Beautiful restaurant. The backdrops look like I stepped in Spain. They offer lots of wine and beverages. They have a full menu, but we went to try their Prix fixed tasting menu. Everyone at the table has to have the tasting menu, there are two upgrade options. 8 courses for $80. At first I thought I was going to leave hungry, but by course six, I was getting full. The first course of some delightful fluffy bread with an amazing butter. My two favorite courses were the scallops and the taco made with fried nori! Everything was wonderful and service was excellent. Get there soon, they will be closing the location by end of September and opening another location with a new concept!

Opened in 2018, with Anima by EDO debuting in early 2022 and since a JBFA Semifinalist, EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine remains Las Vegas' most exciting Restaurant thanks to its unrivaled ability to look backwards while at the same time pushing boundaries rarely challenged in Southern Nevada. Inspired by Catalonian traditions, Chef Oscar Amador's upbringing in Barcelona gifting him with a respect for diverse Ingredients and a gift for crafting poignant bites that highlight rather than hide them, it was as a party of two that guests were accommodated, Chef Oscar himself charged with creating a Menu Degustacion including both regularly offered items and nightly inspirations. An acronym for "Extra Day Off," though EDO itself is open from 5pm until 9pm daily, it was by 5:30pm that things were underway quickly with guests enjoying drinks alongside vibrant Gazpacho as well as housemade Bread with Anchovies and the best Spanish Pork in town. Starting Seafood-centric as usual, new Oyster and Scallop preparations vibrant with acid before its refreshing linger, Bluefin Tuna Tostadas travel north to Mexico before classic Bikini, Tarte Flambé and Patatas Bravas. Always exploring new ideas, Oscar and Roberto's La Loba recently debuted in Seattle, the "Paju Taco" pays tribute to a Pacific Northwest bite with candied Seaweed around Rice and Short Rib before Octopus & Kaluga Caviar kissed by Chef's take on Tapatío. Happy to see off-cuts in a city dominated by Steakhouses serving domestic Wagyu at Japanese A5 prices savories concluded with Pork Cheek in Curry and Kimchi Crab Cakes before a seasonal Sorbet and Roberto's family-recipe Flan. At the end of September EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine will transition to something new and exciting while Oscar and Roberto expand their reach east of Las Vegas Blvd. Though I may just be one voice, after 21 meals at EDO I'll nonetheless say Sin City has never had a better Restaurant in the global sense. I'll remember every visit fondly, especially those where I introduced new people to the sort of high-concept cooking people travel for. If you haven't been, now's the time to fix that, If you have, here's at least 15 reasons to go back before the change.

Had high expectations for the place due to all of the spectacular reviews. I love tapas and previously loved to go to Firefly whenever we are in town. Decided to switch it up a bit and come here instead. The space is fairly small, in the middle of a strip mall. The decor is beautiful and it's cozy. We opted to do a la carte as we had a pretty big lunch. First of all, the drinks were very good and strong, love the different variety of G&Ts. The bread was just ok, and the seafood rice was really really salty. I was very disappointed with that dish. The only highlight was the bikini, I know a lot of people talk about how thin it is, but I thought it was perfect. Service was great. However, given the plethora of options in this town, it just didn't wow me.

We tried Anima first, and it was amazing, so we had to try EDO. In my opinion, I liked Anima better, but both were amazing! When we were seated we got Watermelon gazpacho as an amuse bouche and it was amazing. Wanted a whole bowl of it! Ordered a lot of stuff off the menu, and everything was very good! Blue crab Croquettes Empenand oysters Bravas Caviar and egg It's nice inside but small, reservations really hard to get. Parking in the lot is atrocious, so leave some time to secure a spot during peak hours

Nice place for a date with the dim lights. Food was yummy enough to have me come back even if there was some acidity missing, creative flavors $94? Before tax and tip for 4 items and I am pleasantly full ================== Bikini - amazing. Super thin and some crunch finished with the honey was a nice sweet and salty Caesar croquettes - yummy and cheese was slightly strong smelling, but wish the texture inside was a bit stiffer and not as gooey. Also wish this had a little acid Green tartare - nice and refreshing, easy to eat but also would have preferred a touch more acidity Chicken - same as the others LOL comforting, but needs some acid Gazpacho - cold and yummy, flavorful Service Great! Our water was filled multiple times and everything came out in a timely manner. We got checked up on multiple times without asking.

