Janet is one of the best if not the best nail tech i've ever had! the sharp and color is always exactly how i want it!! clean, calming, and a truly great staff! the perk card is great especially if you get $10 as a surprise. First I want to start off by saying I never complain or have ever written a bad review on any business establishment. However I've never been treated this poorly in my life where I felt the need to write a review. I'm very simple person. I was looking up nail salons around my area to get my nails done. I got the short natural looking nails. I also got just the polish shellac paint . I could not get the full pedicure because I didn't have time. Before they even started on my nails I asked what the costs would be. I asked how much for my full set nails which they said $48 I said ok.. I added nothing extra just simple natural nails . I also got a $15 dollar shellac which would have increased the cost by our conversation to 63. Now tell me how how they charge over 100?? Beyond that they charged me for another service I never even received. (Which was included in the 100) Idk how they came up with the extra charges. It didn't matter about the price if they could have just explained where the extra money was for (ahead of time??) instead of arguing with me. On top of that this was absolutely the worst service I've ever received in a nail salon. They cut me a few times while putting on my nails. They were being aggressive when I mentioned it to them.. They didn't seem to care how felt instead how fast they could finish I guess. I'm only writing this because I don't want anyone else to have to go through the same experience...be careful guys read more

Have been here a few times before. My experience was always pleasant. Clean place and good service from what I had experienced. Sunday 11/05 I went to get a refill on my nails but for some reason the lady I requested, Tracy, was not available. Tracy does a wonderful job, unfortunately I tried someone new and didn't realized how bad of a job she did. On Monday 11/06 Couldn't get over how unhappy about the horrible work they had done. I wish I had the name of this lady with the bad job. I call today, Monday. They took me in and Tracy was able to fix my nails. Even thought I love Tracy's work I will not be returning to this place; normally a place won't charge you again for their bad work but this place did. I paid $35.00 for the bad job and they had to charge me $20 to fix them, the excuse I was give is that they closed week on Sunday and their workers are contractors and they can't backcharge them. Honestly just want to let people know if you go make sure you let them know if you are not happy with the work right away, otherwise you will be taken advantage of. I won't be returning due to this unfortunate experience. I feel like I got ripped off! read more

I've been coming here for years. The services are usually very good. I always get a mani/pedi done at the same time. The last 3 times now I've been told I cannot do a mani/pedi at the same time because "we don't have enough staff". This time I called to make an appointment and specified I wanted both services done at the same time as has been for years. Today I was told told even calling a day in advance to make an appointment they cannot do my services simultaneously. She confirmed they would rather be able to accommodate walk ins than do both for me at the same time. Last time I came in around lunch time on a weekday. Not too busy, and they still could not do both at the same time. As a regular who always tips 20%, I guess I expect to be able to make an appointment for both services. I don't have 3 hours to do a pedicure and then a manicure after as a separate services. Unfortunately will have to find somewhere else to be my usual nail place. read more

The woman who greeted me (I'm assuming the owner) was so kind, in fact everyone was really sweet. I got gel polish manicure and a pedicure and both were great! My tech was thorough with the massage and was prompt to offer a beverage. All around great experience, however my only complaint is that the brands that they offer for gel polish are really low quality. My manicure lasted 4 days before it started to peel up. The polish was very thin and by day 6 it looked awful it had to be removed. I didn't recognize the brand name 'DNC' or something similar? Generally with an OPI gel polish manicure it lasts me 2 weeks, so for this polish to last less than half that was disappointing. read more

I went to this nail salon 3 weeks ago and got my Neil's done. I told the lady what I wanted and she has got the wrong color. I warned her that it is the other color. She mumbled something and use the wrong color anyway. I was frustrated but didn't wanna spend more time and I Left after $65. My nails came off in a week. I went there again this time they asked me what shape I want my nails to be filed. I told her not straight but little angled. She told me it is $5 more. I said "you are already filing them, and if it's little sideways it is $5? I was so irritated because they must think we are stupid. Anyway, 3 days later nails began to separate from my own nails and I went back there and showed them. The lady was not happy with me and she did even worse job. It has been 2 days and nails are cracking already. I have noticed that they are only nice if you get pedicure and leave them a big tip and butter them up as if it's our job to satisfy them. And if you go to get their mistake fixed, they don't Even ask you if you wanna drink water. Very disappointed. read more

