Emasculate service! I was greeted vey joyously and was continually checked on by a very warm bar staff! Very chill vibes inside, I really like the different art on the walls! service was very quick and I got my burger in a surprisingly fast manner! I was in the mood for a burger and this was the closet restaurant, and I am so happy I found it! This burger is like the best "grill out flavor" burger ever, the edges just a little crispy but full of flavor, very tender, the pickles-delicious, and the crisp of the fresh onions tied the whole thing together! the side of Mac and cheese was superb! mild, creamy, and flavorful! Not too much intensity which I prefer and that balanced the super intense flavors of the burger! I plan on coming back for more burgers in the future!!

Friendly service, and good food! We both ordered the French Dip and it is absolutely one of my favorites. We had not been here since the pandemic and thought it would be nice to walk down the street and have dinner. We tried a half order of the Tavern Nachos with chicken! These things were amazing! Tortilla chips topped with jalapeno, sour cream, queso, homemade guacamole & pico de gallo. Bill overview: *1\2 CHK NACHOS $13 *French Dip (2@$17.00) $34 *Cab Bottle $32 *Subtotal: $79.00 *Tax: $5.93 *Credit Card Fee: $2.55 *Total before tip: $87.48 Warning that they charge a Non-Cash adjustment (surcharge) to any non-cash payment both credit and debit cards! Personal view as a consumer, this and should be factored into to the cost of doing business. I have seen businesses offer a discount with cash payment which comes across a lot better (personal opinion). This is becoming the norm and is a deterrent for me when I see a business that does this. Of course the Tavern's French Dip has been a favorite for years so I'll be back. I recommend the food, and now those chicken nachos are a new favorite as well. Website: theoldetownetavern.com

Quite the happening place! Came here the day before New Year's Eve with a good size group. We were able to get seating for most of us, although a few people had to stand. Drinks were good and reasonable price. They had a really nice food menu, despite the fact that the operated out of a very small space. I am really amazed by how they produced all that food out of that square footage. We had a wide array of bar type foods... nachos, burgers, sliders... All quite good!

While in Columbus, OH for the football game, we ventured to this restaurant several times. I had 1/2 an order of the shredded Chicken Nachos with Black Beans. My husband had the Turkey Sandwich - we both enjoyed these so much that we went back a few days later and order these again

I really enjoyed my time at the Olde Towne Tavern. Our server was amazing too! They have a great happy hour special and an assortment of other fun things to try. My friends got the $5 veggie nachos and their pretzel bites. I ordered their jalapeño grilled cheese with bacon! It hit the spot and I can't wait to go back again!

We found Olde Towne Tavern after searching for a dog friendly establishment and we love it! The staff were all very welcoming and it seemed like there were many local frequent guests. We sat outdoors with the pup and the patio set up was great! There is a big fire pit in the middle so we moved over to sit by the fire after we finished our meals. Can we first talk about the wheat bread that came on the Salmon BLT.... I don't know what it is about that bread but it was absolutely impeccable. It was toasted just right with a slight crispy yet soft texture and the taste was something I can't really put into words. I could probably eat this bread with the creamy mustard all day. They said they get the bread from a baker that delivers it to them... which I will need to ask and find out the details again. Anyways... the salmon was cooked perfectly and the cheeseburger was great as well. We also ordered the spicy chili and italian wedding soup which were both delicious. My only bland experience was the side tavern salad... we couldn't put our fingers on it but the taste was a little off. The portion size was awesome though! The overall experience was great and we are looking forward to coming back again to try our other items on the menu!

Awesome great place!!!!! Seriously great food and drinks and our server Tyler is the best!!!!! Thank you for making it a great night!!!

My friends and I came here after a comedy show. The show ended around 9:30 I would say. They had an open kitchen and bar still and there was a great vibe in the restaurant. My friend and I ordered two sandwiches and split them. I got the tavern Turkey and she ordered the Buffalo bill. We both got mac and cheese as a side and a pickle. Honestly, I have no notes. I preferred the Buffalo bill which was surprising for me since I don't tend to gravitate towards Buffalo chicken. It was very good! But the Tavern Turkey was also great and I would definitely get that again. I loved the pickle, but I'm a pickle lover. The Mac and cheese was pretty good too. Overall a great time!

Would you bring a four-year-old here for dinner?

I bring my four-year-old in all the time! We recently added a kid’s menu with crayons & wikistix to help keep them busy.

I was a bit worried as it looks more like a night club from the outside, but the food was fantastic! We ordered the popcorn chicken, the Shanghai noon burger, mama Chien's dumplings, drunken noodles, a cobra old fashion and a local beer (paper cloud?). The chicken had some unique seasoning and the drunken noodles were phenomenal; the noodles were giant and cooked perfectly and the dish has some unique touches like pea pods that you don't usually find. You order at the bar, but even with that the service was great! A server brought out an herb for us to try that is in many of their dishes. They checked in on us several times and even refilled water, which you get yourself at the back. The customer base was very diverse. I'm guessing the place may turn more club-like later at night, but for dinner it's a perfect family restaurant.

I loved watching the bartenders make the drinks. It's mesmerizing. We tried the Koji Popcorn Chicken, Ezzo Pizza Dumplings, Seasoned Fries, Mama Chien's Dumplings (pork & sweet potato filled). All the food was amazing. I ordered a Kopiko Espresso Martini that I will go back 10x over to have again and again. I would say the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is going up to the bar to order every time you need something. I think they could really thrive using a QR system and/or digital tabs to make that process simpler. Also so you don't have to keep leaving the table. Either way, definitely worth it to check out!

Once he realized it was actually a brewery, he was all in! The brewery has a great atmosphere, and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Since we've been visiting several breweries during our getaway, they even gave us a Seventh Son passport, which was a nice surprise and a fun way to continue exploring the local brewery scene. I ordered the Wild & Sour flight and really enjoyed it. It was a great way to sample a variety of unique flavors, and each pour showcased the creativity and quality that Antiques on High is known for. Between the excellent beer selection, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a brewery I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area. Looking forward to stopping back again!

Since it wasn't a weeknight happy hour, I paid $12 for a glass of a wine. I was going to tip her but she walked away and I didn't see her again before I left. Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.
