Be cautious of them trying to add an additional warrantee and be cautious of them accidentally adding your trade in value to the final purchase price... Overall it was quick and easy to buy. The license plate transfer was a flop might be easier to do at the DMV. Very disappointed in the service department and how I was treated. I contacted the dealership to request a recall reimbursement form, as I had paid out of pocket for a repair two years before the recall was officially issued. Ford Customer Service clearly explained the process: I needed to bring the completed form and proof of payment to my local Ford service manager--even though I no longer own the vehicle (we were forced to sell it due to repeated issues, including a blown engine at only 65,000 miles despite solid maintenance history). When I spoke with the service manager, I explained everything, including Ford's policy. His response? He laughed and said, "Yeah, I'm not doing this." Not only was this dismissive and unprofessional--it directly contradicted what I was told by Ford Motor Company and their customer service team. I owned the vehicle when the recall was announced, which qualifies me for reimbursement according to Ford. It's completely unacceptable for a service manager to refuse to follow corporate policy and treat customers this way. As someone who worked in dealership service for many years, I would never have spoken to a customer like that--especially one simply trying to follow the proper process. His attitude and lack of knowledge (or willingness) to assist shows a serious gap in training and accountability. At this point, I am working directly with Ford Corporate and will no longer deal with this dealership for anything. Initial monthly was within my spending limit, but upon signing final docs, they helped me get a lower monthly from the lender, by tons! First I would just like to say Victoria was great and has been pleasant each time we've communicated. Had an appointment this morning to discuss my option with an electric car. I did change my mind and I own that but I was told they could work with me. The gentleman said they didn't even have the electric cars which I was told they had two and online they have 3 on transit. Gentleman at the front desk I don't recall his name, said no way I could get any car there under $300 per month. That I need to read the fine print which I always do. Almost like your a morón and no way you can get anything. Had he worked with me, or at least humored me. We would've done a deal and I would've had a down payment. They lost out and I won't be coming back. Nor will I be recommending any others that have purchased F150's, Explorers, Edges and my father was looking for the a Ranger. Moral of the story don't dismiss people. I am sure I could've gotten an escape but he didn't even try. Shame! Meanwhile I got my ford Edge from them for $389 with minimum money down before and a ford escape before that for under $300. In general most people despise the thought of car shopping. My experience at Woodbridge Ford, was even worse than normal. I got a letter about 2 months ago from the GM Mike Marceca. The letter from Mike indicated he wanted to buy my existing car, and have me purchase a new Ford from his dealership. The letter included Mike's phone number. I called 5 times over 2 weeks, and each time I left a voicemail on Mike's personal voicemail. He never called back or left a message. Not once! A few weeks later a salesman from Woodbridge Ford, named Axel called me, and said he was taking over for Mike. I told Axel I was on vacation, and I would call him this week. Axel told me to call back on Wednesday, 9 /17. I called Axel 3 times yesterday, he never called back. I also texted his cell 3 times. No reply. Stay as far away from this dealership as possible! I brought my 2025 Ford Explorer in for a Ford light install. Not only do the lights not work but the mechanics have caused over $35,000 worth of damage to my car and the issue still is not fixed. Now my doors do not work, I have a check engine light, carbon monoxide fills the cabin, black fumes come out the exhaust, and the navigation is completely non-functional. If I could give this dealership a zero rating I would. Not to mention the service advisor John is absolutely disrespectful to everyone and only cares about money. I bought a car the first week of August. First time my plates expired , I called 10x and left voicemails/emails for them to let me know what the status of my registration and plates expiring on 9/2. No one called back or follows up with me from there, if im pleased or displeased, it was kind of like off you go, have a nice life. Saturday 9/27 I went to the dealership and my plates were still not in. Gave them another call, going through another set of loops to talk to Eric, he tells me "he forgot to get them in the mail on Thursday." 