This is a typical diner food. We had flaming cheese and it was it very melted. We did have the broasted chicken, chicken soup, urban soup, an omelet , spaghetti, and Croissant sandwich, The chicken was juicy and ok. The soups were very tasty and delicious. The spaghetti was loved by the kid. The omelet was demolished and nothing left. We all had no leftover so that goes to say was a good meal. Wanted dessert but was to full. They looked yummy. If you're around it's worth the try. Service was good she was a busy gal. There was two servers for the place. Loved the old decorations it was very nostalgic.

Good place to go with a group of friends on Sunday for lunch/brunch. It's a diner with pretty much all kinds of food for all tastebuds. Steak & Shrimp combo with 3 jumbo shrimp - $16 Steak was cooked perfectly. I had 2 5oz pieces rather than one 10oz piece, and the shrimp weren't really "jumbo" but large. The side of hash brown came on a separate plate cuz it was huge. Hubby had the chicken Fried Steak w mashed potato and gravy $13 It was really good. Just remember to ask for the gravy on the side next time. maybe the mashed potato on the side too. Check your receipts - they forgot to apply the Sunday price and I had to get it fixed. A shout out to our server Filla! She seemed so grouchy at first, but it's just her first impression. Really sweet and took care of us efficiently. Beautiful smile - just be nice to her and she'll reciprocate.

My family and I live near the Olive tree Café, having moved down here in March we have been searching for a family run restaurants. Olive tree café has a very extensive menu, a very good breakfast, the fish fry is outstanding, if you're a liver and onions person, I am. This is your home. The wait staff and the owners are very friendly, they do a tomato macaroni soup from scratch which is outstanding. And the price is right. Oh did I mention they have a great New York style cheesecake that you can get with pretty much whatever fruit you want on top. We've been here a number of times since March. I would highly recommend stopping it.

    Limited menu with prices listed.

While our waitresses were kind and helpful, Olive Tree should be ashamed of themselves! My family made a 25-person reservation to be together on the one year anniversary of my grandfather's death. This was his favorite restaurant. When the reservation was made, we had the option to book a hall or not, and decided on a large table in the restaurant (not a hall) during their least busy time of day (confirmed by staff member). The decision to decline the hall was understood by the staff member on the phone. This reservation was made a month in advance. When we arrived, we were sat at a large table in the dining room, not in a rentable hall. Each family member was given a menu with prices next to each item. We were absolutely appalled when a single bill arrived at the end of our meal for a flat rate of $800. Several people just had a drink, or a bowl of soup and salad. Even if every single person in our party got the most expensive dish on the menu- our bill wouldn't have been CLOSE to $800! When the restaurant was questioned why we didn't get an itemized check, and how they came to the bill of $800, they said they had to "figure it out". When we finally got a "revised" bill, it was $700 including a "hall rental fee" for a hall we did not inhabit. They could not tell us why we were charged $28 per person and not the amount stated on the menu provided to us, or why they couldn't remove the hall rental fee. 18% gratuity is standard on a large party meal, but $700 isn't our meals plus 18% gratuity! If we didn't question why our bill was $800, would they have charged us an extra $100 simply because they could? What a lovely way to treat a grieving family! Olive Tree should be ashamed of themselves. It is unbelievable they have the audacity to behave this way to loyal, paying customers.

This review is on the staff and one food item - the bucket of fish!! We are always looking for a way to feed our family a cheaper but tasty fish fry. This one delivers. For a good price you get great food. The people were also very friendly. Took a picture so you can see but we already ate much of it by the point the picture was taken.

We stumbled upon this cute place by accident. So glad we did. The food was so good. If you are in the area stop by, I don't think you will be disappointed.

At Olive Tree Cafe. I found this hidden gem. I love this place. I had the lasagna.

The little puffy donuts they give you when you sit down are delightful and a different touch. We had the Nutella crepes, pancakes, eggs and bacon. This is all pretty standard stuff of course, but all executed very well and blindingly fast. One small criticism was the distribution of Nutella on the crepes - it seemed like there was too much at first, but we believe its because the crepes were folded and then Nutella and fruit were added. It might be a nice touch to spread some of the Nutella on the crepes before folding? Either way, the flavors were nice, fruit seemed fresh and the crepes were well made - not paper thin and also not doughy. Service was super friendly and welcoming.

Our entrees were the Pork Belly Skillet worth Berry Mascarpone Pancakes (less cream and loaded with fruit), a Texas Burger with fries and a Gyro Panni. Usually we are thrilled and the food is great, today they really enjoyed their meals but something tasted off with the pork belly skillet. What a great find!…read more We're in town from Illinois for a baseball tournament and stopped by Oak Creek Diner for breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we knew we'd found a local favorite. The counter service was a great bonus and gave the place that classic diner feel. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The corned beef hash was some of the best we've had, the Western omelette was loaded with fresh ingredients, and the meat lovers skillet was hearty, packed with bacon, sausage, ham, and plenty of flavor. Every plate came out hot, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked just right. Friendly service, great food, and a classic diner atmosphere. If you're in the Oak Creek area, whether you're a local or just passing through like we were, this place is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

This is a solid breakfast spot and every table was in service towards the end of our meals. We had a chili cheese omelette and the country fried steak breakfast. I had the country fried steak this time but I did have the chili cheese omelette on my last visit and I didn't snap any pictures because a customer had a medical emergency and an ambulance and fire truck came to the restaurant but I remember liking it. The decor is nothing fancy but it's not a dive with over priced omelets like my breakfast experience, look at my last review. The country fried steak was noticeably bigger than most places around town except for NA cafe which is a real country steak and I just expected a frozen restaurant supply quality. It was golden brown with that commercial sausage gravy which is the norm for 99% of breakfast restaurants around town so I'm not going to knock them on that because I'm a country fried steak guy all my life. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra crispy hash browns were cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was better than the average restaurant where you couldn't tell if it was white or sourdough with that chew. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with all my visits and at $13 it's $9 cheaper than my last breakfast experience at a dive restaurant and hits the spot.

There is a small portion for outdoor seating, but it's the interior that makes this place unique. A panoply of saloon memorabilia covers the walls and ceiling in its entirety. It is an impressive site to behold. It was neat spotting some of the items that are also in my personal collection, and I could write all day about the décor, but this is a food review. My family and I dined there on 8/5 for my brother's birthday. I'll begin by saying our waitress Cindy did an excellent job as she was friendly and attentive. For my entrée, I went with the Monterey Steak Bites, which is listed as an appetizer on the menu. I'm not the largest guy, so the 6oz of grilled black angus steak was plenty for me. The bites are sauteed with white wine, mushrooms, garlic butter, and topped with a layer of melty Monterey Jack Cheese. Everything about this dish was perfect. My steak was tender and juicy, the mushrooms were abundant, large, and fresh, the garlic flavoring was noticeable but not overpowering, and the plethora of cheese was more than enough to satisfy this cheesehead. If there was any negative to it, it would be that it was so rich, I had a bit of a stomachache after, but that's why I don't eat this way all the time. Almost forgot to mention, it comes with a tiny cocktail fork that was ideal for spearing the steak and mushrooms.
