So, after work I went to Olger to see the truck and test drive, when I called to make sure the truck was still there the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was upfront about the pricing and dealer fee. I met Dave the salesman and from the moment I met him he was nothing but helpful, respectful and broke everything down to me there was no hidden agendas. I paid cash and he was open about everything. The gentleman in finance was great as well. I had no issues and they even helped me get the truck on a flat bed and towed to my house to surprise my husband. Be cautious with this dealership. They advertise good deals and have lots of positive reviews, but once you sit down to buy, you'll find out about a massive $3,000 dealer fee that isn't disclosed upfront. That's outrageous because I've never seen anything close to that. If you're using outside financing (like Police and Fire Credit Union), they won't accept your check and push their own financing instead. Staff like David were polite and helpful, but the pricing tactics are misleading. Ask for the full out-the-door price before you go, or you'll waste your time. read more

I recently found Olger Motors online while searching for a used pickup truck, and I quickly discovered they have a huge selection, even bigger than most dealerships. They do a good job detailing and adding leather to the trucks, and everything looks really nice. However, you do need to go there prepared. Negotiate the advertised price upfront, because after you agree on a price, they add a $3,000 fee. Also, they do not accept outside financing, $900 surcharge to use one of their lenders with inflated rates. There are lots of hidden fees, so understand they false advertise just to get you in the door. Your end price will be in line with "fair" KBB assessment. On the positive side, when my check engine light came on the way home, this really did happen, they did agree to fix it at no cost. But....I had made an appointment over a week in advance and was promised a one-hour service, which turned into six hours, so that was a waste of time. Overall, the sales person (I worked with David), the owner and the finance manager will tell you what you want to hear, look you in the eyes, and lie. Be prepared for the stereotypical ick feeling associated with used car lots, but they do have solid inventory. read more

I called and requested a final price with all fees on a truck listed at $42,875. I was quoted fees of $2995 for a financed purchase or $3995 for a cash purchase. I do not know of any dealer that charges fees of $3000 on top of their advertised price. The fees are not listed on their website nor on cars.com. I would be cautious of any dealer adding this much in fees, as it is very misleading. read more

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would...Absolutely horrible customer service and hospitality. The company is owned by someone foreign to the US and he does not understand the proper financial and banking procedures and how they apply to out of state purchases...or maybe he does and he's intentionally running a scam like others have stated. My experience: (can provide proof if anyone wishes to see) I asked a series of questions and justifications on their financing policies, and they never got back to me and a week went by and I myself had to follow up with them by reaching out and asking "if this is how their customer service is because it's been over a week with no response to my justified questions" that is when I get a call from the owner and then all this happened...Some background of me and my experiences first...My family and I, have owned and operated heavy duty construction, landscaping and trucking companies for over 4 decades (considerably longer than Olger and it's owner have even existed and resided in the US) all these companies are still active, and over those years I've personally seen and or been apart of close to 3 dozen vehicle transactions in my state of Nebraska including multiple out of state purchases ranging from coast to coast, north and south. I have been trying to buy a DIESEL F150 from Olger, ford don't make them anymore and they have one with the specific options and low miles I wanted for a daily driver for our company, and THE OWNER of Olger told me I couldn't purchase the vehicle unless I pay cash because my state doesn't allow HIM to register the vehicle for me...never in all my personal experiences and the experiences I've seen from other businesses, dealerships and people, has the dealer ever had to or been required to be the entity to register the vehicle for any situation I've seen or that I know of. That includes every out of state purchase we've ever made or I've seen, which there's been well over a dozen, probably close to 20 or so. I actually just got back from Washington state 2 weeks ago, from picking up a diesel Audi for my wife. So, I try explaining all this to the owner, and how this process works and that I think our disconnect with the process might have something to do with him being foreign and potentially not fully and or properly understanding the financial laws and how they apply to the states. Which, as God as my witness, based off the broken English, is a very justifiable thing to assume and it has absolutely nothing to do with being prejudice. Simple example: nobody starts a new job and just knows everything about it and the company itself right away, hell some people still learn new things even after being there and established 5-10 years down the road or another example of traveling to another country for vacation and trying to manage getting along while not knowing or being fluent in their language...let alone knowing all their government and laws...Anyway, he proceeds to tell me I'm wrong and that the 100s of thousands of dollars we've spent throughout multiple states all over the US over the years, has been wrong, and all those dealers were wrong and that HE'S the one doing it right...that's when his ego was out in full swing and no reality whatsoever went through his head thinking... "maybe this construction company owner with a business record of millions in purchases and 100s of thousands of those purchases being out of state purchases too, also his record being multiple decades older and longer than me even being in the US, let alone my car dealership's existence...maybe he could be right and maybe I'm wrong or missing something on this end. Maybe I should look into it some more so I don't miss out on this guys business and future out of state business"...yeah no reality of a thought like that went through this guy's head at all whatsoever. He became very rude, turned things into a slight "Richard" measuring contest and told me he didn't want to do business with me and then hung up. So as a customer, unless this guy has something very specific on his lot that you just have to have, I would strong avoid doing business here. Too much ego, ignorance, and lack of accountability. So Godspeed to you if you do and hopefully the vehicle you purchase is still under manufacturer warranty, because based off my personal experience and judging by others' reviews, you'll be SOL trying to get a guy who is never wrong to fix, pay or take accountability for a thing after leaving his lot. read more

