Tricky parking , some times there is a decent wait. Good food and I've always had good service.

Seating was quick, service however could have been better. Had the bartender serve us and she acted like she hated her life/job and that we were the biggest inconvenience to her day. Food was a little less like any other Olive Garden. Could have had a bit more Alfredo sauce since the noodles were really dry. And the bread sticks were pretty chewy like they had been sitting all day. Ambiance was just ok, wished they didn't seat everyone in the same area when the restaurant was mostly empty. read more

It wasn't very busy so we were seated right away. It was a table with 5 chairs and plenty of space for all including food and drinks. Our server was very nice and pretty much stayed on top of things. One thing that made me very happy and may sound weird but, the ice water was really good and had a fresh taste. Every OG we have been to in Florida, the water tastes horrible yet, at other restaurants the water is good so we thought it was all OG locations. The drinks were good, the soup, salad and breadsticks were good, as always. The calamari and shrimp apps were delicious and my 4 yr old granddaughter loved her pizza. I think it is very rude that they take the order before all of the party is there. They must be trying to turn tables fast. For the type of dining it is supposed to be, it was very noisy. The table was so dark I couldn't read the menu. I would comment on the food, but I didn't get any. I don't plan on returning. read more

Not a good experience at this Olive Garden. Spent the majority of the visit waiting. Waiting 35 minutes to enter a mostly empty restaurant serving only a few tables. Waiting a half hour for appetizers, waiting an hour for our meal. Worst of all, it was obvious our food had been sitting for an extended time when we received it. The pasta had turned sticky and brown looking, the sauce was cold and congealed looking. Sad for a brand new restaurant. Won't be returning. read more

We typically have a great experience at this olive garden but last night! Last night was the absolute worst!!!!! Autumn was our waitress and you could definitely tell she did NOT want to be there. We're definitely forgotten. On to food. Salad was good. We got the spinach artichoke dip!! Did the title have broccoli in it anywhere! No it didn't. Had broccoli all in it. I got the chicken gnocchi soup it was ok. Also got the fried lasagna asked for marinara sauce instead of meat sauce. Came out with meet. Made waitresses aware. She took it back scrapped off the meat sauce and dumped marinara on it. Now I'm pissed. Pointed it out and she took it back. Now I've received it again this time same stuff different plate. They have flipped it over and covered it with marinara. I took it home to my dogs and didn't eat it. Hubs got steak rare. Came out super done and with an already used steak knife. Needless to say dogs got that too. Super disappointed. You could hear staff laughing extremely loud and making fun of customers. There was one older waitress there. She seemed to be the ONLY one working!!! The waitress we typically request was not there that night. This time the waitresses and the kitchen was a terrible problem. Parking lot was almost empty on a Friday night!!!! Waitress nor manager offered any apologies or anything. Just shrugged their shoulders and said "Oh Well". Absolutely ridiculous! read more

First Visit at Olive Garden in Aiken For real, I'm so very glad that they finally put an Olive Garden in Aiken. I came here for lunch a previous Sunday and I'm was VERY glad to ordered pickup as it was VERY VERY PACKED. But I couldn't complain about it whatsoever. The service and ambiance were exactly and the food was just as excellent. Next time I come here I'll be bringing my boyfriend here for our date. Word of advice: If you do choose to come to Olive Garden, make sure to get there early for great seating. Otherwise you'll be waiting awhile. read more

My wife and I are traveling on business so we decided to stop at the Olive Garden. Service was slow and the food was adequate. What really concerns me about the Aiken South Carolina area is all of the restaurants we've been in have been basically horrible. Service is fair at best . Food is just OK. I really don't know what's going on in the area, but I can tell you based on what I'm seeing. It looks like they've overgrown the area and never thought about having enough people to work. As always, my test of a restaurant is will I go back? Well not to this Olive Garden. But I will always try others because most of the time they're not bad. read more

Went today with friends after church. I ordered shrimp scampi but got shrimp carbonate. A happy accident as it was delicious. The one sad part was after leaving their was a homeless woman crying on the front bench asking for $20 so she could get gas and see her kids for Easter. We gave her the $20 plus all our leftover food. I wonder if anyone else saw her and did she get to see her children read more

Waitress both times I visited hover over the table during payment. If you take the tip down from 20% for wrong drinks, wilted salad that tastes like oil, no smile, or the dirty floor. Whatever the reason. Waitress said; it's already at the appropriate tip. I couldn't get rid her during payment time. Anyway, we won't be back. I found this rude. This has got to be the worst experience my wife and I have ever experienced. Our meal took well over an hour. The restaurant was not that busy for the delay. When we finally received our meal my dish looked liked it was days old. The pasta was hard and cold. I asked the server, who was wonderful, to have the manage come to our table. A floor manager came to talk to us but she was really not the one who could make a decision on our meal. After another 30ish minutes I saw the store manager talking with a few other servers. All women. You can tell this was not restaurant busines. They were all laughing and messing around. When he finally came to the table i called him out about him just standing around talking with his servers. Which he tried to tell me it was restaurant busines. Total BS. I can go on but I'm sure I've made my point. He did take my pasta off the bill and gave us cheesecake to take home. I still found this unacceptable for the service and BS the manager gave us. I personally will never eat here again. Which sucks because my wife and I love Olive Garden. We did tip our server very well because she did the best she could do under these circumstance. read more

