4 stars for the food and service. Extra 1 star because one of us is a huge fan of Chimay beer and this place serve a Chimay on tap. Our server were polite and attentive. Food came pretty quickly. The wings and the mac n' cheese were pretty good. Definitely worth stopping by.

This is my first time here. We are in town to take care of a few things and staying at the Wyndham pretty close and our front desk staff told us about the Olde Forge. The food was great! I ordered what was called Etoufee. Never heard of it before. It was sausage, chicken, and shrimp all in a spicy sauce and some steamed white rice. I really enjoyed this meal. We did have 4 adults and 3 kids in our party and it took quite a while for our food to come out. Also took a while for drink refills. Not sure if they were busy or just don't typically have a larger party dine there. All in all we really enjoyed the food. We did enter from the bottom level. Not sure if that is a customer entrance or not. Once again we are not from around here haha

Are you looking for a light bite to eat? This is not the place for you. And that's okay! The folks here are genuinely nice people who are able keep the wait list in their head as more and more people line up during the dinner rush. The bar seems like it's been here forever with personal beer steins hanging from the rafters. And did I mention the root beer comes straight from the tap too? This is like the cool local watering hole that every place in Brooklyn strives to be... but it's for real. Enjoy the hearty pub fare... and appreciate this gem of a roadside stop on your next trip to the Berkshires. (And leave your attitude about waiting in a line at the door.)

We had a great dinner here after snowboarding all day! We started with some drinks - the hard ginger beer and the strawberry downeast cider. Both drinks were amazing! The ginger beer was absolutely delicious and not too gingery. Then we had their Buffalo wings with ranch. The buffalo sauce was the perfect amount of spice and had a smooth buttery taste to it. The wings were a little too crispy in my opinion, but others seemed to really enjoy that aspect. Next we had the larger house salad with Italian dressing on the side, we shared this with 2 people and it was the perfect amount for each of us to have a decent serving of salad. The salad came with warm bread and butter which was a great addition. Last, we shared their new vegetarian "chicken" sandwich and it was a pleasant surprise. The "chicken" actually had an amazing taste and texture. They topped the sandwich with a great combo of veggies and sauce that made the sandwich just perfect. The fries were very eh but we were pretty full at this point anyways. Overall, great food, quick service, and very cute ambiance. Definitely come here for drinks & a hot meal after a day on the slopes!

Through all of it, Lindsay was absolutely incredible. I honestly don't know how she did it. Even as the restaurant filled up, she somehow made it feel like I was her only table. My drink never got low, everything arrived quickly, and she checked in at exactly the right moments without ever making it feel rushed. She was friendly, sharp, and completely on top of everything happening around her. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, and service like that is rare. Lindsay handled a packed room with the kind of calm, attention, and professionalism you usually only hope for. She turned an ordinary meal into one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. District Bar and Grill is lucky to have her. Lindsay set the bar so high that most restaurants don't even come close

An absolute hidden gem in New Lebanon!…read more OMG, what an adorable little cafe! We were in New Lebanon and looking for somewhere to eat around 7:30 PM. Being a small town, there weren't many options still open, so we called to see if they were still serving dinner. The sweetest lady answered and told us their kitchen closed at 8:00 PM, but they would still be happy to take us. We're SO glad we called! The moment we walked in, we loved the place. It was beautifully decorated, with fresh wildflowers they had picked themselves, the tables were set so nicely, and everything had such a warm, cozy, welcoming feel. We were seated immediately and had ice water at the table right away. The service from beginning to end was seriously top-notch. Then the wonderful lady helping us, and I'm so sorry we didn't get her name, brought out freshly baked mini blueberry muffins. OH. MY. GOODNESS. They were DELICIOUS. That was the moment we looked at each other and knew dinner was going to be good. And it absolutely was! Our daughter ordered an omelette, my wife had the steak frites, and I ordered the chicken piccata. Every single dish was delicious. My wife also ordered a blueberry cosmo, which she loved! At this point we were completely stuffed, but there was no way we were leaving without trying dessert. We ordered the red velvet cake AND the chocolate croissant bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Did we need both? Absolutely not. Did we finish them anyway? Pretty much! The food was just THAT good. We kept telling ourselves we were full and somehow kept taking another bite. What really made this place special, though, was the hospitality. We came in close to closing time, and instead of ever making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience, they welcomed us with kindness and gave us a wonderful dinner experience. That says a lot about a place. 5 stars all the way. If you're anywhere near New Lebanon, do yourself a favor and stop here. Places like this deserve all the support and business they can get. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. We will DEFINITELY be back, and next time we're coming for breakfast!

I picked up a matcha latte here, and my friend catered a delicious brunch from this spot!…read more I appreciated that the matcha didn't come pre-sweetened. It could've been whisked/blended a bit better (separated a bit), but I was happy with it overall. Regarding the catering, I was a big fan of the avocado toast (super fresh and creamy and nice flavor) and tasty muffins (I enjoyed the blueberry muffin.) It takes a bit to make drinks / food, so be sure to allocate some time--this isn't one of the factory-like cafes that churn out drinks / whip out ready-made food. The interior is cute and has assorted offerings of general foods/supplies that were fun to peruse.

Warm beautiful dining room with a wood burning fireplace, with a fire going, on a chilly night. Ann, our server was perfect. Perfect timing and flow, gave us recommendations and bussed empty glasses and plates every pass. They start you off with warm fresh Italian bread and a bean salad. Both were tasty and they also said popovers are coming. Another staff appeared with a piping hot fresh baked basket of popovers and gave us each one. It didn't even need butter. Amazing. It felt like being in a bakery in Italy or Europe. Next, our apps and salads arrived. The calamari was tasty, as was the mushroom beignets. I wasn't used to this style of mushroom caps but boy were they delicious. The salad was tasty and came with fresh homemade bread bits as croutons. Everyone at the table enjoyed the apps, the popovers, and our entree. The specials list and deserts sounded wonderful but it was just so much food, we were full.
