The Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara And The Chicken Tortolloni Alfredo.

As far as major brand restaurants go, the Altoona Olive Garden has never disappointed. The server we had was super charming, the food was delicious, and the portion was big enough to have some leftovers for later in the night. The decor and theming is always a fun touch as well.

Ive been here in the past, but this time was pretty successful. I typically do not eat at chain restaurants. Really, its hard for me to eat at a place more than twice, at all. We were seated within ten minutes. Bread and water was brought instantly. We tried to Peach Sangria which was so good. If I was brought that any sooner, I would have had time for 2. Court ordered the Lasagna Frit -- app. Ive never been so excited. It was really good and apparently I have missed out for some time. Salad and more breadsticks were brought out quickly. I couldn't decide what to order, so I did the make your own pasta dish. Although I regret my choice, I still think it should've at least tasted better. The dish literally came with 5 strips of chicken. The entire experience was really great. The waitress was so extremely nice. I cant remember her name but it was a common name, but spelled very differently. She was the best waitress I've come across in a long time. It is neat that you can pay from the apparatus on the table. We got in and out and our bellies filled in about an hour. My grandma lives for this place, so I know I will be back regardless.

Our dinner runneth over. Thank you, Judy!

Judy Munoz server at Olive Garden is so fantastic, she's all the reason you need to choose this restaurant. Outstanding service. Superior timing. Delicious food. Highly recommended.

The Olive Garden has been a steady stop for us as a family over the years. It's had its ups and downs, but has come thru this pandemic strongly, happy to say.

    Altoona...Olive Garden...Oh yea.

We went to Finelli's Italian Villa last Friday so my family could experience Finelli's like I did…read moretwo years ago, and I'm so glad we did. It's a small spot tucked right in the middle of the block off 17th Street in Altoona. Don't let the location fool you--it's worth every bit of the drive. My wife, our three teens, and a longtime friend joined me for dinner. We started with the drunken mushrooms as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a big mushroom guy, these were absolutely phenomenal--packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chef's special tomatoes and mozzarella in a balsamic vinaigrette, which was fresh and delicious. Everyone ordered different entrees, including a crab cake, encrusted chicken with vegetables, and shrimp Alfredo. Every single dish was outstanding. My crab cake was one of the best I've ever had--loaded with crab and seasoned just right. Nothing was heavy or overly sauced; it all tasted fresh and high-quality. To top it off, they brought out a dessert tray with multiple made-fresh options. My wife also had a freshly made cappuccino that she really enjoyed. The wait staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly the whole night. Amigh even stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having a great evening. If you're craving a really solid, high-quality Italian meal without any fuss, do yourself a favor and check out Finelli's Italian Villa. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Crust was thin, light and airy - not doughy, perfect texture. Sauce was very robust. Perfect amount of grease to keep it from being bland w/o being overwhelming. Service was very good and it's a cute space inside. Hubs tried the coffee soda which wasn't personally to my taste, but he enjoyed it. If we'd been hungrier they had some desserts that looked good. We got a pizza steak sub, ham and cheese sub, chicken bacon wrap, and I personally tried the buffalo chicken wrap. (One of my favorite lunches!) I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients! Everything tasted fresh and the subs had homemade bread! Everyone really enjoyed their various sandwiches, and I especially enjoyed my wrap! It had quite a nice spicy kick! And a good ratio of chicken to sauce. I also enjoyed the additional veggies which added that perfect hint of crunch and freshness! Went to pick up our order and got a chance to look inside the restaurant. It was a really nice spot! I wasn't in there for very long but from what I could see it was clean and well taken care of. Unfortunately as I was picking up my order I lost something in the parking lot and didn't realize it until about two hours later. When I called and asked they were super kind and helpful about it and I was able to go and pick it up. The employees were super helpful and kind in this situation! This would definitely be nice place to go with family or friends or even to pick of a to go lunch for work. Nice place overall!

This cozy, candlelit little spot is literally in a cellar--and it oozes charm. Pro tip: they're only open a few days a week, so call or shoot them a Facebook message to make sure you're on the list! Now the food... We started with the Drunken Mushrooms, and let me tell you, they were earthy, wine-kissed perfection. I skipped the garlic bread and just went full fork-to-fungus. No regrets. Next up: the homemade gnocchi with a meatball. Loved the meatball--meaty and not weighed down by breadcrumbs. The gnocchi was a little denser (which I like!), and it all just felt lovingly made. The Baked Haddock was fresh, light, and bathed in a lemon-wine sauce that made me want to go in for seconds... if I wasn't already full. But dessert called. We split the coconut cake, and it was gorgeous. Light, fluffy, with just a whisper of anise (which isn't my fave, but my mom was over the moon about it). This place feels like a secret passed from friend to friend--and now I'm passing it to you.
