I love love love this place, this is review on the Henderson location. It's a small place but they do have some counter seating available. The service is fast and the churros are hot and fresh. From the front you can see them making the churros right in front of you. I love that, I always get the same dipping sauce. I got condense milk, Bavarian cream and dulce de leche. All my favorites. I am glad there is a spot that I can walk in and buy churros! The churros are always fresh and can add dipping sauces to go with it. They also offer other delectable choices like waffles and specialty lemonade. What makes this place different from others is their flour comes from Spain and their chocolate, so you get that special Spaniard delight without traveling across the world to get a taste of Spain. The day I came I was attended by an older man very sweet and inviting vibe. He took care of our order and also made the churros, talk about multi-tasking the entire place. We had such a wonderful experience here! The owners and staff were extremely kind and pleasant, and the way they treated us really meant a lot. Great service truly goes a long way. The churros were absolutely scrumptious--so light, crispy, and fresh. These were so good they left us wanting more! I love Churros so I figured I'd give this place a try. I ordered a 12 pack to go and didn't realize they don't add the cinnamon sugar on the churros and they give it to you on the side. By the time I got home and added the cinnamon sugar they weren't warm enough to have the sugar stick :( not sure why they do it this way because the churros ended up being flavorless since none of the sugar would stick. The packaging was very unique and nice, but the overall presentation of the churro was different than a standard stick churro. It was like a big balloon shaped churro. It was very oily, which i found out is the Spanish way of doing churros but I just wasn't prepared for all the oil. The price was crazy for me as well. I can't remember the taste of the churro without the help of the dipping sauce. I was a little disappointed to be honest but all in all I'm glad I tried them. The last time I came here the service was good, but I saw nowhere that there is a fee when using your credit card. I somehow was charged another fee and I don't know why. I had to ask before they rectified it but I felt like it was shady. There's nowhere to sit in this place Except for a few stools near the door. It's very small, so I think it's better if you just come to pick up and leave. The churros itself are pretty good! It does come with a few dipping sauces but if you're vegan, you have to pay extra to get the strawberry dipping sauce. That is another disappointment for me as I am Vegan. So to conclude, not a very large place to sit with your group of friends, the trolls are good. The service is good, but be worry of any additional charges. Double check your receipts! We tried plain and cinnamon sugar, as well as the Bavarian dip. I guess theirs differs from other churros I've tried because it is not super doughy/starchy. The in-house coffee (they use Lavazza Crema) complimented the churros well, which is a plus, because there are so many places that have amazing sweets, yet the drinks seem like an after thought. There was a beautiful mural on one side of the wall and counter seating to enjoy the food. I didn't get the name of the person who assisted us but he was this knowledgeable, and cheerful employee who made our churros fresh! The two dipping sauces I chose for us were the Bavarian cream and Nutella. Both sauces were delicious. Well now that Costco no longer sells churros, this is the only spot I know of for some great churros haha! These are fresh and made to order as we saw them fry the batter in the oil. Located in the same business complex as a Denny's and an EOS Fitness that recently went out of business, Ole Churros is fairly easy to find. We took the backstreet on Serene to get here (which is much easier than driving on the very busy Eastern), so we ended up entering through the back of the complex. The inside is super small, so be prepared to take your churros back with you if it's really busy. We walked in and studied the menu. The menu was difficult to read because the text was a little small, and I didn't have my glasses on me. So I literally had to squint to read what was on the menu (my boyfriend always tells me to wear my glasses if I can't read anything lol). We ended up ordering a 6 piece churro with chocolate Nutella and Spanish chocolate on the side. The cashier gave us a buzzer after we took our order and that it would go off when our order was ready. I wasn't really expecting to see one of these in a grab-and-go place, plus there were only maybe three other customers inside with us. The churros have a weird circle-like shape to them, rather than a stick that I'm used to seeing. And WOW, they were so good! My boyfriend said that the churros tasted so much better when he dipped them in his chocolate Nutella sauce, which is basically chocolate flavored peanut butter. Though I didn't get the chance to try out the chocolate Nutella, the Spanish chocolate was SO good. I like churros when they're dipped in chocolate, I'm not gonna lie.
