Crying kids in the bar section seems pretty low etiquette even for Olive Garden, but the food is always good

sat immediately around 730pm which was surprisingly nice considering it was quite busy on arrival, i think joining the waitlist on the trip there from home helped with that. shelia was my server she was super friendly and got my order right away, got the soup salad breadsticks with alfredo for dipping with a coke to drink. was seated center table in a quite busy area and it was filled with people talking and had trouble hearing my date seated directly across from me. salad was a bit overpowered with onions, soup (minestrone) was quite good, and breadsticks were fresh and alfredo creamy. i would've given it a higher rating however it was just a bit loud and felt crowded, the food was good but not great. read more

This is my favorite location there always friendly and clean.i enjoy the chicken Alfredo and of course can't go wrong with there salad and bread sticks I did a to go order this evening they didn't forget anything and did it in a timely manner. read more

Service: 4/5 We are here for lunch on a weekday day, so it's pretty quiet. Our waitress was very attentive with drink and bread stick refills. She even hooked us up with a pack of breadsticks to go. The general manager came out to check on the tables, which was a nice touch. Atmosphere: 4/5 I mean, it looks like all other olive gardens. Went here for valentines day with my fiance yesterday (02/14/2026) and was severely disappointed. The manager was very nice and we were seated quickly and the food was pretty good but our waitress was very stingy when it came to service. After waiting for 15 minutes for her to come take our drink orders we also placed our meal order because we knew it was a busy day and didn't want to wait an hour+ for our main course. We ordered the endless salad and breadsticks combo too as well as a side of ranch. We only got a half salad and 3 breadsticks which were gone within 5 minutes and when she finally came back after 20 minutes we asked for more as well as refills on our drinks as we were both empty. She never brought us our refill for our salad or breadsticks and it took her another 20 minutes to bring us a refill of drinks. Another waitress ended up bringing us our main course. When we were done with our main course I still wanted breadsticks as I was still hungry and I wanted my side order of ranch I had placed when we originally got there. She ended up putting TWO breadsticks in a to go bag for us instead of bringing us another refill of them and instead of bringing me a to-go drink that I asked for, she brought me an empty cup to pour my half drank lemonade into. She wasn't very talkative and honestly gave off a rude vibe and ruined my and my partners valentines day dinner. Spent $60. I didn't say anything as I knew they were busy and didn't want to cause an uproar (I also didn't want anyone to spit in my food) but this was very disappointing. Usually I wouldn't say anything about this but it rubbed my the wrong way and I'm also pregnant and when I'm hungry I am hungry:/ I do not know the waitresses name but she had sparkles all over her face as well as multiple piercings. As we approached the exterior was unusually trashy. Once inside, there was quite a bit of paper debris that needed to be swept The hostess was quick to explain how we could play games for $1.99 per game. We came to talk, so she was not pleased, and did remove the "game box". Much busier than usual. Although a short wait to be seated, a longer wait for our server, and our food.... the unlimited soup and salad. After our wait the food was as delish. Much better service today! read more

My parents are restaurant chain lovers and Olive Garden is one of their favorites. We were all on our way to the nearby IKEA and stopped by for dinner on a Saturday. There was a 30 minute wait to be seated, but at least they gave us the old school paging mechanism. I ordered the "build you own pasta". For $9.99 you can choose your pasta (angel hair was my choice) and sauce. It's an extra cost to upgrade to certain sauces, for example, it was an extra $2.49 for alfredo sauce. I always thought alfredo sauce to be rather standard an easy to make, so I think $2.49 is a bit of a price gouge. I went with the creamy mushroom and I'm glad that I did, it was phenomenal. My meal was an easy five stars. Dad ordered a limited time specialty cheesy seafood concoction and he wasn't impressed, he said that it wasn't cheesy at all, made with something more of a cheese sauce so thin that it sank to the bottom. I was grateful that they allowed my mom to order from the kids menu, because the size of the portion is perfect for her, after her recent surgery. What I did notice though, was that they charged a $1 more than what the electronic menu pad indicated. Service was slow, but I guess that was to be expected since they were on a wait. read more

We have been coming here since we won the coveted pasta passes several years ago. We got to know everyone well, as we were literally there probably 30 times in 6 weeks. To this day, the manager still greets us, and they retained some staff through covid that still know our name when we come in. Sometimes we bring my aunt, who is not an easy customer. She always needs extra of everything, and is very particular with her food. They are always so patient and kind with her. We ate here over the weekend, and Hannah was especially exceptional. Very attentive, and gave her all the time she needed, even though she had several tables. The food was excellent, as always, salad and breadsticks and the "tour of italy" gave me enough food to have 3 meals. Our favorite place in the Colerain area. read more