4.5 This is a pretty cool tapas spot with Asian influences fusioned in. For the price ($90 base without tax tip) def one of the best value tasting menus. Everything was delicious and service was really great. If you're eating by yourself they can push it out as fast as you can eat it. I finished my meal in about an hr which works for me cause I didn't particularly want then to drag it out. Particularly loved the divorced scallops, the pork cheeks, Txangurro (not included in tasting menu), the lobster arrozz melosso (supplement), and the olive oil bread (the sauces were so good and unique) Overall, don't hesitate to give this spot a try. I'll def be back to try their other dishes as well as their sister restaurant.

Delicious tasting menu done 12/29/2024 Food was well timed and well seasoned. Olive oil bread was a great start with the gazpacho. Seafood tostada was a big hit. I really enjoyed the quality of the ahi tuna and the tender octopus. Cocktails were tasty, but a bit sweet for our party's preference. Highly recommend.

Sorry in advance but this place deserves a long review. Edo Gastro has been on my list since last year & we finally decided to go for a birthday celebration. We started with the Txangurro, 30-Day Dry Aged Striploin Carpaccio, and the Bikini. For drinks, we had the Smokin' Out the Window and Edo'ld Fashion. The Carpaccio & Txangurro really set the tone for how the rest of the night was going to be. For entrees, we ordered the Wagyu Entraña & Arroz Meloso con Uni. To be honest, the Wagyu was not up to par. I'd skip that and order something else. However It might sound corny, but it's been a while since I've had a dish that made me smile with every bite. The Arroz Meloso did exactly that. The Uni mixed into the bamba rice with bites of octopus and that white sauce (still no clue what it was) was perfect. For desserts, we ordered Chocolate Cremoso and Flan, paired it with the Carajillo and Midnight Coffee Run drinks. I expected the Flan to taste like the usual I've had, but the lemon curd on the side made a huge difference. The staff even surprised my bf with a candle on it, which was super sweet! One thing I loved was that every time a dish came out, the servers explained what it was. Oh & you can also order a round of beers for the kitchen staff to compliment them ! The venue itself is intimate so it's perfect for date night. We're already planning on coming back to do their Tasting Menu & I heard the menu changes (not sure how often) but I'm excited to see what Chef Edo has in store.

Aloha, we're back in LV and had to return to Edo GTW. Still my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas and you know we eat at amazing places. Our 3rd tapas bar this trip including JA Bazzar Mar and ADB. Edo by far the best. We had the pre fixe and added on everything else. You've got to come here. See my pictures. Enjoy!

Our first time here and it was quite an experience! I believe we had special treatment bc someone knew the chef. Which, I'm not complaining about! Honestly we had a special menu, so I can't even describe what we had. Just know this place is delicious and you should try it !

    Octopus with tamarind mole
    Liz J.

Wow! The best meal we had in Vegas! The food was amazing, each tapas brought me back to when I was traveling in Spain. The service was impeccable. Servers were very polite and attentive. We had: - Peruvian scallops (amazing flavor combos, so unexpected) - croquetas (creamy, crunchy and delish) - bravas potatoes (so crispy and amazing, aioli was so good. We got 2 orders of it) - bikini (crispy and sweet) - Spanish octopus (amazing tamarind mole don't hesitate to get this it was cooked perfectly) - Kurobata pork cheek (so fork tender the curry sauce was so good) Don't wait! If you're looking for a good meal come here!

Love the ambiance, it's like being whisked to Spain!

The food, service, ambiance, and overall experience here are absolutely outstanding. Made a reservation easily on their website and was seated immediately upon arrival. The staff is all very friendly, but there was a bit of a wait, about 5-10 minutes after being seated before being served. I tried the tasting menu and it was about 9 bites of heaven. They had to make some substitutions but all of it was still out of this world. Definitely go for the melt in your mouth Iberico add-on as it was so incredibly delicious. The bread was freshly baked with a crispy crust and fluffy inside and served with an assortment of delicious sauces. The scallops were also awesome with one having a bit of heat and the other having a lovely sweet and savory profile. The shrimp and crab ensaladilla was packed with flavor and had just a little heat on the finish. The texture was incredible. The seafood tostada had guacamole, 7 different seafoods, and a delicious savory sauce that were a few of the best bites of the night. It was incredible! The housemade sausage and potato and egg were both delightful, and the fried chicken with aioli and caviar is the stuff dreams are made of. The pork cheeks were a close second as they were melt in your mouth tender with a savory sauce and soft potatoes, topped with peppers. The strawberry sorbet and popcorn mousse were the perfect finish. I also had a couple glasses of wine to include the Albarino and a substitute for Cava (they only had Rosé Cava available, which I don't prefer). Both were great and average about $15 a glass. Overall for about $100 the tasting was a great time and worth the price. I left full and happy. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. I want to come back and try the black cod, the bravas potatoes, the lobster arroz meloso and the wagyu hangar steak. The carpaccio also looks divine. Can't wait to come back!

