The coffee is hands down some of the best in Reno--not only does it taste incredible, but every drink is crafted with beautiful latte art that shows how much care goes into each cup. This is a nice, new Hub location in the RED. Well-designed space, but the matcha could use some work. I have always enjoyed Hub coffee, and their riverfront location is iconic. This location in the Reno Experience District is nice. Parking can be tough here. You may have to park a ways away near the movie theatre. The area is very nice. They are doing a great job filling out this space. There are lots of seating options inside and a large, reservable upstairs space. The employees were super nice here, and there were lots of them working, so drinks came out quickly. The iced americano was good. Nothing to complain about. The matcha was very mid. It lacked flavor and was basically a cup of milk. They definitely need to up their matcha game. Overall, great place to grab coffee before or after a movie, or if you happen to live in RED. In almost every other instance, I would probably visit a different Hub location or another coffee shop. read more

Very cute on the inside with massive windows and decorated with big, happy and lush plants all over. Great space for business meetings, solo working or catching up with some friends. There's some outdoor, dog-friendly seating next to a field for dogs to run around on. Outside is a play area for kids, provided by the RED district and a movie theater neighboring the Hub. They roast their beans and over the years have really improved their roasting. I am a sucker for their chai and get it pretty often. They're offering a seasonal, organic blackberry chai and I just had to get it. It is pretty similar to their lavender chai but with just a bit more of a jammy flavoring to it. It is a bit pricey but isn't everything now-a-days? They have pastries, grab n go snacks, juices, kombucha and beer from 10Torr. Theres parking lots here and right in front is 1 hour parking. It's a two story space so very roomy and you can event rent out the space. They have books and games for entertainment on the second floor also. read more

Great WFH option, meetings, and catching up with friends. I personally love their London Fog, Golden Latte, and now their BlackBerry Chai (seasonal). It's convenient for RED residents (Emory) which I love. There's also parking inside the parking garage and also outside. Grab a coffee and walk over with your dog- super pet friendly and I usually head over to Virginia Lake Park with my coffee in hand. They also serve Beloved Bakery goods, free tastings of their roasts in the front near their register and the baristas are kind and helpful. This is a rad midtown spot. I was unaware of it until last weekend, I went in with some friends on a Saturday morning to hangout and catch up. I was impressed by the corner location and the 2 story floor to ceiling windows! On a winter day it is bright and warm from all the natural sunlight. There is a decent amount of free parking in the plaza. We were greeted by very friendly staff as we came in. The other patrons were having converstations, but even with the large space it wasn't loud. There were some seasonal specials available and they were explained quite well. We placed our order and went up to the 2nd floor to take in the view and settle in. A few minutes later a barista brought our drinks up, I expected them to be called out and I would go get them. The service and friendliness from the staff made it an enjoyable morning. Now on to the coffee! I ordered the GInger Berry Cold Brew. I had no idea what to expect, but I thought I would be adventurous and try a new drink. Let me tell you, this was exquisite! A blueberry flavored cold brew topped with ginger infused foam! The creaminess of the foam mixed with the cold brew for that first sip and it was like being transported back to childhood eating a blueberry yogurt. Every sip was creamy and I had no idea that blueberry coffee was something I was missing. After experiencing how wonderful this drink was, I am looking forward to trying the other seasonal offerings! read more

Orange covers the pallet with a hint of cardamom. This is a fantastic latte to start your day. The green chile breakfast burrito was extremely hot out of their microwave / oven. Tons of egg with chunks of red potatoes and green chilies with a spicy and herby salsa albeit a bit runny. HUB coffee is one of my favorite local coffee brands/spots, so when I heard they were closing the Pine St location I was super bummed since it was fairly close to my office. I've never been to Hub and there was a line but they were rather quick with my drink. I ordered an avocado toast which I knew would be a bit longer, but didn't mind the wait as I was able to sit down on a bar stool. My latte was good and the toast the bite I had was good. Staff was friendly and will definitely return when I have the chance to try other drinks. read more