I would not recommend. There are plenty of nails and spas that go above and beyond in the area. The place appeared nice and has massage chairs. When I went in I specified that I wanted the basic pedicure ($25). They show me a drink menu and asked me to pick between a margarita, wine, infused water or soda. When asked how much then said free of charge. When they confirm which package I wanted I tell the basic. The cashier comes back to ask me for my drink and I told her someone was already getting them. She asked me to confirm again what package I was going with and when I confirmed the basic she tells me oh I'm sorry the margarita is only free with a more expensive package. I roll my eyes because I specifically told them to begin with the package I chose. The pedicure itself was mediocre. An older Asian lady managed to make by big toe bleed and didn't even clean it up. I had to ask them to clean and disinfect it for me. They didn't even offer a discount, just a measly apology. I still tipped the lady that did my pedicure because I'm certain she didn't cut me on purpose but all in all I would not recommend this place! read more

Excellent manicure and pedicure. Beautiful decor. Very clean. Feels like a high end spa. Soft music. Mounted televisions but sound was mute. Thank goodness. Nice, heated lavender neck roll. Thorough massage if arms, hands, legs and feet I left feeling very relaxed with beautiful hands and feet! Give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

I've been to this nail salon multiple times. For about 6-8 months this was my first choice of nail salons. This salon has a punch card so on the 5th time you go, you receive $10 off your total bill. I noticed they started to be hesitant to give me the $10 off and I thought that was strange but I brushed it aside. But one day I wanted to try dip nails as it was becoming popular amongst my peers. I went to Olive so excited as it was my turn to receive the $10 off on my punch card. I walked in and told them I wanted dip nails and they took me in right away. As it came time to pay, I excitedly pulled out my punch card which showed it was time to receive my $10 off. As the cashier noticed she quickly told me that I could not use it as the dip nails were discounted and you can not use your $10 off with a discount. Which is completely understandable, although, there was no information inside the salon claiming this. Nor was I informed by the employees that this discount was in place. So I confronted the cashier saying that I would not have gotten the dip nails as they are more expensive, especially without being able to use the $10 off. So, naturally I complained as I was unaware of this discount. The salon was very defensive and unwilling to right their wrongs. As I attempted to explain my situation and unawareness of the "discount" they apparently had, I received terrible attitude and customer service. I have not been back to Olive Nail Salon. The salon has made it very clear that they are stingy and dishonest with their money. Since, I have been going to Gossip Nail Salon on Louetta road and have yet to have a problem, as their customer service is impeccable. Do not go to Olive Nail Salon unless you expect to be cheated out of your money. XOXO read more

Wow!! This place is amazing!! I have been looking for a new nail place for awhile now. I have been to Venetian in Vintage Park (super busy all the time), Pamper Me Nails (inconsistent work and service), Cherries (unkept), Hollywood Nails, Pink Nails (unprofessional management)... I was looking for a place that is clean, professional, relaxing and well-kept. I am happy to say my search is now over! Olive is it! The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Love the front desk lady and the two sweet ladies who took care of me, Nancy and Sammy. The entire salon is clean - even the restroom. Beverages offered include infused water, iced coffee (delish!), wine, margaritas, and soda. Large color selection -paint & shellac. They put a warm neck pillow on at the beginning. The lavender scrub legitimately has lavender pieces in it, and the oil at the end had a nice, soft powder scent to it. I was looking for an experience and nice place to relax without a bunch of chatter. I don't have to look any further. Also, they've only been open for 2 months and you wouldn't know it. Great staff. Other places I've been to recently have terrible front desk staff and management. Olive is doing a fantastic job! Thank you all! I will definitely be back!! read more

I tried out Olive Nails with my friend on Sunday, and we both loved the place. First impression, they are very friendly and helpful. I got the classic mani and pedi, and unlike other spa's, they didn't treat me any differently than someone who was get the higher services. Trina did my nails and toes, and she did a great job! This place is INCREDIBLE!!! I went in for the first time today and it's gorgeous inside, as well as immaculately clean! I was greeted with the nicest lady upfront, and she went through all the types of pedicures. I received 30% off as well with the grand opening! The woman who did my pedicure was just beyond nice - I did the reflexology pedicure and she massaged my legs for at least 30 minutes! They also treated me to a beverage (mimosa!) as well as a snack! And then when the pedicure was complete, sweet Kim came and gave me a shoulder rub for a couple of minutes while my toes dried! I will ABSOLUTELY be returning!