3rd set of paper plates showed up today 10/8. Let me start off saying the car I bought is great, I'm very happy with the car. HOWEVER, the experience with the people at the dealership (details to follow) had been very disappointing and frustrating. I bought a used car last Wednesday (5/14) at Woodbridge Ford after doing much research. I test drove the car, noting that the car had old food (French fries) on the floor in the back, salesman I worked with said they would have that cleaned. Once inside to look at the numbers, they tried to add on $4,000 for packages that was not included in the price advertised. After refusing to pay for those, the salesman came back with another salesman to talk to me. I explained that I would not be paying for those add ons and I was already pre-approved by a bank (one that is partnered with the dealership) for the price that was advertised plus tax. The two men left to go talk to the manager, however thr older salesman loudly and rudely said she's not gonna work with us. Finally they returned and said the finance manager would be moving forward with me. After more back and forth with the finance manager, another gentleman came in, who seemed annoyed. We were finally able to reach a price that worked with everyone after 3 and a half hours. I will say that the only positive part of my experience there was that Sam, the finance manager was very helped and explained the paperwork multiple times when I asked for clarification. Two days later (5/16), I noticed the windshield had a few chips and upon closer look there was a Crack that had spread. Now, I test drove the car in the evening so between the rain and lack of sunlight, it wasn't noticeable (the cracks are at the bottom closer to the hood). The other thing I noticed was the back tires had dirt caked on them. I went to clean them the next day (three days after buying the car) and realized the tires were cracked and dry rotted. I called the dealership (on 5/20) to speak to someone about this because I dont feel its right to sell a car that was dirty (food was still in the car that was found on the test drive) and not in the best condition. I was able to get in touch with Sam, the finance manager (he was the only one I had a name and number for), who said he would reach out to my salesman, Chris D., and the used car manager. I never heard back, so I tried calling again to check the next day (5/21). I was given the run around and passed to different extensions and disconnected. My husband tried calling as well and had the same experience but was able to leave a message for Sam, requesting a call back. I bought a used Mazda CX 9 with about 7K miles. They passed this car off as never being in an accident. After several months the front right fender kept popping out which I also had to them prior to taking it off the lot, which they told me they fixed and the back end had some bubbles. I went to a local dealership who told me that the car had obviously been repainted front and back and probably in 2 accidents. I also want to mention after having the car for about 3 weeks the car would not keep a charge. The car was at the dealership for almost 8 business days - 2 shy for the lemon law. The car needed a new entertainment system. That was free of charge, but I had no car for almost 2 weeks. This may or may not be related. I still like the car as this is my second CX9. read more

This is the worst car dealer I have ever been to and I have been buying cars for 35 years. Pure nightmare. I was looking at a Corvette that was advertised for $74,800 on Carfax. I was dealing with the salesman Eric who was the nicest guy but the dumbest. He says that's a mistake we have the car advertised for 78,400. Then he goes to speak to the manager Mike and comes back 20 minutes later with a piece of paper. On the top of the paper is the price of $74,800 and at the bottom it's again 78,400. 3,000 $3,000 was some bullshit environmental fee. I knew they were messing with me so I told him to suck my you know what. A few days later the manager Mike calls me and agrees to sell me the car for the advertised price and I explained that I'm sorry but that's the price that I'm going to negotiate over. I went to see the car and offered them less and they wouldn't take it so I told him to call me if the price gets lowered. By the way Eric told me the price was a mistake and will be fixed. I called a week later and said the price never got fixed and he said well it takes a while.I said I'm sorry that's bullshit I've sold cars on Carfax and you could change the price immediately. Anyway since then the price has been lowered three times and is now at 71400 and they never called me. I told Eric that I'm a buyer at 73500. I also explained to him that I'm looking at another Corvette that's a convertible somewhere else. This moron tells me that I shouldn't get a Corvette because it gets cold in the winter. I said it's a hard top convertible his response was so is ours. I said no your car is not a convertible it's called a targa top. Then he tells me a bunch of other nonsense. I said Eric you're a nice guy but you're selling cars over 40 years and you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Don't try and sell a product that the customer knows much more about than you do. You just throwing all kinds of nonsense out there trying to build urgency but making yourself look terrible in the process. Anyway I've tried to reach other people to buy the car and they give me the runaround. At this point now they can keep it. I've never seen a business operate so unprofessionally. They don't honor advertise prices and they tack on ridiculous fees. Read the reviews everybody says the same thing. You have to be a fucking moron to buy anything from them. Purchased my Bronco Sport in November, 2024. Today is April 3, 2025 and I still do not have my registration. It will be my 5th time next week walking into the dealer to get yet another temporary plate. I was told "the big boss" and my sales person would call DMV directly the following Monday to find out what the issue is or if there is a problem with the title.......How can there be a problem with the title???? That was exactly 3 weeks ago. And to date no updates, no return phone calls, nothing. If I read the horrible reviews before I purchased this car, I never would have purchased at this dealer. I spoke to them (Victoria) at 2 PM today about two separate used