My niece and I were going to watch a film at Century Cinemark Parklane 16 but we got there a little early; so, we popped into Hub Coffee Roasters first; located near the Century Cinema Parklane 16 theater and at the ground floor level of one of the RED apartment buildings. The shop has a very chill but hip vibe; the decor was sleek and modern. Everything seemed very orderly and clean. We approached the counter and ordered an Earl Grey tea (for my niece) and a Cafe au lait for myself, plus a couple of beignets: a plain beignet for my niece and a raspberry filled one for me. We explored the shop a little as we decided where to sit; our orders were ready almost immediately: their baristas/cashiers (Mark- according to the receipt, and an East Indian gal- whom I unfortunately didn't get her name) were prompt and polite; they called us over when our orders were ready. We sat downstairs, by the window and imbibed our coffee and tea. The beignets were fluffy and light; they disappeared in two satisfying, little bites-- another item checked off of my foodie bucket list. We both noted how strong (not to mention scalding hot) our drinks were; fortunately, there was complimentary water by the entrance, so we tempered both our drinks before we left the coffee shop to slowly make our way back to the theater. Both the shop and its staff made a good first impression with my niece and I; so, we look forward to paying them another visit in the future. read more

This is such a great place to come and chill out. There's ample space to do some work or to catch up with a friend. I tried the Sun Kissed latte, and was really excited to try it after the staff hyped up the drink. The latte was delish!!! After hanging out for a bit, I can see why she loves it so much. The space is super open with lots of seating, perfect if you want to work or just chill for a while. There are multiple sizes of tables for meet-ups or bar tables. Friendly staff and quick service. Fast WiFi. Two hour parking just outside the shop. I would give this place possibly a 3.5/5, I got one of the new advertised lattes and to be honest it was a decent coffee. The staff were really nice and made my order pretty quickly. However I came to the place in hopes to seeing genuine coffee being made as I like seeing the process of drinks being made. But it was kind of unsettling when drinks were being made with an automatic machine when they have the professional espresso machine across the bar. Although it's not a big deal and i believe it's due to staff experience but I had high expectations on the creation and look of my drink and kind of expected nice latte art. This spot is so cozy. They made a promise to open winter 24 and even though they had some items they were waiting to receive, they kept their promise and opened on time. Mark and his team are incredibly sweet and accommodating and I was amazed to be greeted by name after only going in a couple of times. They serve Beloved's pastries and before they opened I was telling my boyfriend how smart it would be if they did. The owner thinks of everything and the fact that he collaborates instead of just competing with local businesses is why this is an establishment worth supporting. Hub has the best coffee in Reno and I'm grateful to have a location so close by now. It's perfect for studying as the environment is spacious and relaxed. Went here recently. Wouldn't recommend if you like coffee. Their drip coffee was bright with fruity notes but in a bad way. Tasted sour. They should definitely change their beans for drip. Espresso was alright. It seems like you guys have great equipment with lack of experience. If you are coming here just get tea, it's the only thing they can do right. Never get the matcha latte. It had awful color and mixed incorrectly. They used a stir stick in a metal shaker cup. At least invest in electric whisks or bamboo whisks. I would suggest to change everything about your matcha: your ratio, your matcha brand, and your method. Also maybe research a little about matcha before selling it for that price. Overall just an upscale looking place with awful drinks. Hope you guys do better in the future! read more

Great coffee, cozy ambiance, and friendly staff! I stopped by during a ski trip while staying nearby and had such a wonderful experience. I walked in with my dog this morning and was greeted with big smiles from the staff. One of the team members even offered my dog a treat, which was such a kind gesture! $17 for two triple cappuccinos? that's nearly double what it costs in San Francisco. and they weren't even good. the girl seemed co fused when I ordered triples. said their machine only pulled double shots. yes, every espresso machine's default setting is double shots. you put two cups under it. very clearly a private equity run machine and no one with any actual interest in coffee works there. read more

The interior is nicely decorated and has a clean airy space which is great for meetings, getting work done, or reading a book, but I'm a little disappointed with the quality drop off. I used to frequent the Hub at the river which had such a high quality of coffee, latte art, and barista interaction, but I've noticed a considerable drop off since about two years ago.
