We had a long drive from Ontario and wanted a bit of energy for the road to Reno. The patio is really cute and has two large swinging chairs. Inside the shop it was simple, with several tables to sit at. The coffee was good, I got my regular vanilla latte and my fiance got the sugar plum drink. Everything was great, tasted good and the staff were friendly. The only thing I wish they weren't overpriced. We paid almost $20 for the two small coffees! But would recommend if you're not tight on money.

We were in Carson City for an event at the Brewery Arts Center and decided to stop by Old World Coffee while exploring downtown. The area has such a charming, small-town vibe, and this spot fit right in. The large patio immediately caught my eye. Boasting plenty of seating and a warm, rustic feel, it's perfect for lingering with a drink. I'm always a fan of seasonal menus, so I was excited to see their fall specialty drink lineup with some creative flavor options. I went with the Old Pine latte, and while the rosemary, brown sugar, and walnut bitters were a bit more subtle than I hoped, it was still a really quality cup of coffee. Being from Reno and a bit of a local bakery and coffee shop fanatic, I was excited to see they carry Beloved Bakery items! If I'm ever in Carson City again, I'd definitely stop back in to try another one of their menu offerings.

Cute coffee shop! Lots of outdoor seating and some indoor seating. They had some tasty holiday flavors and workers were very kind. This would be a good place to get some work done or to have coffee & catch up with friends

Chai tea latte. This is with oatmilk.

Just wanted a hot cocoa. Very pleased! Chelsea made it so pretty too! One thing I wish is there'd be some spoons so you can get every drop. The wooden stirrer doesn't do Justice.

Love the location of this coffee shop, amazing outdoor seating and shaded. Pet friendly. Great for catching up with a friend or a date. Inside has plenty of space and seating. Perfect for work from home option or reading a book. Try their mocha or my personal favourite a Gibraltar!

Hip coffee shop that roasts their own coffee beans and has several specialty drinks. Tried two of their specialty drinks, the orange blossom, and the mocha. Both were creative and tasted good. Next time I would like to try their regular coffee and get an americano or drip coffee. They offer like 5-10 different beans for sale. And have a few pastry options. They offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

This is the Horchata Latte at Old World Coffee Roasters.

I just wasn't feeling this place today. It was too cold to sit outside and the inside was lacking ambiance. They had an Horchata Latte on their Spring Specials Menu and decided to try it when I saw the Horchata was house-made. Call me picky, but I just didn't taste the Horchata. Overall, I didn't like it very much, but I went ahead and finished it anyway. The service was also o.k., but not great.

$8.61 cup of oatmeal latte coffee.

I just bought a 10oz oatmeal latte coffee and I paid $8.61, extremely expensive. The coffee was good but too expensive.

It doesn't have much ambiance, the coffee was ok, not much choice of pastries. The service was good.

(@lovingreno775 on Instagram) and was excited to stop by! I used the drive-thru and was greeted with friendly service. I ordered an iced butter rum latte for myself, an iced raspberry mocha for my husband, and one of their chocolate-dipped biscotti. The raspberry mocha was the standout for me, with a rich, deep flavor that really came through. My butter rum latte was good, but a bit milkier than I would have hoped for. The one thing that gave me pause was the price. At about $9 for a medium drink, it felt a little steep. That said, I appreciate supporting local businesses, and I was happy to learn that they use organic coffee. I've also heard they make their own chai, which definitely has me interested in coming back to give it a try Overall, a solid local coffee stop with friendly service and some unique offerings. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

Stopping into Clyde's transports you to a cozy winter lodge, yet still offers a beautiful deck space for the warm Tahoe days. The staff was very kind, answering any questions we had, and drinks were served up quickly. The pastries here looked absolutely insane! It took everything I had to pass up on them- but next time, I have already decided I am getting the apple streusel. The drinks are a bit pricey here, but the portions are large. Most iced/blended drinks are around $7.50, but they are 16-oz servings. The Green Monkey (blended matcha, almond milk, and banana) was so creamy and sweet, and delicious. The smoothies are soft serve-based and offer a perfect sweetness level while still being fresh from the fruit and creamy like a milkshake. I also enjoyed a double shot to sample their espresso game- very tasty stuff. They have lots of merch for sale, including their coffee varieties, which I thought were priced well. I will be back to Clyde's Coffee Roasting. It may even be my new favorite South Lake Tahoe coffee house, even if it means I have to drive out of the way a few minutes. Usually this place is slammed, especially between 7-8 AM when I typically drive by. However, it was pretty chill when we stopped by for some kid fruit smoothies, an Americano, and an oat milk latte. There were about 4 cars in line but we had our drinks in less than 10 minutes. There is also a few tables and a walk up window at this location. The Americano was interesting. I asked for sugar free vanilla syrup and they loaded it up. Tasted more like artificial syrup than coffee. I think people come here for the sugar filled sodas and teas, and maybe not for a great cup of coffee. Nonetheless, the service was still good and we got what we asked for. The latte was better and the kids smoothies were a great value. They also hooked us up with these awesome buttons (pictured)! Overall a great experience. It's been our go to place. Today being Father's Day, we were out and about in town and decided we would eat there. All the way there I kept bragging to my grandson how great this place is and it's our go to spot. yada yada yada. It wasn't very busy and we were seated very quickly. The service has always been pretty friendly. The service today was adequate and I'll get to that in a second. My grandson ordered the pork belly, Mac and cheese. I kept saying how that is a really good choice and he's really going to like it. My wife ordered the half rack ribs with fries and coleslaw. I had what I think is called the butchers platter with ribs, chicken wings, and pork belly. The food arrived and looked pretty darn good. But that's where it ends. My wife kept saying how salty the food was. And I got to thinking about that as I was eating my wings with the so-called Memphis dust flavoring on them. Those were equally salty so I thought wow OK maybe it's just our taste buds. Then I tried my ribs and they were also salty. I tried my wife's ribs just to see if they were that salty and come to find out they really were and dry. The fries that came with my wife's food tasted like they were old like they've been sitting out for a while. The coleslaw was also bland. After bragging about the pork belly and cheese, my grandson stated that it was pretty bland with very little flavor. So I tried it just to see what was going on and sure enough it was really lacking something what I don't know. I'm thinking garlic because it was pretty darn bland. I honestly hate to give a review like this because I really like this place as I said before it's been our go to spot. Now, as far as the service the server, she was very friendly, but that was pretty much it, after getting our food she didn't even check on us until it was about time for us to leave and she brought us our check. It's just kind of weird because there's a couple of servers here that are exceptional. So I don't know what's going on, but this was a very big letdown for a couple of regular customers. As usual, the place is clean and spacious with plenty of TVs to enjoy sports. In the end, the beverages were about the best part of the meal. It was Father's Day, so my beer was free so thank you for that maybe this was just a rough day. I don't know. I don't know if you have new cooks or what but this was pretty bad considering how much we like this place and how good it has always been.