So an update to my last review of olger motors , after my 1st review (same day) I received a text msg from the salesmen I used at the dealer, he said they will agree to send a check for $350 to help correct the paint issue that is costing me $1500, I figured it was better then nothing, so after a week of waiting I text him back ( let me know when the check is sent so I can look out for it) then he text me back saying ( the check will be sending on Monday, I will send you a tracking #) well guess what! no tracking # and no more response, so STAY CLEAR OF THIS SLIMY dealership , they are liars and do not stand behind there product read more

There $3000 inspection fee is bullshit, i ended up paying almost another $1500 cause of there "inspection" tires werent balanced, brakes were changed but rotors were still old truck was wobbling while braking, brake lights didnt work, alingment was off, go to oil change they put the oil filter on so tight my new oil filter wrench snapped. The sales person we met with was very nice and knowledgeable about the car we wanted to purchase. They were about to closing so we decided to go home and think about it over night. I called the next day(2 hours after they opened) to try and see if he could come down slightly in price. He wouldn't budge even $500. I decided to contact (via email)him an hour later in order to get a final price with taxes and fees(in writing). He responded several hours later to tell me it was sold. Poor business. Common courtesy would be to contact me before selling it to someone else. When I told him I was disappointed in him, this was his response... Stay away! Total scam artists..Read the one star reviews before even considering this place. I went there to buy a 2018 F150 listed as $26,995, I was told the price on the truck was not negotiable because it included everything (no hidden fees), when I got to the table I told the salesman Alex I'd put $10k down, and pay tax title transfer fees etc with separate check leaving $17k balance to be financed. $17k at 48 months at 5.7% interest rate is $397 per month with a total loan amount $19,057 plus the $10k down = $29,057 total truck cost. Well, the sales scammer came back and said congratulations your approved at $397 per month then all the sudden there was $1,750 dealer prep fee. When I asked to confirm the loan term I was shocked when Alex said 72 months. 72 months x $365 at 5.7% is a total loan of 28,581, plus $10k down plus $1,750 = $40,382 total truck cost (should only be $29,057), Olger tried to swindle me out of $12,325 so I walked out. My take, they add hidden costs and are robbing people with shady financing deals which they probably run through their own bank. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Price was listed for 31995 and that was all I had; but after they added all their fees, including the delivery and inspection charge of 1495, the price went up to 36779. I was ready to buy it right away but not for that price, so I called them the next day to offer 32K w/ taxes and fees included (which was the price they had on the sticker), but they didn't accept my offer, so I just walked away. Let me add also that the time I walked in the office, nobody even paid attention to me, nobody asked if I needed some help; so I agree with the reviews saying that customer service sucks. read more

