i went in for a free consultation with envy today! the staff got back to me super fast about this…read moreappointment when i requested a booking on the website two days ago. they took the time to look at the tattoo i wanted, including the size, color, gradient, et cetera, and found an artist who would best create the art i wanted for me. despite being a little late, envy was very, very sweet and attentive, answering all of my questions and making sure to be honest about his abilities and his skills. he explained to me how he does his work and why, which made me trust him and his skills very much. his pricing is a bit steep for me right now, but his work and detail makes it completely worth it. he focuses, he told me, on the skin as much as the art, since he specializes in fine line work. the shop itself was very clean and offered lollipops, which is a huge plus. the music they were playing was great!! love the art on the wall, and the hustle butter deals they offered. front of house staff was very nice. the only thing that is driving me away from the shop is the pricing. while i do believe that the quality of the work they provide is well worth the price, i am a broke college student, so i may need to wait some time to actually book. they price by the hour at 250 dollars (for cash). they take a 100 dollar deposit when booking, which scared me at first, but envy told me that they subtract that deposit from the final price of the appointment. i think that is very generous, and as a customer i appreciate it. i look forward to booking down the line!!

When we walked in the studio I was so impressed with how nice the studio was. The customer service was super nice and Bruce was so easy to work with! Bruce Kaplan absolutely did an amazing job on my tattoo and made me feel comfortable. He answered all of my questions and my husbands questions. We felt so comfortable my husband booked his next tattoo before we left the studio. The prices are fair for the patience, technique and great customer service you receive. I would definitely return and recommend Bruce!

I decided to finally face my fears and get my first tattoo. I emailed my idea and availability and they got back to me a few days later because they were on vacation. I didn't end up booking until maybe almost a month later (emailed in June) because I had to make sure I had the right amount of funds. Thankfully the deposit I made secured my spot for the following week and due to wanting a change in the design Yida was kind enough to consult with me on the change. The tattoo was on my chest and it was quite painful but at the same time tolerable. Jing did a lovely job on my piece and I felt at ease being there. We took breaks but she finished in about two and a half hours. I'll cherish this piece for the rest of my life. I definitely plan on coming back soon. I feel like I made the right choice in trusting Jing!

The studio was very clean and Shane thoroughly explained the steps before even sitting in the chair and then again as she did it while sterilizing the equipment. I was a bit nervous and Shane was very reassuring. I can be a baby with pain and so Shane first pinched the area to numb it and it really wasn't bad at all. Stung for about 20 seconds! That afternoon I kept forgetting it was even there since no pain. I have some health issues so Shane was very good and patient about me standing up slowly from the chair and lying me down while doing the piercing so I wouldn't be dizzy.