Ford Explorers they are currently advertising on the Woodbridge Ford website. Victoria confirmed both were available and present at their location. I told her I would be there before 6:15PM. I drove 30 miles and arrived exactly at 6:15 PM and guess what? He told me the initials stood for "blah blah business development." OK, Joe Isuzu, whatever you say. These guys make Jerry Lundegaard look like an Eagle Scout. I'm reporting them to Ford, the New Jersey Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau. Anyway, buyer beware. These guys have a strained relationship with the truth. The only reason that I purchased an used BMW here instead of from a BMW dealer is because that they happened to have a car w/ color/options that I preferred. I don't even want to go into all those extra "service charges" they tried to add without explaining to me first as I knew how things work in some car dealership. That BMW was one of the most expensive cars on their lot during that time, yet the post-purchase service was a tragedy. I didn't receive my registration after a month (no need new plate, just registration), and the sales person, Jessie, had zero intention to help resolve it with really poor or no communication. In the end, I had to call various people in the dealership and tracked down what was holding, and resolved it by myself. There are small parts (window trim) that they promised (w/ signed agreement) to replace...I never heard from them either. This is a sales business and referral is critical. Worst customer service in sales I've ever seen! Everyone was nice and it started out ok, but I literally had to follow up 10 times and never heard back. Not that I want to be harassed, but at least have the decency to follow up. I made an appoint to come see a used vehicle. When I showed up, the vehicle was not there, but the sales person was helpful and offered to show it at their service location 10 minutes away. The next day I texted with him and asked him to call me to discuss price, never heard back so I made another trip up there (40 minutes away from me). The first sales person was not there, so I was assigned another. I drove the car and noticed the brakes were shaking, so I asked him to have it checked before I buy it. I also made an offer that was below ask, and they told me they could not budge, which is fine, so I asked for the total price with taxes and fees. I had to leave before the manager came back, so I asked the sales rep to call me with the numbers, never heard back (again). Three days later I was in the area seeing other cars, so I stopped in. This time my new sales rep was not in yet, but they kept me waiting 10 minutes to find this out. The manager came over and had me write my name, phone number and my 2 questions on a piece of paper (brakes and final price) to leave for the sales rep. It has been a week and I have not heard back. I texted the sales number several times and they said I would hear back, but still have not. I ended up putting a deposit on a more expensive car with another dealership, but told Ford that they still had a chance if someone would just call me. They verbally confirmed it was available, and also sent me an email stating it was available along with a quote for the price. I informed them that I would be driving from CT to view the car that evening. They scheduled an appointment and said the car would be ready for me to view and test drive. After driving 4 hours, I arrive at the dealership and was immediately told that the vehicle was previously sold. They then immediately tried to push several other vehicles on me. When I told them I was NOT interested in the other vehicles, they then offered to order me a vehicle. This is completely dishonest since Ford isn't even taking orders for this vehicle. They lied to get me into their dealership, and they lied about their ability to place orders with Ford. I have never dealt with such a dishonest dealership. I had called yesterday and made an appoinment to see a Honda Accord which was I found in the inventory. I was told that the car was at the location, cleaned, prepped and ready for sale, also as advertised on their website. I took a day off of work and drove over and hour to see the vehicle. When I arrived, I learned that the car wasn't there, but at another location, but that they were bringing it over. After at least 30 minutes of waiting, instead I was asked to follow them to a different location to see the vehicle which was very dirty and a disastor. I was also told that I was only permitted to drive it in the parking lot as it still needed servicing and could break down. The sales person was very nice and this situation was not his fault. However this dealership is poorly run and has a dishonest nature. I do NOT recommend this business to anyone. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Whatever price you see online for a car, add $6,000+ when you go there to look at it. When you ask Miguel why, he will tell you "That's the price we use to get you in the door". They'll give you some excuse that it's because the car is "certified", however my "certified" car wouldn't even pass inspection three days after I purchased it because the car had no front and rear brake pads, needed front and rear rotors, and had one tire that had almost no tread on it. I was presented with a Carfax for the car that said there was a pre-delivery inspection performed prior to the car being listed for sale, so clearly, they didn't check much. I called the dealership every day for a week and got the run around from everyone, was told someone would call me back by twenty different people and no one