Cute and cozy place with tons of seating! Ordering can be done at the counter or via a QR code on the table. Pricing is affordable and reasonable and the fries are delicious! We ordered the charcuterie board which was a little disappointing as it seemed like we were shorter a few things and the Luca sandwich bread was pretty tough, but overall it was a clean venue and the food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best out there. I would like to revisit for brunch or try a pastry next time. They have a lot to choose from so that was very nice!

The staff was super friendly and helpful despite being overwhelmed by a very large party while I was there. They take their time making the drink because they clearly want you to enjoy them. The Mac and cheese was some of the best I've had at a restaurant. I really enjoyed the lollipop chicken. Not overcooked and sauced nicely. It seems like it could be a quiet spot for a meal and/or cocktail whenever there is not a convention in town.

Location (4 stars) This restaurant is downtown near the convention center. parking is pricy if you valet park at the hotel. Last year it was around $40. Parking in the lot across the street for $25 dollars Easter Sunday. If you use a walker, I would not recommend the parking lot across the street. Food (3 Stars) The Thanksgiving buffet is the best one. I would rate that buffet a (4). The Christmas and Easter buffet are pretty low key. There is a carving station (ham and prime rib). There is an omelet station. Dessert bar is decorative. Cheesecake was delicious. The warming station with potatoes, sausage etc. leaves much to be desired. The charcuterie station is sparse. They offer unlimited mimosas for an additional $25. Service (5 stars) Staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness (2 stars) My only complaint, I saw a tabletop being cleaned off with a rag used to clean the chairs and then under the table on the floor and on to the next tabletop. I'm just a little picky about that. Especially since folks these days go commando and wear short attire, and you know their parts are on the chair and now spread to tabletops. Wiping up the crumbs off the floor with same rag simply through me over the edge. Atmosphere (4 stars) Spacious uncrowded environment. Nice decor. Bright with large windows.

Death & Co is a bar that has been on my list to go to for a very long time. We made our reservation ahead of time, which I would highly recommend you do. I almost didn't do it, but I'm glad I did because it was limited seating still. The inside atmosphere is absolutely amazing elegant, upscale. This is the place to be. We originally sat at a lower table with a large couch and two side chairs. We had a group of six and we fit pretty comfortably. The only error we had was when the waitress was bending down to give us our first round, someone from the table behind bumped her and the tray of drinks went over. Honestly not really her fault and she was very apologetic. It did splash one of my party members, which is why they offered to comp us the drinks and we had to unfortunately move the table because of broken glass. They were fortunately able to get us into another table pretty quickly. It was close to the bar, which wasn't inherently bad. They gave us a fresh round of drinks. The food that came out was all amazing. We ended the meal with their chocolate chip cookies, which were divine. I'm pretty sure they were brown butter chocolate chip cookies because it had that excellent specific flavor you get from browning butter and baking. All in all, this place truly delivers an amazing experience. The wait staff was able to make amazing recommendations on cocktails based on what people's preferences are. The food was truly amazing. If you like good food and great drinks, I would definitely check this place out.

I sat inside this time, because I didn't get to see the spice wall last time! We got sourdough on the side too (bread fans here). The jam upgrade is incredible, highly recommend. We had a blueberry - lemon - cherry jam that was phenomenal, definitely one of the best jams I've ever had. We got a hash brown to try out some of the hot sauces and it's the perfect vehicle for that. I thought the tuna melt was quite good, surprisingly strong tuna and crispy bread. The Omelette Asperges and Champignons was nice, but quite light. Wouldn't recommend for an appetite. Great service. Still paid via inKind with no issues.

Ended up going on a Friday around 11 AM instead. It was still packed, but we were only 4th on the waitlist and got in very quickly! Sooo definitely keep that in mind if you're planning a weekend visit. The crispy hash browns tasted like they'd already been sitting out for a while, so they weren't as crunchy/flaky as I typically like them. The animal sauce was good though! The huevos rancheros rendition was alright ... definitely spicy, but it only came with all of like 8 chips total, which was disappointing lol. There was also a tortilla in the middle, which I wasn't expecting / was soggy. The pork was drowned in so much green chili that you couldn't really taste the pork itself. Overall, it was just an okay meal. Surprisingly, my favorite part was actually the quality of the coffee they used for the Americano! Service was solid. Ambiance is real cute! Outdoor seating too is a vibe. Very Clean bathrooms. Overall, it just didn't do it for me, and I probably won't be back honestly.
