what would even be possible. Danielle immediately put me at ease. She was accommodating, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with during a stressful time. One of the biggest challenges was estimating attendance. This is a large, multi-generational family with deep roots in Southern Arizona, but because the burial was planned on such short notice and scheduled for a Monday morning, we knew attendance would be difficult to predict. Danielle allowed us the flexibility to adjust our estimated headcount and add additional servings to ensure we had enough food for everyone who attended. What impressed me most was the dedication of her team. They were up at 5:00 a.m. preparing fresh food the morning of the event and arrived with plenty of time to get everything set up before guests arrived. Their professionalism allowed family and friends to focus on gathering, visiting, and remembering our loved one rather than worrying about logistics. The food was outstanding. We chose three different meat selections for tacos, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly the authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food my husband's family has known and loved for generations. They even brought a hot plate to keep the tortillas warm and fresh throughout service. The biggest surprise hit of the day was the Watermelon Agua Fresca. It was made fresh that morning and was absolutely perfect for a warm Southern Arizona day--refreshing, light, and not overly sweet. The fresh limeade was equally delicious and a favorite among our guests and so were the homemade Churro's and cake pops. The team handled everything. They brought their own serving tables, serving utensils, chafing dishes, and equipment. They kept the line moving efficiently, served guests with kindness, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Best of all, we had plenty of food. Nothing creates more stress when hosting a large gathering than worrying about running out, and thanks to Danielle's guidance and preparation, that was never a concern. In a small town like Tubac, businesses often become part of the community fabric. Danielle and her team exemplify exactly what that means. They stepped up on incredibly short notice, adjusted their schedules, and helped our family create a meaningful gathering to celebrate the life of JJ Gastelum. We are deeply grateful for their professionalism, flexibility, kindness, and outstanding food. If you're looking for authentic Sonoran cuisine, reliable catering, and a team that genuinely cares about their customers, I cannot recommend Sonora Mia Restaurante or the Saint Ann's Community Hall highly enough.

There is seating inside and out side. This Mexican restaurant is super clean , their restrooms, it's highly organized & with attention to details! We were seated by our lovely waitress LuLu. I love that they have so much to choose from and their price points are spot on! Lulu asked us if we had any questions and we did, she answered them all beautifully. We order Picadillo Served with rice, beans tortillas, combination 2 chicken enchiladas and substitute an extra enchilada full price cause I didn't want the taco they were more than happy to fix it, I was happy she could do that for me, along side rice and beans, beef Chimichanga, 2 chicken enchiladas combination with beans and rice. Oh my goodness they have great portions here!! Everything was super delicious!! We were also got dessert 2 Flan, they were so delicious!! This is Real Authentic Mexican Food & it's Terrific! That would be my only gripe if there is one but the enchiladas are perfection on a plate. we shared that and the guacamole salad and both were wonderful! On the original visit I had the two tostadas plate and they were yummy too! A friend who is a regular highly recommends the carne asada medium rare! Give it a try! I just wish they would give a bigger bowl of chips. That salsa bowl is tiny but the food and the service are both spectacular!!

Walking in honestly feels like stepping into a hacienda. There's a gorgeous fountain in the center and a mix of seating areas - some more loungy if you're just having drinks, others perfect for coffee or a full breakfast. There's even an upper level with a bar-style balcony, which is where we sat, and it was such a great view. They are dog-friendly in the outdoor areas (I had mine in a stroller), and the staff could not have been more accommodating - they even helped me carry her up the stairs. Service overall was amazing. We had multiple servers checking on us, which just shows how well staffed and attentive they are, especially since it was pretty busy with the buffet crowd. We heard their buffet is really good, but we weren't quite that hungry, so we ordered off the menu. I got the huevos rancheros, and I'm not kidding - the beans alone made the whole trip worth it. I don't know what they're doing back there, but they need to keep doing it. The eggs and red sauce were also so good. My girlfriend got the chiles rellenos, and just watching her cut into them with that perfect cheese pull told me everything I needed to know - she confirmed they were delicious. The decor is beautiful and full of Mexican culture, the space feels really inviting, and overall it was just such a great experience. If you're in Nogales and want something nice without going too far into the city, this is literally right across the border and absolutely worth it.

The trinity as I like to call it-- Mochomos, Queso Wilson, and Guacamole. Paired with the classic La Roca margarita pitcher and you're set for a fantastic afternoon.