A definite yes to this restaurant!! Wow! The food was absolutely amazing. As a newbie, we tried the chefs tasting menu. Tapas style, small plates, imaginative, gourmet, fulfilling. We went with my brother who was visiting for the holidays and we both enjoy cooking a lot. I looked over at him at one point as he took a bite of the first offering and he looked as though he was going to cry from happiness. The service was absolutely great, the waiters were there to clear your plates for the next round but did not hover. The restaurant is in a very busy strip mall surrounded by other eateries and bars so parking may be a bit hard. Highly highly recommend Edos!!

Does EDO have a bar if you are eating alone?

Hello Allan, thank you for your question. We don’t have a bar at this location. We have tables available that are perfect for 1 or 2 people.

Is this friendly for gluten-free? I need to find restaurants I can take people with celiac to.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. We have many gluten-free options. We frequently take care of people with Celiac.

Is there anything for kids to eat?

No. They are so busy there are no special requests.

    Is there a flamenco dancer?

Thank you for your question. We don’t have any live entertainment.

Is the tasting menu available for a solo diner?

Yes. I believe so since each person is charged a flat rate for the wine pairing dinners. I'd call Joe who handles the wine pairing dinners and ask. They are so nice at Anima Edo. I know you'll have a great experience.

I would love to have my birthday at your restaurant but it will be a group of 18 on a Friday night . Is that possible?

It's a smaller place so you would have to make reservations. They have capability to fit 18. If you do the sampling menu everyone at the table has to do it, I believe.

    Do you serve paella?

Yes, Chef can always make paella for 2. He usually has short ribs, seafood or vegetarian.

What time is happy hour and do you have a special menu for it?

Hello from EDO, thank you for your question. We have a very small room, so we run a short happy hour only. It is currently available Mon-Fri from 5-6pm and it includes half priced cocktail of the day, sangria, Stella Artois, Moscow mule and selected… Read more

If young children attend with parents taking part in the testing menu is the charge the same for the children?

Hello from EDO, thank you for your question. Children don’t have to participate on the tasting menu. Only the adults. You may order a la carte for the children.

Are tasting menus available all the time?

Thank you for your question. Yes, it is always available.

Do you have any outdoor seating?

Thank you for your question. We only have indoor dining at EDO.

How late do they stay open? We have a reservation for 8:45, but yelp says it closes at 9...

Hello, thank you for your question. We stop seating at 9pm, but we will continue to serve until we are done. As long as you get here at 9pm or earlier, no one will rush you. Thank you!

How many people will the Suckling Pig feed?

Our whole suckling pig is enough for 6-8ppl. The pigs we buy are average 10lbs before cleaning. You might want to add some some tapas before the pig. Thank you

Is there an age restriction (ex. 13 and over) or are kids not allowed to join their parents?

Hello Jacqueline, thank you for your question. We do not have any age restrictions at Edo Tapas. Please let us know if we can further assist. Thank you 🙏

How much does the tasting menu usually run per person?

    $48

Do they do a vegetarian tasting menu?

Yes, they have a fully vegan tasting menu. $40/person last time I went. Please note the whole table has to get the tasting menu.

    Do they have vegan menu?

We have a gourmet vegan tasting menu now!!

    What is the corkage fee?

Corkage fee is $25 per 750ml bottle.

The touch of masago was 10/10 paired with the waffle and cream sauce! Ugh my fav truly. Next we got the Brushetta and my partner loved it. He said the tomatoes were delicious and paired well with the bread and sauce it was marinated with. I did try a bite even though I'm a tomato hater but man you can tell the tomatoes were fresh. I had a piece with no tomatoes because I loved whatever was on top as whatever the tomatoes were marinated in! Next came the Sausage Rolls and man were they delicious paired with their homemade cheese dip! I don't think I'd get again because it's quite heavy with the wine but def glad I tried. Lastly was the Chef's Tasting Board... this was so good. You could tell the cheese and meats were fresh and paired very well all together. A little short staff, but the team were all friendly and all were assisting each other to fill in the gaps of service. Bartender seated me as host stand was not manned, other servers bussing and running food as bartender was busy. Appreciate the awareness and assistance.
