I want to give high praise to this location for how they catered my daughter wedding for 180 people. They we fabulous from planning , delivery and setup. When i announced OliveGarden was being served on the buffet the guest eyes lit up. Special note. We packaged all the left overs and delivered to our local homeless shelter. The service in the bar area felt a bit rushed though; it seemed like the staff was trying to keep up with a busy crowd, but it wasn't that busy... so things felt a little impersonal. Our server Corrina was outstanding. She came to table welcomed us. Told us her name and asked what we would like to drink. We order all our meal. The food we had was Chicken and Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine, we also had the Lasagna Frito both meals with salad , breadsticks and Alfredo sauce. It was delicious. Wife and I were seated around 2:00pm for a late lunch. We left after no recognition from wait staff after more than 10 mins.

The wait was suppose to be 20 minutes but it ended up being 50 minutes for a table of 5! The wait for drinks as abnormally long the bread and salad took even longer. The food, we were informed it was 1/2 way done, the next update was 2 meals are finished, so we ask that those 2 meals be brought out, that seemed to take abnormally long, instead of the 2 meals we got all but 1 meal!! We were told the remaining meal was "on the melter" we were nearly halfway thru before the 1 remaining meal arrived. We had to ask for drink refills, salad and breadwe considered dessert but wanted to end the misery!! We will not be going back. read more

My daughter and I visited Olive Garden today for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was good and the restaurant was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In the past I've enjoyed the food there, but this time the meals we ordered were just so so. I had the Shrimp Scampi. It was topped with diced tomatoes that completely covered the small bowl to where you could barely see the noodles. Appearance and taste wise, it seemed though the diced tomatoes came right out of a can along with the watery juice. This juice mixing with what very little sauce there was gave the entire dish a weird taste. Honestly, I would have given this review 1 star if I only had this dish to rate but I also had the salad and it was good. Plus I've had Shrimp Scampi multiple times before and have always loved it, but today I couldn't even eat it. My daughter got the chicken parmesan. The noodles and marinara were good but the chicken was a little tough and extremely salty to where it was almost inedible. Whenever I get food that is way over salted, I always believe the reason is because they are trying to cover up for poor quality food. With the expense of dining out and only a 50/50 chance of getting a decent meal, it doesn't seem worth the risk to spend the money anymore. read more

I traveled down to Springfield for our annual state Mock Trial Competition on March 15th and we decided to go and eat out at Olive Garden for dinner. When we got there, they immediately took us in. Those breadsticks kept on coming and coming and we didn't even need to request for another batch. The salad was delicious and I loved how they kept piling the cheese. When we got our main entrees, they were all perfectly cooked and the food had me stuffed for the night. I don't live in Springfield but I would definitely come here again. Our waiter Cody was honestly THE BEST. He checked on us many times. Gave many great options. I told him I didn't want tomatoes in my salad and said he would make it himself which honestly I believe he did. He was WONDERFUL. We had one of those to go orders where we paid over $70 for the meal and the restaurant forgets one of our entrees. So we go all the way back to pick it up. And the restaurant does nothing to make it up to us. Not even an apology by the manager. The order also included several items that were cold upon pick up. The "To Go" experience was very underwhelming and definitely not something that we'll be looking to do again. Thumbs down. Update: I think the manager later refunded our order and provided us a voucher. Both gestures are definitely appreciated. We'll likely give them another shot at some point. Thanks. Great service, but one of the worst dishes I've had in a restaurant in a long time: the Giant Chicken Parm. The chicken was literally like three McChicken patties melded together---grisel and all---with very little sauce on top. We assumed that for a $20 dish, we'd be getting actual chicken breast---not processed fast food chicken.
