So let me say that I have been trying to get to this place for months, and I finally have. There are so many different olive oils there to sample that it just makes sense. The service we received from Sky was nothing more than amazing, she knows her stuff. Upon entering the store you get the sweet smell of olive oil. If you love cooking as much as we do you should go try them out. On Saturdays they even give you a free mini bottle of your pleasing. I will definitely be going back. I enjoy cooking with flavored olive oils. They offer many flavors and the ability to taste them before purchasing. They also have wonderful flavors of vinegar. They are great on salad or dipping bread into. Some olive oils mix nicely with the various vinegars to provide you a complimentary or complex flavor. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Love this place. Their olive oil and balsamic vinegars are really good. High quality and a great variety. Better than some competitor products in a similar format. The biggest difference and standout here is the staff which makes this a solid 5-star experience. We worked with Josh and he tailored our experience based on our likes, cooking needs and then offered suggestions to expand on what we already knew, providing some additional tips. This place is amazing!!!!! I'd never heard of places having olive oil on tap and I was intrigued. I use olive oil pretty much exclusively in cooking but wow, was I in for a surprise! The young man who helped us gave us samples to try which I initially was not keen on trying since it is oil after all. How wrong I was! The olive oil I use for cooking is not low cost but when I tasted the olive oil at the taproom I was shocked at how amazingly light and flavorful it is! We bought a bottle of olive oil as well as an 18 year old aged balsamic vinegar that was so delicious I will use it with all my veggies. I cannot say enough about how amazing this stuff is in comparison to what you buy in the grocery store. It's so worth checking out! read more

I have bought several of the vinegars and sent them as gifts to my family, and everyone loves them they are just delicious. You won't get bored eating salads with these vinegars. I especially like the Sicilian lemon and the Gravenstein apple. read more

I have been dying to get to the Olive Oil Taproom since they opened and I am devastated that yesterday was my first trip - this place is TO DIE FOR. Clean, extremely friendly and knowledgable (but not pushy) staff - and so much more than just olive oil. You can tell the owner (and who I believe was her son) LOVE what they're doing and love helping people to learn about delicious oils, vinegars, seasonings, and so much more. I was admiring some of the olive oil pourers (which are stunning) and was thrilled to find out they're from a local artist. I used the Tuscan Herb olive oil tonight (per their suggestion) on kebabs and they were, hands down, the best kebabs I've ever made. I couldn't resist drizzling some of the Mango Balsamic Vinegar on top of the chicken and O . M . G. This place will be top on my list for gifts from here on out - including a gallon of the butter-flavored olive oil for myself as I strive to lower my cholesterol! I have been there a few times and get excited every time. The second you walk in, someone comes to greet you and I begin to rattle off questions. They guide me to the perfect selection for what I'm looking for and even offer samples. I've been able to find the perfect taste for the recipes I have just by testing out a few oils and vinegars. I'm going to go back to get a few stocking stuffers for the holidays. The small sizes are perfect for travel (if you're going to a friends house and bringing appetizers) it would look great to bring along as a little host gift! I was underwhelmed with the service. I'm a fairly novice olive oil shopper and, if the gentleman working that day had cared a smidge less, I would've just left. Except I needed olive oil. His tone was condescending, and he had a boring script about the different types of oils. The olive oil I purchased seems decent enough but I won't return. Rude dude ruined the experience for me. If you need olive oil and know what you want, sure. If you don't, I'd make a quick trip to Oil + Vinegar at the Short Pump mall. Much nicer and far more helpful. read more

The olive oil is good however the service isn't. When I asked why there was such a price difference between their oil and one that I had purchased in PA (double the price), I was told "because I own the shop and I can charge what I want". I was expecting to be told about the differences in quality or processes. After I did a little research i found it was the same product with I different label.I like to support local businesses but not ones with this attitude. read more