I haven't been in years but had some friends that wanted to meet there. The menu has barely changed but that probably works out well for them since the same people have probably been going there for decades. What has changed are the prices. And while I understand prices must go up over time, I've always felt they were overpriced for simple pastas and that has gotten severely worse. I had the mushroom ravioli and it good. So let me start by saying, if it were not for Olivia and Monet, I would not be returning to Olive Garden. I had already had a poor experience at another location so gave a different one a try. I was seated quickly when I arrived. Thats were things ended. A young woman came and said the name of the server and she's be there shortly. She got drinks then there was a wait. Then Emily came which was not the name that was previously stated. Everything was placed at once (appetizers, meal, additional drinks and a to go order). So there was a long wait just for soup and salad. Another couple had sat down to the right long after and had received drinks, salad, and meal prior to the salad coming out. Then I asked about the appetizers. The manager, Janie, came over and I expressed my concern. She went to check on things and nothing She was gone. Finally, Olivia the server we were suppose to have asked if we needed help as she saw us still sitting there. I shared that I had spoke with the manager. She went to follow up. Then Monet came. She also saw we had been sitting. She bagged our food which we didn't get to enjoy in the restaurant. They both checked on us. Then the server, Emily, came with the to go order and the check. Olivia and Monet both suggested that the manager do something due to the experience. Janie finally returned. So what was ordered? Two dips, spinach and chicken. The chicken was just chucks not really a dip. Chicken marsala which was eaten at home but good. Took salad and breadsticks home a well due to length of the wait. I had no problems with the food. I did the curb side pick up, when I ordered they asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Of course I did $10, I got the chicken Alfredo. When I got home the chicken tasted like Rubber!! I was terrible. We visited the Colerain location today and was seated in the back of the restaurant. We waited for a server to stop by and no one came. We went back to the front of the restaurant to find out what was going on and still no one came by. We decided to leave and mentioned to the staff who never apologized. We will never return. And just that quick Olive Garden has slipped back to there old ways. I went here a couple weeks ago and until they bring back some of there better dishes? It was my last. for years the only reason I came here was for the Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo.. well they got rid of that and replaced it with Shredded beef Gorgonzola Alfredo.. and as of last month they no longer have that either.. I mean come on? It was on the menu forever so it must of been selling? well after talking to a manager they told me Olive Garden is cutting more corners than ever. they did away with the dish because it's time consuming.. they did away with the gorgonzola because it was a pricer cheese. so why are you even sending your so called "chefs" over to Italy to learn recipes if you are only going to have them come back here to cut corners? I've heard that this is just the beginning and the quality of the food is just going to get worse. By the way I made a post about the breadsticks in my last review.. well.. I don't think the girl that makes them is working here much anymore so expect the same old same old. I would stay away, we literally had bugs (plural) flying around our face and food. Makes us question the condition of the kitchen. I killed three of the bugs and showed them to the manager on duty who acknowledge that he was seeing them too. The waiter was awful - By the time he gave me a steak knife for my steak & fettuccine, the steak was cold - he knew this and simply did not care. I ended up eating 2 bites of my meal. I requested a glass of water and he never bought it, when I told him again 15 minutes later and noted I was thirsty he said he forgot and would get it for me know. I watched him carry the drink to 2 other tables to conduct business before I was given a drink. Based on the fact that there were bugs flying around and landing on our plates and the terrible waiter - we will not be back! read more

I'm leaving this just for the manager Cora. The rest of the staff and food are really trying. Cora on the other hand is rude and thinks it's her place to tell customers how to act. She had a righteous indignant attitude when I called her about forgetting a dinner on a large order. After hanging up on me 3 times she again had attitude when I came back to the restaurant. She talks over people and has to be "right." She also has no concept of controlling the crowd/ situation. Unbelievable that she is in management. read more

We love our Olive Garden at Stone Creek. Always attentive servers. Menu with buy one, take one homd, half price beer and wine while you wait. Only downer is dining room is extremely noisy. Well i actually like the Olive Garden just not this one. First off we went there on a Wednesday and it was packed, no problem we'll wait. So i checked us in with the hostess, party of five and requested a booth, i was tild no problem about a 20 minute wait and we (my family) sat down with others to await our seating. 45 minutes later we're still waiting when a family comes in and they know the hostess and they talk and laugh and the hostess takes them to a booth and seats them. Finally we are called and this same hostess takes us to a table in the middle of the room to seat us, umm no. So i reminded her we had asked for a booth and she said "well ain't none available so you have to sit here" to which i said "no we don't" and she said "then you have to wait a half hour." Well me being me i said, in an upset tone, "we have waited nearly an hour and your friends came in and you seated them in an open booth in front of us and other families that have been waiting for a really long time, and you think I'm going to wait another 30 minutes?" She replied, "you can sit here or wait or go elsewhere." So with that i took my family to Logan's Steakhouse next door and we had a nice dinner. I will not put up with waiting for an extended period only to be passed over by a hostesses friends, taljed to like that when I'm your patron and about to spend money there. It was wrong and when we left a couple other families and a couple left also. We will no longer give business to this Olive Garden, if any, as there are actually better Italian restaurants out there. read more

