I stopped by Olive Garden recently for a comforting Italian dinner, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I must say we had about given up on Olive Garden. While in Branson we decided to give it one more chance. I must say that this was the best Olive Garden we have ever stopped at. The food was spot on and arrived piping hot. Our server even though it was very busy was very attentive. Special occasion ruined. Ordered the Calabrian Bucatini but I received the kitchen pasta dump bucket of 4 different over cooked pastas, not one shred of bucatini. The cook knew and the server knew that they were serving the slop left over from the boil. The server admitted he knew that it wasn't bucatini and what I ordered but gave it to me anyway. So dishonest. Why? You should be fired. read more

The service was terrible, our waitress was slow and could have cared less. 3 of our 5 meals showed up dried out and cold. I asked for a napkins and drink refilled numerous times, when the manager finally came over there was no sense of urgency to correct the issues. Currently we are still waiting on the 3 meals to be corrected. Finally had to get a napkin for ourselves. Most disappointing meal. read more

A few months ago I got the worst food poisoning of my life from here. For one I know it was here cause I didn't eat anything 24hours prior to having this meal. And for me to send back my steak and asked for it to be cooked more and come back same or more pink. Is outrageous I should have just left. I was sick as a dog for THREE WEEKS. I tried to make an insurance claim with them. For a long time to go by I just called the insurance for an update and they said sorry can't help you. I hope everyone reads this and makes a wise choice to go somewhere else. read more

My wife and I came here for a date night dinner. She ordered tortellini with chickens and I ordered the shrimp carbonara, with no red peppers, we both had iced tea. We had to ask for refills and only got two and never got any ice in our refills. Dinner came and my wife's was fine. She asked me if I would like cheese on my shrimp scampi. I said I ordered shrimp carbonara. She said are you sure it's not shrimp scampi. Yep, I'm sure. I saw the shrimp scampi on the tray and it looked like it had red peppers in it which was weird. She said she would get it corrected for me. My wife finished her meal and along came my shrimp carbonara. It was drenched in a heavy cream sauce, you couldn't even tell there were shrimp in there under all that sauce. About that time the lady sitting next to me, had her meal delivered and she ordered shrimp carbonara as well. He meal looked perfect. Light sauce, you could actually see the shrimp. My meal was almost inedible due to the amount of heavy sauce. When the waitress did comeback she asked if we needed boxes. I had to ask for drink refills. When she refilled out iced tea's my wife's got no ice and I had to ask if she could get some ice in mine. I got a couple of cubes. Service and food was terrible. We are regulars and won't be back for a long time after this experience. We couldn't even find anybody to ask for a manager.... Very disheartening. read more

I have eaten at Olive Garden in Branson MO many times over the years and quality has definitely decreased while prices increased. Zuppa tuscana was my favorite in the past, but unrecognizable now. Well, we only even went to this place because we were so disappointed by the local restaurants that week that we thought we would try a place that we're used to from home, hoping that the food would be decent, but we were disappointed. The service was excellent. I will say that. Our server was wonderful. He was Johnny on the spot when we needed him for the most part. The food however, was still your typical Italian fast food disappointment. The sauce was coagulated on the pasta when it was brought out. There wasn't even enough sauce in the pasta to cover all of the noodles. I made the mistake of getting bruschetta chicken with broccoli and adding pasta on the side. The broccoli was actually really good with the Parmesan and sauce, but the chicken itself was absolutely disgusting. It was frozen chicken breast with rib meat, warmed up with bruschetta toppings. It was atrocious. I would be embarrassed to serve this kind of meat if it were my restaurant. We won't be back unless we come for the soup, salad and breadsticks alone. That's really the only thing Olive Garden ever gets right consistently. We also like the unlimited sauce option they now have, but when they bring it out, it's never enough for multiple people, so we have to keep asking for more. The waiter came over several times to refill drinks, ask if we needed more salad and bread, and saw if we needed anything else. Let me start out saying that our waitress was great. The food, however, was not so great. It wasn't particularly bad but it wasn't the quality I'm used to from OG either. My order came out wrong and while our waitress was apologetic and had it corrected (and in no way was the error her fault) it was still a slight annoyance. The big thing is that it is a chain restaurant and in Branson, the chain restaurants are not dependable. Not just OG, but pretty much all major chains in the town. The entrees were delicious; my friend and I had a shrimp scampi and a shrimp Alfredo. The service was prompt and friendly. The strawberry lemonade was refillable and though weak the first tube, it was deliciously berry flavored on the refill. I'm writing this to let the management know that the hostess opened the door as she saw us arriving, sat us promptly with a pleasant manner, and that we were also pleased with our server, who was professional and checked back with us--- twice. Everything was great. We were not pleased with the prices, which were over $20 for noodles. Yes, I understand that food costs have gone up, and that shrimp can be costly. But even the chicken fishes were $18-21. A 6 oz steak with fettuccini was only $18. Yes they cone with salad. That's the biggest draw. The desserts were $9 and up. OUCH. We will be back, but at those prices, sadly, probably only a couple times a year. Tip: go after 1pm or before 5pm for stellar service! Before 3pm for lunch prices. read more

