Was in the mood for some pizza that wasn't a chain and decided to give this place a try. It may have been an off day for them coming out of the weekend as everything I order that can be cooked, was over cooked. I ordered the Italian salad, cheesy bread, and a 3 topping pizza that included sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms. The salad was the best part unfortunately as you usually can't go wrong with a salad. I was impressed as normally out of a weekend, most restaurants serve you the leftovers from the weekend as they get their orders in Thurs & Fri to prepare for the weekend. The salad was actually fresh, crisp, and no brown lettuce. The Italian and ranch dressings were very tasty but I didn't go to get full on condiments. As for the cheesy bread and pizza, it was a dark brown color which means they left them in the oven too long or didn't rotate in time. The cheese bread was hard to pull apart. Not my ideal cheese bread as I need to see a tad bit of that stringy goodness as I'm about to tear into it. The pizza was the same way as the crust was hard. Very disappointed in this pizzeria. First time customers willing to drive/wait 45 minutes to get some (what looked like) authentic pizza. When I called to place the order today, I told the young lady it was for delivery. She proceeded to get my address and card information. She charges me, and told me my wait time for delivery was 45 minutes. No problem. 15 minutes later she calls me back saying that my address is out of the delivery zone so I'd have to pick up because the order has started cooking. My husband and I decided to go pick it up but being that it was a 25 minute drive from my house and it had already been cooking for 15 minutes so by the time we got there to pick up our order it had been sitting for 20 minutes. The quality has really gone down since I last ordered. After a rude and mumbly person took my order, the delivery took over an hour. When the food arrived, the sauce from the pasta was spilled all over the pizza box top. I ordered the garlic shrimp pizza, and somehow got garlic and sausage. 1st visit at this place. First time was great! Pizza was great. Weird thing was they informed me a delivery would take 3 hours to come to my apartment (I'm right up the road. 3 mins away.) if you don't want to deliver just say that lol. Small Asian-origin dude here's my out then attempted argue with me by claiming he assumed the girl must've thought I meant 5 cheese pizzas, then he shifted his argument to 2 pizzas with extra cheese, then admitted he knew what the term 5-cheese pizza meant but it was my fault the order was wrong. I informed him I actually ordered the same thing from this place before (1st visit) I'm a chill dude but I got a chip on the shoulder vibe from this guy like he wanted to argue. Once he attempted to change what the definition/term 5-cheese pizza meant to validate his argument I was like "you can have your pizza back in exchange for my money." I doubt this guys the owner but if one becomes so bitter just from a chill dude wanting to exchange an order that your business messed up you might need to adjust that attitude. I saw Olive Oil's last night while waiting on my husband to run into Kroger for a bottle of wine. I was sitting in the car right outside the restaurant. We were on our way home so I called and placed the order right there in the car. The store was empty. A gentleman answered, took my order along with my address and payment info then he advised 35-45 minutes delivery time. This was 7:23PM. At 8:09 PM I got a call from a lady saying that they had just looked up my address and found me to be out of the delivery range. I was pretty shocked given it was passed the time the pizza was to have arrived. The very unapologetic girl on the phone told me to call the Richardson location they were closer. I asked why they didn't call me sooner as it had already been an hour. She had no excuse, made no effort to retain my business. No offer to deliver the pizza I had been waiting on for an hour for an extra charge. Nothing. Just call Richardson she said. Well I mapped the Richardson location after I placed an order with Pizza Hut and it's 16.9 miles from my house while the Garland store is 5.6 miles from my house. I called today to ask the delivery radius which is 4 miles. Clearly outside the range but you think they would have noticed that BEFORE they charged my credit card, before they told me I could have a pizza and before I left the parking lot because I would have happily waited 15-20 minutes for it to bake if it meant waiting an hour to be told order a pizza from somewhere else so I could wait another hour to feed my husband dinner. I wish I could tell you whether or not the pizza was good or whether it was piping hot. But I can't I can just tell you that extremely poor customer service lost a pizza loving first timer's business without ever serving me a pizza. read more

If one orders more than one pizza, the pizzas do not come out together at least 1 of 3 times. That leaves one pizza with a very soggy crust. And, at least 1 of 4 times, the order is wrong. Besides offering all sizes and kinds of pizza, you'll find terrific salads, sandwiches and great service. The shop is small, there is usually one of two small tables, but, that's really seldom ever used for "dining in" as most of the customers choose delivery or to-go... The prices are not super expensive, they're about what you'd expect from such a place...just somewhere in the cheap middle...the quality, in my opinion far supercedes the price. New to the neighborhood, I received coupons from this place and I am all about supporting independent restaurants instead of big chains so I decided to give it a try. Their menu has a wide variety of specialty pizza, including some really cool ones like the muffuletta and the cajun one with crawfish and shrimp on top. I decided to try the bacon cheeseburger pizza. I also ordered a small cheesy bread because the girl on the phone insisted that it was 'really good'. Unfortunately, several items on their online menu aren't available at all locations, and some of the items (like the peanut butter pie) aren't offered at my local shop even though the menu doesn't indicate that. So that was a disappointment because my mouth was already watering at the thought of it! The pizza was a bit pricey - for a medium-sized bacon cheeseburger pizza and a small cheesy bread delivered to my house (less than 5 minutes from the location) my total was $26. The cheesy bread was honestly nothing special, it was just pizza dough with browned cheese on top. It came with ranch and marinara for dipping, but it needed something... parmesan or garlic or something to give it some punch. My boyfriend was also unimpressed with it, we likely won't order it again. The pizza was good and tasted fresh. We got just the regular hand-tossed dough and it was hot and gooey when it arrived. Didn't notice grease or anything that some other reviewers have said. However, not sure if it was really worth the cost (almost $16 for not a very big pizza) and we will probably get a different pizza next time we order here. The pizza was much better cold the next morning as leftovers. We ended up tossing the rest of the cheesy bread out though. Their sandwiches and pasta look good, so we'll give this place another shot. read more

I had never heard of this place until my job ordered their pizza for lunch months ago. The pizza was delicious and fresh, loved it. However, my main reason for this review is not the pizza, even though I did like it. I just recently discovered ( or had the nerve to order) their " Flying Pig" sandwich. Let me tell you something, this sandwich is everything and so much more. It is on a 12" hoagie roll and has pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, capicola, bacon, Canadian bacon, beef, chicken, green olives, black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, tomato, jalapenos and mozzarella and provolone cheeses. And when I say they are not stingy with toppings, believe me. For those that can't eat the whole thing, they do offer the "Piglet" which is the half of the Flying Pig. The price range is not cheap but not outrageous, either. The Flying Pig goes for 13.99 and you can easily get two meals out of it. The Piglet is 7.99. If you are looking for a hearty sandwich, give this one a try. No, your arteries or waistline will not thank you. BTW- Since you already are pigging out, why not end the meal with their delicious chocolate suicide cake. It is rich, chocolately and will complete your already gluttonous meal. read more