Scam. They seem to have good prices, but then the fees they add on are ridiculous. Some bait and switch going on too. I went in after confirming the car in question was in stock. But then it was magically sold a day later when I got there. Still shows on their web site though, which I showed to the sales man on my phone. He just shrugged and pleaded ignorance. Of course I was shown a "better" truck, which was more expensive. It actually turned out to be decent. They are the worst and I will never recommend this company to anyone. They also collect tax on your purchase and proceed to fill out the title with a tax exempt fake tax exempt saying they never received the taxes on my purchase even though it shows you paid taxes on the vehicle. They try to pocket the tax money and report to the DMV you didn't pay the tax so the DMV then try's to get the money from you so please keep you receipt from the purchase of your truck as that will show Olger Motors is trying to screw you. I am reporting them to the IRS and the owner and all employees as they are all in on the scam. I am going to sue them also for all the trouble I went through. I was interested in a truck. Got down to somewhat of a manageable monthly payment (they wouldn't budge on price) and said I'd be by tomorrow to pick it up. Paid for a 50 dollar Uber to go down there for them to tell me someone put a deposit down on the truck and it was no longer available. Stay away from these guys. Would give zero stars if I could. Went in after setting up an appointment for a truck I was interested in. Met with David who seemed to have zero interest in me as a client even though I repeatedly said it was the exact truck I was looking for. Thanks to the other reviews, the additional $3000 dealership fee was not a shock, and I was expecting this. As usual- they kept asking me "what I want my monthly payment to be". I continued to state that I am not concerned about the payment amount. That I need to know the financing rate for no more than 48 months so I can decide what makes more sense for my situation: purchasing the vehicle outright vs. financing. They (salesman David and sales manager) obviously did not take me seriously as a single young female. I finally convinced them to please run my credit application and asked the sales manager to call me tomorrow with an offer. He proceeded to mansplain to me how financing works, why I should not reach out to credit union to finance etc etc. I shrugged it all off and expected a call after filling out an online application. The next day I did not receive a call but instead got an email from David asking if they had permission yet to submit my application. What?! Meaning my personal information was sitting on a computer for anyone to have access to for almost 24 hours! I was livid but wanted the truck so told him yes to run it and then have the sales manager call me. No call. David emailed me with an offer for a loan that was for 60-72 months. I wrote back and repeated that I do not want a loan that long and asked if this was initial rate given by the bank or the one that the sales manager negotiated as he said he would. David wrote back and said the rate was not negotiated yet and that he would let me know the final offer. Never heard from them again. Went to a different dealership and bought a truck and paid cash. My son was interested in a specific truck that was listed online at this dealer. When we arrived to see the truck we noted that there was black paint overspray on all of the brakes. We discovered that they painted the undercarriage of the truck with black paint which is where the over spray on the brakes came from. We looked at other trucks on the lot and they all had the same black paint. We asked how long they've had this truck and he said 3 months! This was a 2019 with 16K miles that was a beautiful truck. We were surprised they had it so long but likely it was in the shop having its undercarriage painted to hide whatever issues it may or may not have had. We later read in other reviews that they get many of their trucks from Canada so maybe they are trying to hide rust. IDK! We also were told by the salesman that they charge a $4,000 "dealership" fee. Scam Alert! This dealership not only doesn't allow outside financing, or offer KBB value as they say they do "unlike other dealerships" but they tried charging us a FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR DEALER FEE. Separate from any MVC charge, taxes, etc. Reading other reviews, it seems we somehow were hit with one of the highest dealer fees at this dealership and coupled with their comments to us about our likely high credit score, truck being paid off and more, I am confident we were profiled and targeted. Please check the Yelp reviews and lowest reviews on Google before visiting. They specifically brought up their reviews while we were sitting there as they played the waiting game with us, I suspect a majority of them on Google are fraudulent. It appears that most of their vehicles are imported from Canada and we have learned since that any warranties will not be covered here in the US. Scam alert! I walked in to the showroom waited to speak to Chris the salesman. I told him I was interested in the 2019 F150 for $38,995 with 24K miles. He asked me if I was doing financing I said no I have a check. He said the dealership doesn't like that because they're losing 4K in interest on the loan. On Olger Motors CarGurus website doesn't mention anything about lucrative fees. He added $3,899.99 to to price of the truck. He called it a dealer fee! I said what dealership charges a $4,000 dealer fee. He said because of Covid we can charge this now because all the dealerships are charging that. I called the ford dealership he recommended that did it. American Ford or something and they charge a $599 dealer fee. The truck originally went for 42,995 but lowered it $4K, that's called a bait and switch. It's sad they lost a sale because I have a check and the car fax said they got the truck registered to them in September of 2021. The truck has been sitting there that long and they lose a sale. No dealership doesn't disclose a $4K fee! I can see $600 but that's ridiculous. Not to mention I called yesterday and Chris didn't mention anything about it. I asked for the manager and he said he hears you. I told Chris I would like to speak to one and he had no interest of coming out to talk to me. Do not fall for this dealership!