I'm not of huge fan of Olive Garden, but my mom wanted to come here for lunch so this is where we came. We were seated right away, but sat at our table for about 10 minutes and nobody came over. I finally went back to the hostess and told her that nobody had been to our table yet. She apologized and came over and took our drink order. At that time, our server finally walked by (on her way to another table) and said she'd be back. I understand that our server may have been busy, but she could have stopped by at some point during those 10 minutes to at least acknowledge us. I ordered the Chicken Margherita and it was very tasty. The chicken was cooked great and the zucchini it came with was good. The salad and breadsticks were just ok. The food was better than expected, but the service was poor and doesn't make me want to come back anytime soon. read more

Every few years I give Olive Garden a try. Every few years I am sadly disappointed. Everything tasted per packaged and processed. The salad is bagged. I think the bread sticks are frozen. I got the Never Ending Pasta Bowl. I tried several combinations in hopes of something good. All the pasta was over cooked, giving the noodles that slightly mushy texture. The Alfredo sauce had little flavor. I think it was called 4 cheese marinara, it had flavor but the sauce was broken/ separated. The only good things were the Andes mint at the end of the meal, and our waitress. I ended up with heartburn, and a terrible stomach ache that night. I had been eating the same things as the others in my household, except this meal. read more

I will qualify this review by saying that it takes a lot for a chain restaurant to get a 5-star out of me. Just trying to be clear and fair up front. I've had food from this Olive Garden a few times. I have never had a problem with the food. It's hard to screw up chain food, especially when it's something like the Tour of Italy. I am pretty sure that those 3 dishes are about as routine as it gets. What really detracts from this Olive Garden is that it always seems to be slow. If you call in a take-out order, it takes longer than almost any other restaurant. If you go to eat in, even on a week day, you may have a 30-45 minute wait. I just do not get the slowness. I also do not understand why it is always packed with it being so slow - it's chain after all. read more

This is the 3rd time in a row that something has been wrong with our order. Today they totally forgot my dinner manager Cheryl Thomas was very rude like it was our fault they had even put someone entire order in our car realizing it was wrong order. They did not put a receipt on our bag luckily my daughter placed on line and of course she also blamed us for them not putting a receipt on our bag so instead of eating Olive Garden with my family I'm eating chicken salad thanks but they need to get their act together and ad far as the manager she definitely needs training in dealing with customer issues read more

For the most part, Olive Garden is as Olive Garden does. You don't go to Olive Garden for five-star, totally authentic Italian fare. Even when this location was up by Northgate Mall, there were hour-long waits on busy nights. This newer location seems to have more seating, which is good. The service is pretty good, too, which is standard. Pricing has gone up in recent years, but that's to be expected with inflation, and is a corporate decision anyway. The only real complaint I have about this location may sound trivial, but it's really put me off going there. My mom and I went for lunch this past Saturday afternoon, and while I was in the restroom, a waitress (not ours, thankfully) entered a restroom stall carrying the little black book they use to bring the check. Maybe it was a one-time thing? But I certainly don't want that on my table after it's been in there. And then my credit card goes in it and comes into contact with your toilet germs? No thank you. Otherwise, I've always had great experiences here. I can't say I'll be going back anytime soon, though. Since I live in Fairfield now, I'll probably start going to the Dixie Highway location instead. read more

It's packed and waiting on a Friday night for like 45min... it's in a shopping center... a lot of the parking is in a muddy field... none of the people sitting at the bar will not engage me in conversation or idle chat... I guess I understand... so all of that gives me a 2star feeling... it feels like IHOP at 730p instead of 730a... The bartender didnt know what the house wine was... kind of annoying since the one she gave me was like $3 more per glass... but shame on me for not asking more questions I guess. For reference, the house Rosso is good and its like $5. But that being said... they are consistent like an atomic clock... you could go to an olive garden on the moon and you would get the same good meal with friendly people! And sometimes you are looking for that. our salad was awesome... they have a really good "low fat" dressing... it's too good to be healthy for you... i think my favorite is the bread sticks as hot buttery deliciousness and I had the capellini pomodoro, tomatoes, basil, garlic, marinara fresh hot and makes me happy in my tummy. Overall, its for sure a chain, super busy, parking sucks... but the food and service are consistent and quality. read more
