We are new to the area and getting to know the local places. My son spotted this location from the highway so we stopped in. I could not believe the prices first of all-- this was a throwback to the past. The breadsticks were delicious! Homemade, fresh, hot and garlicky. The pizza was very cheesy, took about 15 minutes and will feed my son for a few days. I think this is a great place to pick up food for a movie night. Try it out for sure. read more

I can't get enough of a big garden salad and the sweet heat bbq wings with the bread sticks garlic butter and cinnastix and icing we are so full they just can't hardly move. And the service is superior.Reminds me of a little Italian restaurant I went to as a teenager. read more

We are new to Kaufman and have been trying out different places around town. This place has the best pizza I've had in years. Their crust is crunchy but not hard, has great flavor and compliments the toppings very well. Their wings were good and we fell in love with their breadsticks and cheesy bread. My husband and mines first time here, and it was so good! We already put it on our schedule to come back. We had the special of the day which was a large three topping pizza. We did half Hawaiian with jalapeño and half pepperoni- beef - bacon. The crust was fresh and not to thick, and the sauce was not over barring. It was so good! We also had an order of Buffalo wings and they were baked fresh and the Buffalo was perfect! The restaurant is owner operated and the couple were very nice and answered all our question in regards to the menu. Hands down the best pizza. I've known the family who owns and run it and they are friendly.

I probably shouldn't, but I eat lunch here at least once a week. It's seriously that good. No use for pizza chains when you have local pizza like this. For lunch, a two topping personal pizza and a 20 oz soda under $5. Hard to beat that price, especially for how good everything tastes. read more

We're traveling through the and read the reviews for this restaurant,? thought it would be great! We drove from Terrell to Kaufman. We were greeted at the door of a very hot and steamy front of the house seating area and told it would be 40 minutes before we could be served to eat there. The cook look like he been hooked on meth for quite some time. We were told they had eight orders ahead of us. Everyone was quite unfriendly. Can't imagine anyone dining in there. I ordered 3 personal pizzas for me, my daughter and my niece. My daughter is super picky, we had a place similar to this (not dominos, pizza hut etc) and she didn't like their pizza so I was incredibly pleased when she enjoyed theirs (sausage the size of quarters, pretty cool). No complaints from any of us. My favorite part was probably when I pulled a slice out and the cheese stretched so far out! Now that's pizza! read more

We usually order Roma's pizza but got Pizza Paisan on a whim. I love supporting local businesses and we don't do chain pizza. I was pleased to see that they do make everything fresh and love that my daughter's school does field trips where they can make their own pizza. So far we have ordered pizza only, but each time they've been perfect. I love the homestyle alfredo and Meat pleaser, my girls the BBQ chicken and regular cheese. They really enjoy when I order the personal size for them. We also tend to order sides of marina. Everything is always hot and fresh! I have ordered take n bakes (which I think is awesome that they do) but can't give a review on that... no fault of Pizza Paisan, but my oven is on the fritz so it didn't cook evenly. I suspect if my oven wasn't malfunctioning they would've been amazing too. read more

BEST pizza in Kaufman, and honestly, some of the best (in my opinion) I've had anywhere in the U.S. I love supporting small businesses so it's a win/win. Downside: I think they'd benefit by being open a little later. Also, since they're a small establishment, they can get backed up on orders. Pizza was not terrible. I was hoping to find a nice pizza place that was not your average crust and subpar ingredients. I would still prefer a chain pizza place over this.