We were in the mood for salads and breadsticks from Olive Garden. We stopped in for dinner on 4.4.25 and this will probably be a one and done. Our diet cokes were flat. Absolutely no fizz at all. Not to be deterred we ordered on. Salad and breadsticks came and did not disappoint. The salad was fresh and the breadsticks were hot. That's a good sign. Along came the entrees and I was disappointed. I ordered the baked ziti and it was like it came from the microwave. The sauce was a strange color and did not cover the pasta. It was eh in taste. My husband ordered a shrimp dish with onions and peppers. There was lots of shrimp he said but again the taste was nothing special, just eh. The restaurant itself looks like it's had its better days. This is the first negative review online ever BUT I have a very serious form of Alpha Gal Allergy to Beef and Pork and am concerned of others with this allergy eating out also. Olive Garden is my go to place when traveling. The Olive Garden in Branson. Mo REFUSED to accommodate for my allergy. I can only eat the Minestrome Soup as an entree. I explained the allergy and told them that I only had one allergic reaction at a local Olive Garden back home. The manager at that Olive Garden back home in Arkansas is very thoughtful and said the minestrone soup is next to a soup that looks like it other than the other one has meat. She went on further to tell me that maybe when filling the other soup into a bowel some dripped into the minestrone soup or the same ladle was used that cross contaminated it. She suggested that they take some fresh out of the fridge and heat it up . I told her I would appreciate that because it was all you can eat soup. The other Olive Gardens also do the same thing for me EXCEPT the one in BRANSON . I was told by the waiter that spoke with the manager.... "we will do one bowel but after that it will be taken out of the main pot and you can eat more at your own risk. We will NOT heat up any more special for you from the fridge." and also he was very rude with his actions and while he was telling me that it made me feel humiliated and like I had done something wrong because of an allergy from a tick bite that I didn't ask for. Our visit to Branson included a trip to Olive Garden for dinner. Sometimes a chain restaurant is good to go to because you know what type of food they have. There was open seating in the bar area so we chose a table there. Water and menus were brought right away. Soup or salad comes with your entree and we both chose soup. He got the zuppo Tuscano and I got the pasta e fagioli. A large portion and both soups were good. (I'm sure these come out of a large Olive Garden can.). For our entrees, he chose the braised beef and tortellini and I got the herb grilled salmon. His tortellini was good but he said he would get something different next time. My salmon was perfect and came with a side of brocolli. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Dessert? Yes, I would love some tiramisu. This has to be the most popular dessert in an Italian restaurant. Our server came back to inform us that the tiramisu was still frozen solid and they were unable to serve it. Sometimes I don't know who keeps an eye on these things but they should be fired. You don't see that the tiramisu is getting low and pull out another one. Shame on you. No, I don't want a different dessert. Would I come back here? If I'm ever in Branson, I guess so. But I'm calling ahead to tell them to get the tiramisu out of the freezer. read more