did. Finally, I was able to arrange for the repairs to be done and to get a loaner car. I was told by Miguel that the vehicle would be going to another dealership for the repairs due to it not being a Ford make. I put a tracker on the car and imagine my surprise when I saw that the car was not at the dealership where I was told the work would be done, but at Woodbridge Ford Service Department. When the repairs were completed and I asked what was done, I was told the brakes and one tire, however the car is all wheel drive and all four tires needed to be replaced, otherwise the transfer case and transmission would be damaged. When I said that to the Used Car Manager, I was told "I don't know where you got that information, but that's incorrect, and at the end of the day, the car only needed one tire to pass inspection so that's all they did". After leaving the dealership, my brake pedal was sinking to the floor, which it wasn't doing before I dropped it off, so now I have to pay my mechanic to fix the issue on a "certified" car that I purchased only three weeks ago because I will NEVER return there and have ZERO confidence in their service department. I recently went into the Woodbridge Ford Dealership located at 820 US-1 N Iselin, NJ. I spoke to Jesse, after running back and forth to the dealership I discovered the following: Jesse deliberately didn't respond about a car (2020 Hyundai Elantra, Blue) because he lied about not being able to find the keys. Funny that the car got sold when I asked about it moments later. Jesse also told me about loopholes dealing with credit unions, banks, and loans. Jesse wanted a down payment on TOP of receiving a check he wouldn't accept at first from my credit union and suggested I did research prior to coming in.Jesse, the amount I got approved for and and credit union would only need to cover the amount If I had a difference to pay. There was a reason why I told you this amount I got approved for. You tried to pressure me into purchasing an Audi Q3 with over 100k miles for $10k, a terrible deal for the mileage especially for my first car. Jesse also didn't communicate with me at all, when I texted him about ETA, coming in, and now I have wasted gas and time going back and forth about a car I never really had a chance of getting. The communication i received was did I call, after that I was left on read multiple times. I had a representative pickup at the dealer twice to relay the message to him. Extremely unprofessional, and manipulative of not responding to bring me in to force money out of my hands I didn't have. I made it clear a credit union would cover the cost of the vehicle. The money I should be paying would ONLY be for insurance and gas, or to the loan. I was completely transparent and simply ask for everyone to stay FAR away from this dealership. Even if you have a credit score that's good or poor I wouldn't trust it. Be honest from the jump and don't chase numbers, this is an easy way to drive customers away . read more

The entire Service department personnel needs mechanic, etiquette and empathy training as soon as possible. Messed up one part of my vehicle while attempting to fix another. Very unprofessional, defensive and rude group (including billing women!) with the exception of only one person and he wasn't even the manager. Managers should be the EXAMPLE not the PROBLEM. I ended up getting a new lease just to not have to deal with those individuals and I will not be bringing my new Ford vehicle back to that Service department ever again! I wish I read the reviews before I went in there. The car I went in for, they said was being serviced. I found another one and was interested. They come back with over $7000 in bs fees. When I questioned it, they said they would drop one but not the other and that someone else is now interested in the car. I said no thanks and got up to walk out. Buyers BEWARE! Avoid this dealership at all costs. Their financial department is ridiculous. I have traded in my car with the balance that was supposed to be paid by the dealership. They have promised it will be done in a couple of days. The deal was done on 10/04/2022 as of 10/17/2022 the car is still not paid off!!! I will need to make an additional payment on my account to avoid being late. Have been calling them on the daily basis to resolve this, without any success. First, I was told that the check was mailed. Then they said that the payment was made electronically on 10/11, and again, it wasn't. read more

Ok so...... once they have your money.... Don't expect ANY help! Sales guy was great until they had my money. Then.... POOF!!! Like a fart in the wind. With my purchase, I bought and paid extra for an accessory that had to be installed after the fact. I tried for the 3 weeks following the buy to get paperwork that service was going to need. Run around, excuses, run around, messages left, no callbacks... etc etc. so I went directly to the service department which is at a different location! 2 miles away. That was a little nugget that the sales guy neglected to mention. It has been 6 WEEKS! 6 WEEKS since I walked through the service doors! After dealing with the service guy for 4 weeks, always chasing him, he never calls you back, getting blown off and getting no where, I went to the service manger. Finally after another 2+ weeks, the part shows up and now they have my vehicle since first thing in the morning. No contact from them all day. At 5 I call and I'm told mid morning tomorrow! No one called me! I have NO CAR! I tell them I need a loaner and I'm told they don't have one! This is where I am at right now. This experience has been HORRIFIC!!
