Olde Sawmill Mini Golf course is open again after the flood and we were happy that they were able to rebuild as they were greatly missed in the community. They update their Facebook regularly with any changes to their hours. Note they only accept cash and there is no ATM on site. Overall, it's a great course and you can move through it pretty fast. Had a fun time here on Father's Day with some of our grand kids. Please note you need cash! It was $45 for the 5 of us to golf and we had exactly that. Had originally planned to use a credit card. The course is older but lots of fun and still in decent shape. Lots of shady spots too. read more

Stopped in today after work to grab take out. Wanted to order enough food for a family of four... However they don't take credit or ATM cards.. I like the place. It's cute, great for kids, clean, family run.. But I don't always have cash for food an golf.. Please think about getting a card machine. Increase your revenue. We love this place and have made it our "last day of school" tradition. Beautiful atmosphere with a cute train caboose and working water wheel. We also found the staff to be very friendly. As of June 2016, they still don't have an ATM and only accept cash or check. But, the gas station next door has an ATM...just plan ahead. Basic indoor dining area with ceiling fans, clean bathrooms and plenty of tables. I read another reviewer complaining about the dining area not having AC...really?! From what I remember, the menu offers fried foods, hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwich wraps, ice cream, shakes, etc. Mini golf and ice cream suits me fine, I'm not looking for a gourmet meal! We go here about once a year for a church outting. It's a fun day out with the kids and some friends but not a place I would go to otherwise. for mini golf is a bit lame but what do you expect for Connecticut. The food is so-so, nothing to get excited over but its not terrible. Overall a nice place to hang out with some friends during spring. There is not much shade around so its a bit tough during the hotter summer months, better bring a hat. read more

I've gone to this place since I was knee high and it's pretty much the same years later. Neat and somewhat tidy, the grounds are well kept for how compact it is and the single booth for service handles everything a minigolf needs. I give it a bonus star for the fun minigame at the end, the final hole involves a risk-it-all hole in one for a spin of a prize wheel, which has things like free game tickets or pizza. Coming here brings back so many memories...so many high school dates and Friday nights out with friends. A few years ago I remember that there were mosquitoes everywhere, which definitely sucked. But when I was here last summer, there were none to speak of, so maybe they've done something about that. The course has been updated recently and is in good shape. For being right in Oxford, this place is cute. My boyfriend and I come here at least once a summer just to get out and do something. We are like little kids at heart so we don't expect much haha. The course is perfect for getting your mini golf addiction out, but if could use some sprucing up. The last time we went there were some things falling apart and the grass was becoming overgrown. Our family goes here regularly to play mini golf and eat. The food is cooked fresh to order and is always yummy. They offer outdoor or indoor seating. My daughter thinks they have the BEST root beer floats around! The golf course is not only a lot of fun but also challenging at some holes. Mini Golf was fun and creative. Walking paths are lacking ONLY in certain areas. My daughter took a digger avoiding my shot and scraped the back of her legs on the brick edging. She toughed it out though; thats why i call her "Nails". $13 for the 2 of us. Cash only. if you dont have cash, they dont have an ATM. The sign denotes that there is "An ATM at the gas station next door". Couldnt imagine eating there. Food smelled great, but the dining area is in an unaircoditioned room that somehow was actually hotter in it than outside. This place is my wife's favorite- like a Mother's Day hit! The course is well maintained and is tough enough for the discerning minigolfer but easy enough that somebody usualy gets a hole-in-one. The snack bar is good, fresh, flavorful and resonable- my type of place. Real milkshakes and good ice cream, hot crisp fries. They were damaged by the flood and we pray it will reopen. read more

This is a nice local mini golf course. The course is well maintained and is located in a wooded area. It's a nice alternative to the larger sports complex courses. The snack bar has reasonable prices and the staff is always friendly. read more

This place is a rip off. The only drink they have for kids is pink lemonade. $26 for 3 burgers, a hot dog and 2 orders of fries. $7.50 for adults to play mini golf and $5.50 for each child under 6 yrs old. The service is completely rude, not kid friendly at all. We stood at the counter for a good five minutes as the only customers and the girl behind the counter completely ignored us as she talked to a friend. Upon leaving we informed her she was very rude as the other woman screamed at us while leaving while having two children with us. This is the fourth time here and every time, service was awful not to mention the fattiest, greasiest, cheapest, fast food. read more

Nice, maintained course. Fun to play. Would have given more stars if not for the miserable women at the snack bar. Daughter won a free ice cream, we presented the ticket and were given an attitude by the women who just said "On the board". One of the most sub-par minigolf courses I have ever been to. The owner was rude, my club was falling apart as I played, and the course was filled with holes and bare patches in the grass. They only accept cash, so be prepared to bring a lot, as the prices are ridiculously high, even for children, for a course that is really nothing special. The only reason I would come back here is if someone threw their brithday party here, although I don't know why they would bother. read more
