This is an independently owned Schlotzsky's and the care and pride they take in this deli is very evident! It is located right on the strip in Branson. It has a very inviting outdoor eating area with outdoor cafe lights that makes a nice ambiance. When you step inside, it is very clean and organized. The decor is so cool. I love reading all the funny signs! There is even a bar that has charging stations. To talk about the food, we have to start with the bread! The bread is a toasted sourdough that is baked and crispy. It is so delicious! The original is probably my favorite or the French dip with aujus. They have these new calzones that are huge and are the bread folded over into a sandwich. I had the French dip calzone and could only finish half. My husband and I could have shared it. It was so good! My husband got the bacon, Smokey cheesy sandwich. It's roast beef, cheddar and bacon. All of the sandwiches and salads I have tried are delicious! They have a free bar that has pickles, banana peppers, and jalapeños for toppings. It also has herbs and spices you can also use. The drink stations are nice also. The sweet tea always tastes freshly brewed. The owner talks with us each time we've come in. They are all so friendly and nice and come by to check if you need anything's and everything is tasting good. The bathrooms are clean, individual, big rooms. Stopped in to get a sandwich on my way to work. Been 35 years since I was last in a Schlotzsky's. I ordered one sandwich and one large Diet Coke. Damn near had a heart attack when it cost me $31 for one sandwich and a drink. The sandwich was great, but not $31 great. Beware, this is not a cheap place to get a sandwich. read more

When you walk in your cannot help but being drawn to the counter by the fragrance of cinnamon rolls. The Austin Eatery brand of Schlotzsky's introduces more menu items than other branches of the franchise and because of this it is very hard to focus on just what it is that sounds better the sweets or the eats. I had the Pick 2 which is any 2 items at half size. I selected an Original (always a personal favorite) and soup (always good on a cold night). Within only about 5 minutes of waiting the food was delivered to my table with 1/2 sandwich and a small soup, the perfect size for me. The two staff I interacted with were friendly and followed up not only at the register but also table side, which is the best customer service I have ever had at a Schlotzsky's. The only thing I could see that threw me off was the Raspberry tea was unsweetened and not labeled as such.. not by any means a deal breaker to my positive experience. read more

Pass on this place. Possibly better if not during the pandemic. We ordered Cobb salads that were not even close to "as advertised". Small and lacking ingredients. Went here this evening and picked up a couple sandwiches and they had a special buy 1 get 1 free cinnamon rolls, We placed our order in person and the lady stated that you only got Cinnabon cinnamon rolls downtown. Well she was stressed and busy so I said ok and we sat down and waited. while we're waiting for our food I looked at the app and sure enough you could buy One cinnamon roll get 1 free on the app. So rather than bother her and a cinnamon roll sounded kind of good I just ordered 2 of them off the app even left a tip. The promotion enough took the price of one roll off but it was still almost $7 with a tip and tax. Sure enough she brought one cinnamon roll. I just stated that I ordered two and without much fuss she went and got another one. On the way out the door though she grumpily said enjoy your cinnamon roll. My daughter who was with me said the whole restaurant looked at us and I said don't worry about it we didn't really do anything wrong she's just having a bad night.