I went for lunch recently, and it was not good at all. The service was fair. Not good. The food was terrible. I ordered eggplant parm and it was soggy and cold. The eggplant was covered in cold sauce. Last time I got it, it was crispy. And they didn't put the sauce on top. All our dishes had this huge glob of cold cheese on top. It was easy enough to scrape off the food. Olive Garden has been better. They can do better. They weren't busy. I wonder if food has been bad for a while. Should not have been cold. The new restaurant in Aiken is off to a great start. We had a warm welcome in the front and explanation of the menu and take home meals at the table. Very friendly staff. We arrived at lunch on a Saturday and lucked on beating the crowds, so the restaurant was not noisy. We had Desiree at our table and she was awesome! Very friendly, answered any questions and checked back with us constantly. We enjoyed our meal and time there. Our youngest enjoyed his take home meal! Said it was delicious (spaghetti). I haven't been to an Olive Garden in years and I was not disappointed! Everything was top-notch and arrived quickly. We had been told it would be a 30-35 minute wait but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our waiter (I can't remember his name but he has longer curly black hair and is super friendly) was amazing and attentive and was multi-tasking the whole time to male sure everyone was happy. I was a little bummed that they were out of chicken marsala but the chicken margherita was a perfect substitute. I will be back for my marsala, though. read more

We visited Olive Garden for a late lunch and was totally disappointed with the food and service. We ordered soup salad and breadsticks. Olive Gardens specialty???? We never saw the server again after our food was brought to us. The soup was not hot, the bread sticks had been laying under a heat lamp too long, and the salad was something less than fresh. Poor service? Try NO service! The restaurant was almost empty. We were immediately met and shown to a bar table. My wife requested a booth not in the bar and we were seated. I need to break this down into sections: Hygiene: -in the men's room, while washing my hands, an employee stepped out of the stall and walked right past me, out the door. No attempt at hand washing. Timing -our soup and salad arrived, along with one of the Alfredo dipping sauces. No breadsticks. Just the dipping sauce. -soups were good and salad was a salad -our appetizer came out, the Alfredo sauce got colder -I was getting another soup refill and my entree arrived. 2 of the 4 entrees arrived. -were told the breadsticks were being mg fought for in the back. -appetizer was the shrimp and veggie and it was actually very tasty and hot. Fresh is good. Food quality: -my penne/rigatoni was gummy (entirely too over cooked). I didn't eat but 2 pieces of rigatoni to check if it was just the one piece. It wasn't. Had spouse check and she confined gummy pasta -mushroom sauce was good -spouse had chicken and she said it was good -soups were good -salad was typical Cost -for 4 of us, 2 dipping sauces, where one got really cold and the other showed at the end of our lunch, was over $100. The other two in our party only had soup and salad. Not doing this again. Staff -our waitress tried to be accommodating and for the most part was, but was slow to return to the table at times. -hygiene previously mentioned -staff hanging out in the dining area chatting while the dishwasher clears tables Cleanliness -this OG opened less than a month previously. It was new. Not sure how long it'll remain like that given the experience on Saturday. -never spotted a manager or assistant manager/front of the house manager, until we were leaving. -attention to detail needed on uniform conformity and appearance. Pre-service checks should've been accomplished. Overall, I would've given 1 star but the appetizer was good, the soup was good and our server was trying. I would caution others to try this place unless training of staff, to include managers, is a desperate need. At an Olive Garden the pasta of all things should be cooked perfectly. No manager did a walk by or ask us how our meal was. I would've told them, not for a free meal, but in the hopes they'll actually take action to make this restaurant a success. We were told to have a nice day by someone who looked like a supervisor on some level (FOH) but she never identified herself and we were walking out the door. read more

This was my second visit to the new Olive Garden in Aiken. The servers were polite and friendly, though still a little scattered, but I think with experience, they will improve. Both visits, my meals were delicious. Always love the salad as well. The on the table, checkout system was a problem. We had a table of six with five separate checks. Four people used the computer system. Two of those bills were wrong when they were processed. It took several minutes to get that straightened out. I paid cash, and it took forever to get my change back. In fact, they didn't break up the change enough for me to leave a reasonable tip. As a result I over tipped, because of not having smaller bills. They weren't prepared to have cash customers, nor does their computer system work in an understandable way to insure you are paying for the right check. We came about 2pm for the lunch special - first time here. Woman at the front entered my name, told us to be seated and basically forgot about us. She passed off iPad to another person who also ignored us. After 10 minutes I asked her if we'd been forgotten and she said they had to clean tables. I get it - it was fairly busy and we are happy to wait as long as they acknowledge the wait. We certainly had time to observe - the desk phone rang and another woman looked annoyed as she stood up and answered. I realize it is busy and staffing is a challenge, but it wasn't a good look. One positive observation; our server Amanda was wonderful - personable, efficient and a joy to talk to - she made up for the initial "attitude" at the front. No complaints on the food; served in a timely manner and very fresh. We will return - and hopefully will be welcomed next time. read more

I realize everyone around were pretty excited about this opening. I AM NOT that hungry. LONG lines. My pal went inside, found two seats at the bar and we sat down. He ordered a bowl of soup and tea. $15 for his soup/tea. I asked for Calamari and water. Never got the food. 30 minutes later I asked the bartender for the bill and asked her to remove the food. She couldn't do it - a guess it was the manager who came out. They were not rude at all. BUT I won't go back. You think at least the bartender, who took the order, might have asked during that time if we needed anything etc. read more

We ordered the soup and salad and the food was good. Our server Amanda was prompt and friendly. Now that being said 3 of the plates she brought out were not clean. The hostess that was setting up a table next to us dropped one set of the utensils on the floor and picked it up and placed it on the table. There was food on the floor under the table she was preparing to seat people at which was not cleaned up. These things are very concerning. The staff need better training in cleanliness before someone gets sick. I won't be returning anytime soon. read more

first time... live in the neighborhood... it will be the last time. we waited for over 10 minutes in the foyer and even though five servers walked by us and just stared. no one said hello... acknowledged us being there or offered assurances that someone would be with us soon. it wasnt even busy.
